We were a group of 6 and had a fantastic time in Rachel's house in Thédirac. The kitchen was very well equipped for us to prepare meals, there were lots of lovely outdoor places to sit and eat, the garden was beautiful and well maintained (and a great source of herbs for cooking), and it was a real treat to walk to the bakery each morning for fresh bread and croissants. It was about 30-60 mins drive from the main attractions, which was fine for half-day or day trips. Couldn't have asked for more.

Great week-long stay. The place is charming, well located and quite quiet. The cottage only offers two accommodations, one of which was unoccupied, so we were able to enjoy the latter alone. Patrick is extremely friendly, we did not ask him but I am sure we could have if necessary. Thanks to him. I highly recommend the place.

The house is located in a secluded plot surrounded by woodland and with amazing views over the countryside. It has comfy beds, a modern kitchen with everything you need, a gas BBQ, a huge deck with outdoor seating and of course the lovely heated swimming pool. It is truly peaceful yet within an easy drive of Montignac with its supermarkets and riverside eateries. Saint Amand de Coly is a great base for exploring the Dordogne by car, with lots to see, visit and do within just half an hour’s drive and more further afield. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this super property.

Beautiful property and location, we had a very peaceful and relaxing week. The pool and hot tub were perfect for cooling off during the day and chilling out at night. Sarlat is a short drive away and handy for restaurants and supermarket runs. The nearest Boulangerie is just 2km away and has great bread and pastries. It was very hot during our visit but Amandine’s place stayed cool inside and was a welcome respite from the heat. Great communication with Amandine from start to finish. Thank you!

Overall we had a nice stay at the Chai, comfortable accommodation with all the amenities needed. Sabine and Thierry are very friendly and welcoming. We recommend it with confidence.

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. You couldn't wish for a better host than Arnaud! Proactively check if everything is to your liking, or inform if help is needed. Via the app to respect your peace and privacy, but take the time for a conversation if you want. The accommodation is new and cozy with an eye for details. We felt right at home there! The thick walls keep heat out and you can have a good night's sleep in the lovely beds and good sound insulation. The location is conveniently located in relation to the many attractions in the area. Much has already been written about it in the introduction to Arnoud and Elodie, but if you want to swim in peace, relax on the side and lie in the shade under the trees with a catering facility, go to Pont de Vicq in Le Buisson de Cadouin. The town of Monpazier is also definitely worth a visit! Normally, supermarkets are miles away, but in this place, there is one 900 meters away. Arnoud, Elodie, thank you for the wonderful time!!

This was our second time staying in Audrey's property - it's a really wonderful, comfortable, and well-equipped cottage. Audrey and her family care for the property, pool and grounds so well. Everything is spotless, beautifully maintained and great quality Just like last time we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. We adore the quiet location a short drive from both Montignac and Sarlat. There's so much to do nearby but it's lovely too to just spend time by the pool, or cooking local produce on the BBQ, or reading, or bird watching over the valley. The pool is one of the nicest we've encountered and is the icing on the cake for this cute cottage. Thank you for another wonderful holiday, Audrey! We hope to come back again soon.

We had a great family stay at Magali's. Very flexible and warm welcome, the house is really a gem in this very well maintained, equipped, swimming pool and garden without neighbors, provision of games… everything to have a good time! We have just come back from a wonderful week at Jeanies Gite. We’ve had an amazing time and will be back. The location was idyllic. The accommodation was lovely. The pool was great. And Jeanie was so welcoming. We went to the Dordogne to sightsee but the Gite was so good we stayed there, other than a lovely kayak down the Dordogne. Thank you Jeanie, we will see you again. Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

We had a fantastic time in this spacious and cozy farmhouse. A great location, wonderfully quiet and beautifully situated. Enjoy the birds and butterflies in the large garden. Really an ideal place to relax and unwind. We were warmly welcomed by Anne, a very nice and friendly hostess. You feel more than welcome here. If it is up to us, we would like to come back.

A beautiful place to stay in the very beautiful small town of Montignac. Alexandre’s lovely house was so central - with easy parking and access to the many lovely places to see and to cafes and restaurants. We were made very welcome by Alexandre and his wife - and our two dogs were equally welcome! Un grand merci! We hope to be back to visit again.

It is a great and homely furnished home. Lots of privacy, and beautiful views from really any space! We immediately felt at home. At the beginning we had a request to Nathalie, which was immediately arranged for us, really great. In short: highly recommended, also because it is a perfect base for the area between the rivers Dordogne and the Vésère, near the beautiful town of Sarlat.

Michael’s place is a perfect stay to discover the wonders of Périgord. The perfect location, coupled with the pool and family house is a divine combo for a relaxed and adventurous stay. Thank you very very much, Michael.

We enjoyed our two weeks stay at Véronique‘s a lot. The house is very nice, we felt at home right away. It is located in a lovely, well kept and quite village. If you see the neighbours in the streets, they are friendly. The house itself is very clean, offers even more space than the photos indicate, and is very well decorated. The kitchen has everything we needed when it comes to utensils and machinery. The bathrooms are nice, too. The view from the house onto the property and surrounding landscape is amazing and invites you to relax. We took a lot of meals on the balcony. We enjoyed the garden and especially the pool which is looked after by a specialist every view days. We saw a lot of different birds while being in the garden. The village offers a small restaurant and a very good bakery both with French cuisine/ pastry.

Hughes the host is very friendly, in front of the house there is a small farm that he shows us, it was great, we will surely come back and enjoy the pool and sauna! I would highly recommend this very friendly host, the place is also historic! We love it anyway! See you soon!
