We had an incredible stay here. Such a lovely home. Natsuko was so kind to pick us up from the nearby park to direct us to the house.

We are a family of four (one child and one teenager) and we recently stayed one night with these wonderful hosts. We loved it all - foraging for dinner, helping prep, eating together. Was such a special evening. Card games after dinner was an added bonus that we all loved. Our bedroom was beautifully made up and Yoriko went to extra effort to make sure we were warm and would sleep well. We all loved our time with the hosts and will definitely aim to return - but this time for more than one night! Our youngest commented as he got into bed “I can’t believe we’ve only just met them today, they feel like family”. Many thanks again to you both, we feel very lucky to have stayed with you - a definite highlight of our travels. See you again soon!

Twinkle Villa

BeckaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
My partner and I stayed at Twinkle Ville for two nights. It was a wonderful and relaxing time. The house is spacious and charming! There are nice touches around the house to make it feel like a home, such as books to read and cute decorations. We decided to take advantage of the large kitchen (very rare in Japan) and cooked our meals here. We brought our own groceries, including oil and spices (make sure to check the listing to make sure you have what you need). Older houses like this in the countryside can get quite chilly in the winter but there were heating units and well space heaters to keep us warm! Plus the blankets in the bedroom are very warm as well. Hopefully we’ll have a chance to stay in the future, thanks again! ありがとうございます~ Becka and Chris

Traditionalhouse,Takeda castle 5min,Kinosaki 50min

Rating, 5 stars1 week ago
It was very good. I really enjoyed the renovated space of the old house. In particular, I was impressed by the fact that the bath was a Goemon-style bath.🪵 The scent of straw tatami mats was also nice🌿 I really felt that the building was being taken care of. In the end, we decided not to go to Takeda Castle and spent a relaxing time at the inn, but there were also shogi and hyakunin-isshu, so we enjoyed ourselves at the inn! The owner's personality was also very friendly. He kindly gave us information on sightseeing at Takeda Castle🏯 It is also used during the season of the sea of clouds. Thank you.😊

100-year-old Traditional Japanese house (whole)

AlexRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had such a lovely time in Miayazu, and got to know Meg too. The house is absolutely beautiful, and a real highlight of our trip. But what we enjoyed the most was a morning spent fishing with Meg and Hasushi - I would thoroughly recommend booking this with Meg before you arrive.

I had a wonderful stay in this cozy, traditional accommodation. The hostess was incredibly friendly and was already waiting for me on the main street. The location of the place is great! The bus stop to Ine is only a few minutes' walk away. I would absolutely recommend it!
