Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Tamano

On the last night of our trip in Takamatsu, we stayed in a rural area at a family-run B&B.The ○ room is decorated with a variety of objects, a refined garden, Japanese fireworks, starry sky, ice cream, snacks, various drinks and wine... and soft tatami mats (_ _). So we wrote a long letter to the host (although it was machine-translated, the happiness of🥺 traveling in Japan really comes from interacting with people, scenic spots and food that don't rip you off, adorable merchandise, and exquisite scenery) Thank you very much for providing accommodation.We are very happy to have ended our 9-day trip in Japan in such a lovely home.The garden and the room were very beautiful, and the puppy was super cute.Everyone was very kind, and the fireworks the aunt gave me were very enjoyable, and the Japanese breakfast had a wide variety of items, and the view from the house was very beautiful!It was just a one-night stay, but we witnessed a dream-like life and were constantly exclaiming, "I want to have a life like this someday."If I have the opportunity in the future, I would like to stay longer again! Shin and Emi are very nice and friendly, as they gave us advice about transportation, to-dos etc. months before our stay, also collect our preferences (meal options, sauna, art performance etc.) days before. About the house, it is everything we wish for and beyond, neat and tidy, traditional Japanese style (we slept on the tatami like babies), and retro but beautiful interior design. Would definitely recommend for group of 2-3 people! Last but not least, their art performance transcends our understanding of live cinema, also learnt a lot about history and environment, would also recommend!

Kureishi-san was a very kind and helpful host. He gave us great recommendations, helped us get bikes even when the bike shop was closed, and showed us around the island. Kureishi-san is a big part of why we loved our stay in Teshima.

An emaculately clean and tidy home with beautiful decor. Very comfortable beds, a great shower, well kitted out kitchen, good airconditioning and internet. The bicycles were fantastic. Cycling is definately the best way to get around town. Our hosts were kind and generous. There is a big supermarket nearby and a lovely Izakaya almost next door where you can meet friendly locals.

I recommend Yue to anybody. I felt like I was right at home, and it was fun to look for things like different rooms (a hidden reading nook!) and see what is in the fridge (free amenities in there btw). I especially love the attention to detail, like the japanese garden, bathroom amenities, and the bikes. Although it's in the middle of a suburb area, having bicycles available a child seat for my 3-year old made it easy to get around the city. Her local recommendations and willingness to reserve them for us made things so easy, like papermaking and visiting her local go-to bathhouse. If we ever come back, we'd love to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Yumiko's. The apartment was very clean, well-equipped and quiet. The apartment is very well located, close to transport and many restaurants. I highly recommend Yumiko as a host.

Great place to stay. We travelled by car and the location is convenient for us travelling to the attractions nearby. The house itself is a piece of history itself , very spacious and you feel travelling back in time. Host is super friendly and explains everything in detail how to use the facility. Highly recommend if you are after a special place to stay :)

I was able to convey my old life to my elementary school children.The children seemed to have a very pleasant meal in the fireplace, and I was very impressed by the rice I cooked myself.We had a great time with our family. The room was very clean and really comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful time.

This place is very clean and cozy and i would recommend to my friends without hesitation. Great proximity to Ritsurin Garden and restaurants around Kawaramachi Station. I felt very welcomed even though i was in a hurry, which i am very grateful for.

The owner is very enthusiastic about checking in and out, and the location of small snacks and green tea is also very good, and the airport bus is a few minutes away and you will choose here again next time!

It was a nice, clean place near a train stop, making the main station really accessible. The castle was only a few minutes on foot, the city centre is 25-30 minutes away. Nice, clean place.

It's attached to the central shopping street, and you can also use the parking lot. It was a very satisfying accommodation because it was filled with all kinds of items. We highly recommend it for couples with small children or for a trip for two.

Very pleasant 2-week stay! Responsive host, supermarkets nearby (5 min walk) and accommodation close to the train station (13 min walk from Shin-Kurashiki station). Small bonus on the reliability of the description and photos of the apartment. All the necessary appliances are available (mini-oven, washing machine, microwave, kettle, fridge, electric hob) and we are provided with a large part of the cleaning products (washing-up liquid, shower gel, shampoo, laundry,...) and hygiene (towels, toilet paper, toothbrush,...). Finally, the apartment is very clean and large enough for 2 people.

I used it on a trip with friends and family, 7 people in total, 4 adults and 3 children (2 years old, 1 year old, 0 years old). First of all, the room was thoroughly cleaned, and the amenities, which were all Muji, were very complete.I cooked a simple meal, but the kitchen was fully equipped and very convenient.I used the Japanese-style room, and the futon mattress was quite thick and comfortable, and the futon cover was also made of gauze-like fabric and was smooth and great. I was a little worried that the water pressure in the bathroom was a little weak, but it wasn't inconvenient. And most of all, I thought it was a great place to stay with children! There was children's body soap (araubaby) in the bathroom, garbage bags for diapers, children's dishes, baby futons, kids chairs (2 bamboos and 1 katoji table), and plenty of toys, so the kids were able to spend their time without getting bored.I was impressed because it was the first time I had stayed at an inn that thought so much about children.The choice of toys was also very impressive, as expected from a former nursery teacher.I really appreciated it. The equipment was damaged due to our mistake, but the response was very kind and prompt. We had a great time, thank you very much!

The room is on the 4th floor, very spacious and beautiful, not far from the commercial street, the landlord also lent me a bicycle for free, a great experience!The 1st floor is a barbershop, you can ask the landlord to help you get a haircut!

The place was easy to find, and very cozy and quiet. It takes 10-15 minutes walk to the port, which was convenient for travelers to get to the ship.

Excellent value and it was really easy to check in! Apartment was spotless and it was easy to walk to Takamatsu Station, or the nearby shopping areas.

Very complete house with all amenities. More than typical places provide, like first aid, cleanser, scissors, etc. Even added a heater for kitchen because aircon cannot reach.Very considerate. only downside is the drain for shower is a bit choke and slow.
