Family-friendly holiday rentals in Svoronata

We had an amazing week at the end of May, the pool and view are just incredible and even better than they look in the pictures. Having a local shop and restaurants within walking distance was a complete bonus too. Would recommend boho for breakfast, Trapazaki bar and restaurant for food or a few drinks and Gefri (we didn’t try any others close by). Lovely beaches are also within a 10 minute drive. The air con is also super effective if you’re worried about the heat.

We had a wonderful stay Elina! Villa was comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The pool was lovely. We enjoyed every moment & felt right at home. We would stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommended! We did not hire a car but would recommend doing so if wanting to venture around the island. Taxis are easily available if needed for shorter trips. Plenty of mini-markets and restaurants within a 25 minute walk. Received plenty of info and further support via email prior to arrival and our host was available to answer any queries during the stay via phone messaging app.

We had the most fantastic week in Kefalonia at this stunning villa. Spyrion was the best host we have had on AirBNB and went above and beyond to make our stay super easy and comfortable. The villa is very private, overlooking a beach and has beautiful sunsets. The villa had comfortable beds, plenty of towels, coffee and some unexpected nibbles on arrival. We would highly recommend and would love to return.

This was our second stay here and we knew what to expect. The changes made since our last stay were exceptional. A warm welcome, a responsive host who made every effort possible to ensure our stay was exceptional. Would highly recommend staying here

Absolutely amazing stay at Villa Blue! My family spent 2 fantastic weeks at this beautiful property & it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning panoramic view across the pool & the most amazing place to enjoy the beautiful sunrise & sunsets The villa itself was immaculate & thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need from kitchen essentials to pool towels, wifi & BBQ. The layout was spacious & comfortable, plus friendly cleaner every few days We all enjoyed the great pool Our hosts were fantastic, incredibly responsive & attentive, always just a message away & helped with local recommendations. Their hospitality was spot on. Meeting us on arrival to direct us to the villa was very helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better villa or base to explore Kefalonia. The apartment was simply awesome and is even better than in the photos! The outdoor area is fantastic and the view of the sea is so great! We were received in a very friendly manner and felt right at home. When we arrived, milk, fruits, cheese, ham, Greek yogurt & water were in the fridge! In addition, fresh rolls & honey were there. We were very pleased about that! The apartment is huge and clean. In addition, it is very well equipped and we lacked nothing!!! The location is great too. It's not far to Lixouri on foot! Communication with the landlords was also great! We can recommend the apartment 100%! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING🫶!

Sofia is an exceptional hostess with excellent communication, very kind and generous, always ready to help. From the very first moment she made sure we were comfortable and went the extra mile to welcome us and answer our every question. The house is very well positioned near amazing beaches, restaurants and in a beautiful location surrounded by olive trees and a vineyard. The house has a modern feeling, is spacious with a glorious spacious balcony on the first floor, perfect for outdoors dinning and stars gazing in the evening (there are no lights around). The house is generously equipped clearly for use by owner. We loved Kefalonia with it’s natural beauty and so many places to visit and the house made our vacation a positive experience!

Very responsive host ,location was perfect for Myrtos beach and nearby amenities . Driving in this part of the island is also good, with reasonably good roads.

The accommodation met expectations, no luxury, but clean, kitchen equipped with everything you need for your stay. The pool is a bonus, it could be cleaner, but it was before the season, so it will definitely be in better condition in the season, as well as the pool area. Great attitude of the host family.

Heaven on earth!!..Breathtaking views..so peaceful & surrounded by nature..A bright light pristine space indoors & outdoors is a space to chill & soak in the views for hours..Can’t rate it highly enough..& Natalie is wonderful & so helpful..We just fell in love with it!..

From pre-arrival to the pointof leaving, Varvara was helpful, responsive, attentive and informative. Easter was imminent and a multitude of easter gifts were left for us on the table, as well as milk, orange juice and water in the fridge. The apartment had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday to the full. It really is in an ideal location, close to all amenities. We would heartily recommend this stay for anyone. We would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Argostoli.

Wow! This place is truly magical. Breathtaking views, a gorgeous pool terrace, spacious & comfortable interiors- All located in a beautiful village in the hills, conveniently located 10 mins drive from stunning beaches. Athina was so helpful with local knowledge & places to see, we had a superb time as a family of 8. She left a welcome pack of local fruit & veg aswell as honey, jam & wine, cheeses & butter. We felt so welcome and at home. There’s a mini market 5 mins walk away with all the basics & larger shops in small towns in 15 mins drive. Delicious & friendly restaurants & tavernas within 15 mins. The area is easy to drive around. Top 3 hot spots: Vouti beach/ Taverna, Assos & Fteri beach on the water taxi. My 10 year old loved feeding the village cats & seeing the goats walk past with their bells. Great places to swim, snorkel & jump off rocks - The water is the most turquoise I have ever seen! Forever memories made. This house, Kefalonia & Nifi has stolen our hearts.

The hosts were so lovely and helpful. They very kindly gave us a welcome hamper of food for our first morning and gave us early check-in and late check-out. They even gave us a hamper with nappies and some supplies for the baby which was so kind and thoughtful. The villa is beautiful, clean and is even nicer than the photos can show. We hired a car as there isn't a huge amount in the immediate area but it's so peaceful and it's really easy to get taxi's if you don't have a car. We will definitely book again on our next visit to Kefalonia. Thank you again x

The place was really fantastic, everything is super clean and exactly as described. The view from the terrace is really fantastic and we would come back any time! A single drawback is that you can definitely hear “neighbors” in the apartment next door quite loudly if they are still active late at night. Of course, the host can't do anything about that and the accommodation itself is highly recommended!

