Located on a stone wall where two rivers meet, this renovated traditional house surrounded by trees is a single unit inn. There are no other buildings within sight, so you can enjoy the sound of the river, the sound of birds, and the sense of unity with nature, and the water supply is spring water (water quality inspection has been completed). Depending on the season, there are people who come and go from the river next to the house, playing in the river and aiming to reach Kappa Falls. If the weather is good, you can play in the river, BBQ with the ingredients you bring, You can also enjoy a fire. (Please be careful when handling fire.) When it rains, you can enjoy the ingredients you brought over the charcoal fire in the Irori fireplace in the room, or cook while listening to the sound of the river, as we also provide cooking utensils, a range, and dishes. We renovated a 160-year-old traditional house in 2023. The total site is 700 tsubo (2300 m ²), and the building is 170 m ², making it very spacious. While it is an 8-minute drive to Kumamoto Castle, it is a cottage where you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. The garden is full of trees and flowers, including a large camphor tree that has been there for over 160 years, black pines, Japanese maples, and bamboo forests, so you can enjoy the trees and flowers in all seasons. The host lives in the adjacent building, so you can feel at home. Take a big, deep breath and refresh yourself from the heart. ●Here’s what you need to know · There are many mosquitoes and insects because there is a garden with many trees. One private holiday home at the foot of Mount Aso.

Main bedroom has 2 beds, a big closet, working space and another Japanese style room has two futons. The kitchen is fully equipped so that you can use it for a long stay without any inconvenience. There is a wood stove in the living room which is available in winter after receiving instructions from the host. The host lives next house, but of course will not disturb you unless guest's requests. Our 花hana is located at the foot of Mt. Aso, so we coexist with the wild animals and rich nature.
