thankful for the host's hospitality and kindness. 🙏🏻 the place was as described and we had a comfortable stay. the property was in a quiet neighborhood and there were lots of plants and trees around. lots of warung around and there's a restaurant (Kalamansi) nearby as well. we didn't get to use the kitchen since we dined out a lot but drinking water was provided. the semi-outdoor bath was nice but expect that there will be bugs especially at night, so keep all doors closed. the place was big enough already for me and my partner as it had a "mini" living room. we got to work but the wifi fluctuates every now and then. overall, a good find! we didn't get to explore Sanur but we did visit the nearby Bali Zoo and we also managed to go snorkling in the Blue Lagoon and a quick side trip to Bias Tugel beach! thanks again for being part of our experience. 💖

The stay was perfect. The place is a paradise, surrounded by rice fields with lots of greenery. Ideal for those who do not want to go to Canggu or Uluwatu and prefer a more relaxed stay close to nature. You need a car or motorcycle if or if you want to absolutely everything, luckily with grab is super easy. Also the owner sells food and drinks that are very useful when you do not plan to go to the ubud center by car (1 hour). We loved being away from the center, surrounded by nature. The house is just like the photos and even better, and communication with the owners to tidy up food, activities and breakfast is super easy. About the noise of animals that other guests comment, it is fixed with simply plugs. The only change I would ask for is to improve the pressure of the showers. It didn't get very hot either. I would definitely recommend this place

We loved our stay in Bali! The outdoor living area and pool were wonderful, the staff was very hospitable with amazing food and service, and it was just a quick walk to the beach to watch the surfers.

We had a great stay here for 1 month. Check-in in the middle of the night was no problem and the hosts welcomed us super nicely. The kitchen is also great and if anything is missing it was immediately concerned by the hosts. Only the chickens right next door were a little disturbing in the early morning hours as well as for working but otherwise we had a wonderful stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at this villa in Sanur with our family of five (three kids aged 6–11). The location is absolutely unbeatable—just a short stroll to the beach via a nearby resort, and only minutes from great restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets. It’s close to everything but tucked away behind a secure gate, which made it feel peaceful, safe, and much more spacious than other places we’ve stayed. The villa itself is beautiful—modern, luxurious, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms were cool and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our kids spent hours in the pool every day, which was such a welcome retreat from the Bali heat. We loved relaxing in the shaded outdoor cabana while watching them swim and play. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, and the cleaning staff were friendly and did a great job throughout our stay. Highly recommend—this place was a real highlight of our trip!

We had such a great time with our family! You immediately feel at home due to the cozy decor. The view over the rice fields is just beautiful! The bedrooms are fine. We were not bothered by traffic. We had massages done a few times, Awan took care of that. It all went well. Every day, Awan made a great breakfast of your choice. We all liked it. Awan speaks enough English for the necessary communication. The supermarket across the street is very convenient, so is the simple restaurant at 20 meters. We also regularly ordered food through Grab. It was a first introduction to Asia for a few of us. Due to the villa, that first impression is great!!! We had a truly beautiful and peaceful stay at The Hidden Well in Medewi. The location is perfect—tucked away right on the beach, offering a tranquil escape while still being close to town and the famous surf breaks. The villa had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, and we loved that there were great restaurants just a short walk or drive away. A special thanks to the wonderful local family who helps run the property—they really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for throughout our time there. We highly recommend joining the cooking class and buffalo walk—both were such unique and memorable experiences. Narina has also done an incredible job organizing everything with clear, detailed information that made everything so easy.

Tucked away in the tranquil hills of Sukasada, this villa offered the perfect sanctuary for deep inner work and self-exploration. With sweeping views of the ocean through a canopy of trees, and the cleanest environment I’ve experienced in Bali, it supported clarity and presence. The bed was spacious, the bathrooms large with hot water, and fresh air flowed through the space. Drinking water was delivered regularly—even though the tap water here is safe. The staff quietly maintained everything, changing sheets and keeping the villa pristine. The grounds were alive with flowering plants, and the sound of a river below added to the calm. Nearby waterfalls offered immersion in nature, while local hotels and resorts provided places to eat or be social. This wasn’t just a stay—it was a portal into presence, purpose, and the deeper layers of myself. It quietly held me through a season of grief, becoming part of the foundation beneath Tear of Hope.

