Three-Bedroom Grandma's House

We discovered in 2019 this precious, over 60-year old traditional farmhouse in Kompong Thom. While dismantle the house, we noticed how emotional the owner was at the prospect of letting her house go. She explained us that it had been built from top to bottom by her late husband shortly after their wedding, when she was fourteen. by knowing this we solemnly made her the promise that we’d rebuild the house exactly as it is at our place in 2020. We decided to call it Yeay House, ‘Grandma's House’.

Roya Khmer House was built in 1992 since I was 2years old. When we look from outside we will see a simple wooden house. Actually, This house is over 30years old and it has some damages. We have repaired and maintenance it for 5months. We keep all external formats remain the same in the past 30years as the Khmer wooden house. Inside the house we design in western interior design. In all unit surrounding by garden views with full set of furnishes and kitchen equipment.

Sok was a perfect host. Je picked us up from the airport and brought us to the original Khmer House in his property, where he also lives. He took care for us and organized a lot for us. Especially the Tuk Tuk driver and Guide for the small Angkor Wat Tour. Thank you so much, Sok. And thank you also for the invitation to your family party and the beer. We had a wounderful time in Siem Reap and Sok‘s Khmer-House.

Royal Family Suite Villa Private Pool

We had a perfect stay. This is by far the best Airbnb experience I ve had so far travelling around. The service had to be the hi light of this stay. The staff catered to our every needs and knew what had to be done even before we asked. Thank you for hosting us. We had an amazing time at the beautiful villa. Thank you for the complimentary birthday cake also and the delicious breakfast! I hope to be back again!

Jean and Lea were very good hosts for us! Were open to communication and very friendly! Communication was quite easy, Jean even sent us a map with places to eat or see something interesting. Lea gave her to taste the delicacies of her own. The place itself was very clean, the cleaning lady came every 2 days. The beds and room were comfortable, the place had a beautiful yard to sit in the evening. The only disadvantage was the far from the center, but it was easy to get to the tuk-tuk. Overall, I liked everything and it was nice to stay in this place.

Ley is incredibly kind The space was spotless and every day cleaning can be done. The sun was tapping on the pool in the morning, which gave it a very pleasant temperature. You can also rent bikes on site so you can easily get around the center. Things to know: the fixtures are reversed (if you want hot water, turn to cold water). Thanks Ley!

We booked this room based on the beautiful photos. We spent three nights. The staff is wonderful, and the new facility is quite interesting, spacious and clean. Because there are two locations in Siem Reap with similar names I was a bit disappointed to find we were not in the city center, as I anticipated, instead about 15 minutes walking. That’s not a big distance but no sidewalks made it less walkable. On call transport got eaisier when I got the Grab app (uber in Cambodia) allowing us to order tuk-tuks which arrived within minutes. Be sure any tours or pre-arranged transport knows which location. Two times our tour driver was a bit late having gone to the city center location first. The room was spacious, the pool steps away. No food or drink available onsite, unless pre-ordered, but a mini-mart 100 m away was easy.
