If you’re tired of staying in unrealistically glamorous ‘shacks’ then Halcyon Days will suit you down to a tee. It’s stylish, comfortable, relaxed and a reminder that less is sometimes absolutely perfect. We were there when the weather was pretty awful but we had views of the water from inside, gorgeous gums to look through and when the sun came out a lovely walk around the bay that was easy to access. We’d stay again in a heartbeat.

The Sea Keeper is a lovely little cottage with everything you need for a great holiday in the area. The location is 10/10 for exploring the east coast and only wish we had based ourselves longer there. As far as the town of Bicheno, the cottage is incredibly central, allowing us to walk everywhere. A beautiful fireplace, cosy living area, very comfy beds and a well stocked kitchen (including ground coffee and machine!) just topped it off! Highly recommend

Perfect for our 10 night stay as it had a fully functioning kitchen plus a washing machine, so suited our needs perfectly. Not far from the airport and about a 20 minute drive into Hobart city. The view was stunning looking out over the fields and waterways which was lovely to sit on the verandah looking out. There was a BBQ which we used plus we had access to Netflix & Prime, which was great. It was pretty private as you are set back up the hill away from the main house. Would definitely stay again.

Joe’s place was everything it said in the description and more. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, homely and inviting. The wood heater was fantastic and kept the house warm day and night. The kitchen had literally everything you could want and the bathroom was lovely! The water was only 25m from the door, bird life and we even had an Aurora! We will come and stay again for sure.

The house was perfect for a lovely relaxing week away with a young family. The fully fenced backyard overlooking the reserve was a perfect backdrop to enjoy the peace and quiet of Scamander. We walked to the river each day, played on the large open space outside the back fence. The fireplace was a nice change of pace. Thanks for having us

Such a beautiful place. Very comfortable, warm and relaxing. The views were amazing, the sunrises next level. Facilities were great. Beds very comfy. Gardens were so pretty. Kitchen easy to use. Lounge room and woodfire so warm and cosy. A lovely place to spend Mother's day weekend. Thank you

Deborah is an amazing host; communication was swift, helpful and kind! The house is clean, modern, functional and fun. The views are stunning and the beach access was fun for both younger guests and the adults, oh and our four legged friend. To be honest, I've never stayed in an airbnb that was so well equipped as this one. There were enough pots and pans, cutlery, utensils, cleaning products, toastie machine, condiments, cereals... the list was endless. It was amazing!! We had a wonderful stay. The tranquility was joyful. We will be back again. Thank you so much Deb!!

We were lucky enough that there was a last minute booking available, my partner and I were camping and in desperate need of a refresh. The cottage was the perfect place to reset while also still feeling as if we were out in the open as we were surrounded by breathtaking scenery and the most adorable animals. We felt very welcomed as Michelle showed us around the home and gave fantastic recommendations for food and activities in the area when we checked in, and she gave us plenty of privacy for our stay. The cottage is stocked with plenty of furnishings and accessories to make it feel like a home away from home, and the fresh milk left for us in the fridge was delicious. Thank you so much for the most relaxing stay and we will definitely book again when we come back to Tassie 😊

Ross is the most beautiful village to unwind. Great cafe. The house was lovely & warm. Great space in beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend.

We loved it. It felt like arriving at home. The garden is magnificient, the plants inside are stunning. The kitchen is extremely well equipped to cook. The fire place is gorgeous. We have a great time.

Chantelle was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. I had a lot of questions, both for myself and on behalf of the group. Chantelle was always quick to respond and happy to assist. Her communication was excellent, and she was flexible with our check-in times, which really helped accommodate our busy schedule. The house itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It was so well-equipped, down to all the essentials, which made staying in really enjoyable and convenient. I’d definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Tassie.☺️

Wow what an amazing home with a luxurious feel. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more. The magnesium pool was clean and warm and lovely to relax in. The bedrooms were extra comfy and perfect for our party of 4 with a double or queen bed each! Plus three bathrooms between us. Thankyou for a great base to explore the Bay of Fires and Halls Falls. It was just perfect 🙏

Absolutely gorgeous home, and perfect for a long weekend (or longer) with friends or family. Fantastically equipped kitchen, comfortable and warm rooms, incredible views (including from the bathtub). We went for a rainy winter stay with four adults and three children and didn't mind not leaving the house one bit (apart from the occasional walk down to what felt like a private beach, with no-one else around). Can't wait to go back. Thank you!

Mieke’s place was warm and beautiful! The view from the deck area was stunning and all the nature, you definitely didn’t feel like you were 5min away from the CBD. It was fantastic for doggies and felt very safe and secure. Would 1000% recommend this cozy place!

I choose Bronwen’s property as she and the property had amazing reviews, location, pet friendly, very reasonable cost and wonderful garden. It was above and beyond any of this. Bronwen has an amazing attention to detail. Everything you need is here. She has so many extras & special touches (fresh eggs, herbs, flowers, choccies, homemade cookies, doggy treats just to name a few) Her pup Tazzie and fur buddy, Emmett were so fun for my pups to play with in her large, well established, fully fenced, gorgeous garden Lovely comfy bed with beautiful light filled spaces We loved being able to drive into the private garage, unpack under cover / secure and walk on into the house. The bathroom is large and beautiful. Amazing shower Even though it was cooler weather, the heat pump kept the house so cosy, I didn’t need to light the wood fire. We can’t wait to come back again, when we’re next down on the Tasman Peninsula Thanku Bronwen, Tazzie and Emmett for welcoming & spoiling us

This place was perfect for me and my friends! Had everything we needed and an amazing view. Was a very tidy place and the kitchen is well equipped with utensils. I would recommend this place to everyone. I will say there is a kangaroo painting on the wall that freaked me out a little lol

Narelle' Swansea Seaside Shack was absolutely fantastic. The yard was private and immaculately kept. The inside undercover BBQ was a great idea as well as the fire pit for some chill out time outside. Narelle was so friendly to deal with. We will definitely be coming back. The TV reception is excellent and high quality. Being able to access our own Netflix & Foxtel was also a bonus. A great location for meeting up with family and entertaining.
