Treehouse holiday rentals in Tabanan Regency

We absolutely loved the treehouse. such a special place to stay. Well maintained and with an outdoor bathroom. Beautiful views over the rice fields surrounding it. The restaurant in the hotel opposite was also good and the massage there as well. If you are looking to unwind a little bit, this place is for you! Thank you very much for having us :)

This was the last place we stayed in Bali and it was by far our favorite place. Not only is the accommodation phenomenal and beautiful, with a great view of the waterfall from the rooms, but it has a tree-house feel and is so unique. We saw a lot of wildlife, but were never pestered by anything (bugs, geckos, etc weren't a bother). But importantly, the staff were the kindest, most helpful and most accommodating staff that we had experienced in Bali. We enjoyed every meal that we had in the restaurant, and the staff are lovely to visit with. There are several recommended activities, where transportation was arranged. We have already recommended our friends and family to stay here, if they visit Bali. Thank you, Gumi Ayu! ♡

Kadek and his family were the loveliest hosts. Very responsive and helpful. The breakfast was divine. The level of care put into the tree house and the luscious garden and secluded pool is unreal. Thank you !

We loved our stay in the treehouse with Firefly, all the staff are super friendly and proactive in helping you out. The treehouse had its own charm, with it being half outdoors, especially the living room (which on my part I had no fully noticed from the photos on the listing but that was my fault) but otherwise it was a lovely stay, there are mosquito nets and fan so you won't get too hot or get bitten by mosquitos in the night. We also loved the cats in Firefly ecolodge, will definitely come back and stay again if we are ever in Ubud. And shout out to the staff Putu, she was lovely and welcoming :)

Amazing view and a huge place, with lovely staff.

we stayed one night at gede’s treehouse and wished we could have stayed longer! we didn’t know about nyepi day prior to our travels and had to cancel one of our night stays as leaving the house is not permitted. Gede was super responsive and allowed us to receive a refund for the night we had to cancel last minute. It was very dark and we did struggle to find the entrance initially. after calling gede he helped us locate the path and we entered the most magical walkway to the treehouse. we also had help from a lady (apologies we can’t remember her name) but she was so helpful and carried my VERY heavy suitcase for us. the treehouse is SO SO beautiful - we sat and watched fireflies on the patio and listened to nature under a fantastic starlight sky surrounded by rice fields. we sprayed ourselves with soffel and were not bitten at all!!! the bed is so comfy and the outdoor shower is incredible - best hot water we had in bali. thank you so much gede we want to come back ❤️

This accommodation was the last stop from our trip, because we wanted to really relax the last few days and it was just the perfect stay for it! The surrounding is so calm and green, if you lay at the pool you can listen to the nature and the river right next to it and just forget everything else. It was really amazing. Furthermore the house is absolutely stunning & clean. As well Outstanding was the friendliness of the people, even for anyways friendly Indonesians. You‘ll arrange everything with Wayan. She’s always near by, easy to reach out to and fulfills every wish and as well as every other member of the team she’s really remarkable kind. All in all 10/10. no negative feedback to give. :)

I don’t know what else to say but our stay here was one of the best we have ever had on Airbnb—I can’t recommend it enough! The treehouse is so unique and fun, the views breathtaking (maybe even otherworldly!), and the service and food were phenomenal. Every detail was thought through, and it was such a peaceful reprieve from the crowds and the hustling of other cities like Ubud and Uluwatu. Definitely the highlight of our trip in Bali!

Fantastic stay at the umatreehouse! Enjoyed sitting in the hammock, swimming, and listening to the critters outside. Breakfast was great and the staff were helpful in providing recommendations for dinner (Somi Bali Restaurant).

Absolutely beautiful little haven - slightly down a nowhere road - but the best surprise when you do get in - little escape and would of liked to stay for longer - Gojek did work fine in the area so stopped me from doing nothing - and the breakfast was one of the best I had in any hotel in Bali - I was there for 6 weeks. Experience to be within nature :)

Treehouse in the rain forest what a dream we stayed! We absolutely loved the stay and the view was amazing. The breakfast provided was outstanding and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We had a very late arrival and there was not any problem checking into the stay. Def recommend!

