Lorna was great. The house was spotless, well stocked and well laid out. A nice deck and lots of utensils. A really nice surprise!

John and Willemijn were very accommodating, respond very quickly and were helpful mentioning extra tips about the town. Place was super cute and cozy! Loved my stay!

The house, and yard were so beautiful and were perfect for me and my family for a week stay. Nadina had all the information we needed and we had zero issues all week. I will definitely be back!

Laura’s home was exactly as described, very clean and had all the amenities you need. It is in a beautiful picturesque bay with incredible views - so peaceful and a great place to recharge. There are several options to enjoy the outdoors from a screened sunroom to an outdoor deck to chairs on the dock or around the fire pit. We made a day trip to Louisbourg Fort which is very close by and definitely worth the drive. I would highly recommend this Airbnb. Thanks Laura!

Beautiful area. Scenic. Minutes away from all essentials. Very clean upon arrival. Stayed in late May so the weather wasn't the best. Unfortunately couldn't utilize the outdoor firepit for that reason. We did enjoy the indoor pool several times which was very nice. Had everything we needed for our week long stay. The beds are on the firm side, which I prefer. Kitchen is a bit small but functional. I was able to prepare a nice sheppards pie for us and our company without issues using the built in electic stove top. We will definitely book here again the next time we are in Sydney visiting family!!

Had a wonderful time celebrating a family birthday. Kids stayed in the pool most of our visit, it was a huge plus. Beautiful property, enjoyed a fire by the water. Plenty of space and all kitchen amenities were there. Would absolutely recommend.

It is hard to imagine a b&b host doing a better job than Cynthia and John did. They also keep a really nice home. It is also a large home. It has nice land around it and it's at the end of the small road. I'm very thankful to have booked with them.

What a beautiful week we had at this perfect little cottage! We enjoyed our time so much and will be sure to come back if we ever get the chance. Gabarus is pretty and sleepy and we had the best time exploring the surroundings, just behind the cottage, as well as the public Gull Cove Trail nearly. We took advantage of the beautiful fire place to cozy up inside, enjoyed a bonfire outside and even took a quick dip in the sea at the beach close by. The bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen where clean, cozy and more modern than you would expect them to be in a remote little cottage like this. Thank you so much for the amazing stay!

We had a fantastic stay! The space was beautifully decorated and spotless. You guys went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The location was perfect for exploring and for our morning walks. We'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends. The home is perfect for a large family vacation. Aaron's place is well equipped for an overnight stay or even a week . VALUE for money this place gets 10 stars . We've been travelling Nova Scotia from Australia for 2 weeks and this by far has been the best value . Aaron's mum, who we accidentally got to me is a real gem . she's the cleaner and a legend. Loved the Lollies too . (my waist not so much) thanks Aaron .

We had such a great time! Loved being able to walk to the waterfront (caught the northern lights there one night!) As well as to town. The Baddeck Gathering Ceilidh was a highlight of our trip. Our group appreciated the multiple methods of caffeination offered at the cottage; the kitchen was well equipped, and our beds were very comfy! Thanks again!

Great host! We stayed for work to conduct some field work in the area and it was always great returning back to see all the animals and feed some goats! Beautiful property and right in nature! Kim was a great host and recommended a challenging, but rewarding hike in the area that leads to a beautiful vista and some exciting finds!

Lori’s place is ideally situated for exploring Baddeck on foot. There’s a coffee shop right next door, and all the restaurants and shops are just a short walk away. I loved my morning runs along the waterfront, taking in the fantastic views of Baddeck. The Airbnb is clean and cozy, and Lori kindly left us a bottle of wine and some treats to enjoy. Baddeck is a perfect base for discovering the beautiful trails of Cape Breton!