Very good stay at this Villa. A total and friendly change of scenery for a beautiful arrival on the island of Bali. Doni, Claudia and all the staff are very nice and give lots of good advice and tips. More than perfect environment with pool and relaxation area, jungle and small villas. Unobstructed view of the beach and manicured beautiful garden. You can view the fishermen tending to their boats and nets, and beyond that watch the surfers ride the waves. Kadek and his staff had excellent customer service skills. They arrange my pickup from another airbnb, and my airport drop off. On time and on a comfortable ride. They did my laundry, scheduled my in house massage, delivered my rental scooter, and served breakfast all for a fair price. This Batu Kayu hut completely has all you need. Two floors and lots of room. Two showers one indoor and the other outdoor. Elegant decor tastefully done. Premises inside and out are clean. Little things added a special touch….like bug protector spray in every room, ear plugs, closet freshener, flowers, and universal electrical converters were provided. I wish I could post pictures. Because this place is full of charm and enchantment.

I don't have words because this villa is simply sensational. Reviewers in the guest notebook have written this "best villa", and I now think so when I return and stay in other villas. It's fantastic. Beautifully finished, every detail of decoration, Balinese wood, beautiful sofas and pillows, captivating smell, incense, frogs, duck quacking, gecko sounds, wonderful atmosphere. Pool, rooms, all - great! Very friendly and helpful. There will be a few restaurants in the area, but it is generally far from the shops. Even so, we walked to Warung and the store. Everything can be ordered - food, driver to Ubud, to the store. Service daily for breakfast brings toast, eggs and delicious fruit. Drinking water, coffee and tea are provided. You can walk around the area in the Balinese countryside and meet ducks, watch the rice terraces or go to the spa. I wholeheartedly recommend Shanti Villa for a minimum of a week, because you'll regret leaving it less. 100% recommended!!!

I ended my Bali holiday with 4 nights of sleep at Jane's. She and her housekeeper Made are very kind and helpful. From nice tips, to laundry service and late check out. And Jane also arranged a nice driver. The villa has many personal details and a great nice swimming pool (including turtle :) I liked Saba Beach because it is a little less crowded. Local residents playing football and flying kites on the beach, which is fun to experience. The visit to the adjacent turtle sanctuary was one of my most beautiful island experiences. Flamingo Beach club is nearby and nice for a drink with beautiful views. Bring earplugs, that's nice for the night, sometimes there is a little more noise from the party at the neighbors. I would stay with Jane again.

Kusfarm is beautiful and getting to walk in the garden was so dreamy and grounding. I did get woken up early one morning by what seemed to be ceremonial music, and my neighbors were a bit loud (as these buildings were a bit close together, and the walls are made of wood.) However, everything else was absolutely fantastic at KusFarm! And the driver that I was connected with through Kusfarm made my stay absolutely worthwhile! He took me to some really lovely, local spots. I almost forgot to mention how amazing the masseuse was! She was so sweet and it was so amazing to get a massage from her. She is so talented! All in all, I would go back again! Thanks Kusfarm!!!

Loved this stay. If you want something peaceful and relaxing than look no further. place was clean, pool was good and some of the activities you can do through the hotel are great. The location is a little out the way but the hotel offers a range of ways to get around if need be. All in all it was a lovely stay.

Really nice for a few days in Canggu! Affti is very kind and helpful. Only thing I'd say is please make airconditioning colder because it was still so hot! Would reccomend and come back <3

I found my second family here, I spent three amazing days with Santi and Mede. The view is just magic, the food is great, the weather is cool so you can breath! The only sounds you will hear are from birds and animals, so relaxing. Go, you will love it!

I had an amazing time at Sunset Meadow! The cottage was cozy and beautifully designed, with super cute views on the horses in the paddock🐴. It was so peaceful, yet close enough to explore the local restaurants and beach. The team was super friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. I stayed one night at Salty Cowboy Cottages – Silver Creek, and it was absolutely perfect. The property combines barefoot luxury with beautifully modified antique joglo traditional houses that feel both luxurious and homey. The peaceful setting connects you to nature, and the horses and stables add a unique charm, even if you’re not a horse lover. The stables are impeccably clean, reflecting the overall hygiene and care at the cottages. The house had everything I needed: instant hot water, a perfectly clean pool, an incredibly comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning, two cold Bintangs in the fridge, a kitchenette, and a water dispenser with hot and cold options. Every detail felt thoughtful and well-executed. Special thanks to the Salty Cowboy Team for creating such a peaceful, unique, and luxurious retreat. Highly recommend for anyone seeking comfort, nature, and a truly special stay!