Incredible place, view is amazing , deck is a great place to read or do yoga. The room and bathroom are clean and very unique in the best way. The people who work there are gracious and so helpful. Best place we have stayed .

This Airbnb was just lovely! The lodge was so pretty and comfortable. In the whole hotel was such a good atmosphere and everyone was really kind and helpful. The pool is a great refresher on hot days and the view from the balcony on the river is nice - also really enjoyable from the hammock. The breakfast was also really good and for dinner we got great suggestions. We booked a massage which was such a great and relaxing experience in this ambient. We can only recommend this Airbnb and would totally come back again!

Everything was made with a lot of love and above all very sustainable! You get a glass bottle that you can refill at any time. A little oasis in the Jungle. If you want, you can open the roof of your treehouse and sleep outdoors. Fantastic!! Melasti beach is close by.

Yudha made the checking in & out process so easy, such a friendly and welcoming person! The tree house was so dreamy, spacious, comfortable, close to so many restaurants and shops! I loved my stay at the tree house and would love to come back. The amenities were amazing!

Villa perfect for a couple. Surroundings were beautiful as in the heart of a rice field. Outdoor shower is quite niche and really nice. Annette's staff were nice and provided us with fruit every day and had given us coffee tea butter jam honey and eggs. Is about a 30 minute drive from Ubud. Shout out to Wayan the driver who was helpful and informative and took time to show us round some of the tourist spots. Overall great experience and would highly recommend especially if you want a more peaceful surrounding

Hidden paradise on a cliff — peaceful, private, and full of charm stunning views, and cozy corners perfect for slow mornings. The staff were incredibly kind and thoughtful, making the stay feel extra special.

Was welcome with great consideration and kindness. All the workers were so helpful and had a welcoming attitude. Every morning I was greeted with a smile and even received texts as I often ordered dinner. I had a lot of little issues happening with a cancelled flight, and I was so lucky that they were able to accommodate the changes. I met the owners as well and they were amazing humans as well. I would definitely come back again so I can enjoy the place a little more like they freshwater pool with fish:) I was greeted by a little visitor every night but as expected in a bamboo cabin. The portable air con and the mosquito net were magic! Thank you for such an experiential time. Can’t wait to come back.

The stairs are not to be underestimated - definitely backpacks only here but the views are worth it. Great location amongst the jungle and a short walk to the beach and restaurants.

What a wonderful accommodation! It is even more beautiful in person. The whole property has a chill and relaxed vibe. Lots of seating comfy seating area where you can read a book or just sip on your fresh fruit juice and listen to the sounds of the nature around you. I’ve booked the room on the top floor (level 4) which an experience for sure. Climbing up and down was fun and it’s perfectly pointing towards the west so you can enjoy the sunset view from your bed. The bed was very comfy, he shared bathroom was always clean and with hot water. Since I only stayed for a night as my last stop in Ubud I also opted for a massage which was excellent. And if you are hungry they offer some food options - I tried a couple for dinner and also for breakfast and everything was very tasty. Lastly the staff working there is really kind and always ready to accommodate any requests you might have. If you are seeking an adventurous experience do book a night or three here :)

We stayed at The Writer’s Treehouse for four nights — and left feeling like we’d been away for weeks. This isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an invitation to slow down and breathe in nature. The treehouse itself is tucked beneath a giant tree, surrounded by dense jungle and birdsong. It’s beautifully rustic, modern yet minimal. From the moment we arrived, we felt held by the space. Mark and Narina have created something incredibly special here, and the local family supporting the experience (especially Sudana and Kadek) were kind, attentive, and generous with their time. From fresh coconuts and homemade banana bread on arrival, to outdoor showers fed by bamboo pipes, and the perfect canopy to offer shade from sun— it’s hard to describe just how replenishing it all felt. Even the smallest moments, like sketching in the garden or listening to the dawn chorus, became meaningful. We'd love to come back, and hope to.