Wonderful and peaceful place. It was clean and tidy. Zicos was very kind to us, leaving some welcoming fruit and helping with tips for beaches, villages and the necessary hot-spots to enjoy Ithaki. Sunrises and sunsets in the terrace looking at Cefalonia were overwhelming and made us stay at the place more than we thought. We’ll repeat for sure.

The island of Cephalonia is worth the trip. Our stay at Lambros made the vacation a perfect travel experience. The actual and brilliant hostess on site is Maria, the mother of Lambros. She lives next door and receives and accompanies the guests with great warmth throughout the entire period of the stay. She spoiled us with cake and jam and provided us with fresh laundry and helpful tips. The kitchen is very well equipped and the large terrace overlooking the sea is the heart of the accommodation. On the upper floor are two small bedrooms with not quite as comfortable spring mattresses. The house is easily accessible by (rental) car and the village of Farsa, conveniently located not far from Argostoli, is a good starting point for excursions. In summary, a highly recommended place to stay that is worth visiting again. We really found it hard to say goodbye. Thanks Maria for your warmth❤️!

A great, peaceful place. Here in late June- early July but always able to get a lounger by the pool. Lassi only 10mins walk away, Argostolli also close. The family who run the place could not be more helpful. They helped us so much when our flight home was cancelled.

This was such a gorgeous stay, I loved everything about it. Looks exactly like the photos but the photos don’t do justice to just how gorgeous the house and its premises are. The pool was maybe the cleanest I have ever seen in any, even 5 star hotel, the water just pristine and silky. Being able to walk down to the swimming stairs and swim in the crystal clear sea was amazing. When the pillows I slept in during my first night were a bit too high, the owner immediately organised a lower pillow for me which was perfect. I can wholeheartedly recommend Stella di Mare, and I hope to return next year!

Wow wow wow. We had the BEST stay in the most breathtaking and idyllic location. We were in all of the view from the pool and the Terrace. It was amazing to be able to pick our own fruit from the beautiful gardens….apricots, plums and lemons!! The hosts were super helpful and discreet, respecting our privacy but equally available and in communication when needed. The pool was immaculate, cleaned regularly and just perfect. The villa had everything we needed and more… treats left for us and lots of practical items left also like bin bags and tin foil!! All it all it was a dream. We’re looking at booking next year. If you want isolation, perfection and tranquility you can’t beat Villa Serenity.

We had a fantastic two week stay at Villa Penelope. The villa is situated towards the bottom of a windy road (car necessary!) about 2km from Spartia, a lovely village with a fantastic taverna and two well-stocked supermarkets (we recommend the freddo cappuccinos from Marina’s!). The villa itself is idyllic - the outside area is one of the best we’ve seen (and we’ve been to Greece upwards of ten times!) — a BBQ, ample comfortable seating areas in the shade and a beautiful large pool with jacuzzi jets. So much greenery too! The best part is the short 3-4 minute walk to a rock formation with access to the sea, plus free sun-beds and umbrellas (and great snorkelling). Inside, the villa is well-stocked with everything you need — comfy beds, loads of storage and great showers. The housekeepers are non-intrusive, coming every four days so you can plan to head out and leave them to it. Nearby, there are some fantastic tavernas. We recommend Denis, Veremente, The Olive Lounge. 10/10!

We had a wonderful stay - even if the weather unfortunately threw a spanner in the works. Dina is an incredibly warm hostess, we felt totally comfortable from the beginning! ✨🦋 The apartment was super clean, the kitchen very well equipped and the smart TV was really worth its weight in gold in rainy weather. The outdoor area with the beautiful garden furniture and the pool also looked great – it's a pity that we couldn't use it due to the weather. We were particularly touched by the lovely welcome gift and even a small farewell present - we were really overwhelmed! Thank you, dear Dina, also for your many tips and your cordiality. It was really nice to be your guest - we'd love to come back! ☀️

Family of 4 with 2 teens. One of the best Airbnbs we have had, and we have had some great ones. The house is very charming, traditionally furnished, spotless and everything works. Fresh fruit, local honey and oil (+ tea, coffee, v well equipped kitchen). Beautiful outside space, pristine pool, great views. Easy roll down (need a car) to Argostolli. Good quality, reasonable Taverna very close. Sotiris is a great host. Came from town late in the eve to check us in. Came and cleaned the pool checked the garden. Friendly and and really good recommendations for day trips and restaurants. Highly recommended.

We booked this villa due to a last minute change in our itinerary. Dani reached out right away, and provided us with checkin instructions, local restaurants/shop recommendations, an area guide, etc. It was most helpful. We mistakenly arrived a day early and thankfully Dani was able to accommodate the additional night. She was very responsive, replying almost immediately every time I reached out with questions, concerns. The villa was lovely, clean, well equipped, and those views! Wow! We enjoyed the large private pool every night, and taking our breakfast on the expansive outdoor terrace in the mornings. The villa is located about 5 min drive outside of Argostoli. Set up on a hill side, in a private & quiet area. I would recommend having a car but we also found the villa to be walkable to several lovely restaurants (Sto Psito - highly recommend dining here), Kaminia Beach, Gradaki Beach, a mini market, and several other shops. All in all, we had a wonderful stay & would return. Cheers!
