Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Tacoma

Very responsive owner, answering all of my questions promptly. Very nice house in a peaceful neighborhood.

Well designed place with modern feel. Close to downtown. Comfy beds and furnishings. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Nice view of the water and ships. Craig was responsive and helpful. Despite being close to railway and attached rental the place was very quiet at night. Would definitely stay again.

This was one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at—beautifully set right on the water, peaceful, and full of thoughtful, high-end touches throughout. The host was incredibly responsive and proactive, making everything easy from start to finish. We’d happily stay here again anytime. While it was just us, we can see how this would be perfect with a larger group (friends, family, etc.).

Alisha's place is a nice two bedroom place in a quite neighborhood. She is a great communicator and always wants to make sure things are good during your stay. We have stayed multiple times at this home and plan to stay more in the future.

Absolutely gorgeous house and location! Looked exactly like the photos. We took advantage of the oysters right in back of the house and cooked them in the oven for a delicious dinner. The hot tub was the perfect place to watch the sunset. Lots of beautiful wildlife, including birds, fish, and seals that swam right up to the dock! Kayaks were another excellent feature. Overall, the perfect place to spend our honeymoon!

Our family has stayed in a few of Katrina's properties and have always had a good experience. This property is in a beautiful area! The views from her deck will not disappoint. Browns Point is very private and all the neighborhoods are walkable with amazing views. Katrina's place was spacious and cozy all in one! Would stay there again for sure. She is very responsive and was always available if needed. Don't hesitate!

We had a great stay at Miles's place. It was everything we hoped it would be. Just like a home away from home. The house was clean and cozy and perfect for a couple who want to spend time in Tacoma. We picked this location because it was close to where our family lives, so we could visit them frequently, go for walks at Point Ruston and Point Defiance Park and visit Proctor and the other fun neighborhoods in the area. Excellent Supermarkets, too.

We enjoyed the whole house. It was beautifully decorated and so cozy. The views of Mt. Rainier from the living room and 2 bedrooms are stunning! While we were there, we saw seals, an eagle, deer, and a friendly cat that visited us daily. The kayaks were a hit. We would stay there again!

Victorias place was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The Captains Quarters are a must stay place if you’re in long branch/lakebay. It felt like we were truly a captain of a ship, especially since the view was absolutely amazing. Victoria was so responsive, kind, and gave local recommendations. The private beach is even more gorgeous than the pictures, and it felt like a getaway from home. Our only regret is that we didn’t do more on the property! Would definitely stay here again. Props to Victoria and the amazing space!

We had a fantastic stay! The home had everything we needed: a full kitchen, clean bathroom, two comfy bedrooms, two cozy sitting rooms, and a washer/dryer—which was a huge help with our baby. It was fully stocked with fresh linens, towels, and blankets. The outdoor patio with a fire pit and stunning water views was a perfect place to relax. Jill and Gregg were wonderful hosts—warm, responsive, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Jill even greeted us with homemade brownies and a bottle of wine! The house is family-friendly and included a pack and play, which made traveling with our 4-month-old so much easier. If you’re visiting the Fox Island or Gig Harbor area, don’t hesitate—this place is a gem. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great host and beautiful apartment. Sweet outdoor space. Very quiet and clean with everything we needed for a nice stay. The unit has quite a few stairs leading up to it and steps inside to be aware of for elderly or those with physical challenges. Great stay and I would stay here again for sure.

Private, relaxing, peaceful, natural beauty,easy to navigate surrounding areas. Look for a land mark for driveway, not easy to find the right driveway. Local restaurants more for afternoon and evening dining, most places open at 11. If you are looking to be unplugged and get into natural landscapes this is the place. Was a perfect anniversary getaway. We will stay here again, THANKS Jonathan

The apartment looks on onto the lake and it was very nice to sit out on the patio watching sea planes and boaters. The interior was comfortable, stylish, and very clean. I felt the mattress was quite comfortable. Easy parking right out front. While the apartment is on a busy road, it was not disruptive and it didn't bother us at all during the night. The communication was great and proactive. I would definitely stay here again!

This was my second time at the Woodsy Retreat and it was wonderful, again. Enjoyed a hike through the State Forest, the hot tub, and all the goodies and snacks! Perfect place to relax and get away from it all!

I appreciated how friendly Beth is and I’m so grateful they have an Airbnb. The space had gorgeous views of the sound kitchen two bedrooms full bath. It was on a nice sized property felt very private and safe. Beth was great at communicating and helping us know how to get in and how to check out. Anderson Island is a beautiful place with kind residents. We highly recommend Beth’s place at Anderson Island!

I hesitate to reveal how great Carl's place is because I don't want it to become so popular that it becomes hard for me to book. The setting is spectacular. If you like to cook, the kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans everything you need. There are also basic staples that renters can use. If you don't like to cook, a lakeside restaurant is a short walk from Carl's. The restaurant is currently open Wed- Sun. We went on a couple of short hikes that were close by. Millersylvania Park is about a 15 min. drive. We also enjoyed seeing the Monarch Butterfly Sculpture Garden. Lots of outdoor art and a fun area for kids (or adults) to play in. I had some questions for Carl and he always responded quickly and clearly. Carl and Sue make available everything that the renter might forget to bring: Toothbrushes, Q-tips, shampoo, etc. Did I mention the jar of chocolates? We are not fishing enthusiasts, but it looks like that could be fun. Carl also has kayaks & life vests.

What a perfect peaceful place to getaway. We so enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Aimee and Carlos were very kind and left us nice welcoming gifts! (Thank you!) The view is amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a great time at our last minute getaway to Jeff’s place. The place was clean and peaceful, with great views of the mountains. Jeff was very responsive and friendly. The place got quite warm at night and during the day, so I’m glad it wasn’t any hotter while we were there. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable and in general we loved our stay!

This place has been very well kept up and one of the cleaner Airbnbs I’ve been in. The area is beautiful and quiet. The only issue with the area was one of the neighbors doesn’t keep their place as well maintained and has an RV parked out front. But, there is nothing that can be done about that and it was communicated to me that it was there a little before checking in. Lastly, Mish was a great host and communicated wonderfully.

What a beautiful cabin and location! My kids loved watching the koi in the pond and we all loved being close to the lake. Beautiful views and super comfortable! Definitely would recommend.

One of the best vacation rentals I've stayed at in 10 years. Turning onto the driveway was a little tricky, but the homes is stunning. Newly renovated with tasteful furniture and decor, comfortable beds, an epic couch with a huge tv upstairs and a very private back deck with an easy to use fire pit, BBQ and dining table. Highly recommend and will be booking again.
