Holiday home rentals in Susquehanna River

This was an absolutely wonderful experience. The house is unique and conveniently situated for a variety of activities (hiking, wineries, etc.). It's a labor of love and it shows in every thoughtful detail. It was also extremely clean and hospitable, with tons of well labeled light switches.

We had a lovely stay at Chalet on a Hill and Nadine was lovely to work with. House is very private with great views and close drive to Windham where dinner was recommended. The grocery store nearby has everything you need if you want to make the house feel like home for the weekend. We will certainly look to book again.

I was looking for a place to rest and recover and I found it here. Private, quiet and comfortable, the place is perfect. The main bedroom has the tempur-pedic cloud mattress and all of the beds had good new perfect size pillows. This is something I’ve never seen on 10 years of airbnb around the world. And shows the level of care and detail the host has put on this place. Chrissy was a great host, always responsive and proactive on making the stay comfortable. This is one of the best places I’ve stayed.

This is the nice place for family get together in pocono mountains. Very big spacious house with all the amenities, quiet neighborhood. Johanna is very good host and response quickly to all your questions and any other issues. Worth a stay for us and our kids had a lot of fun during Christmas.

Our stay was everything we expected and more. We were in town for a festival and Laura was very informative and welcoming. The design of the space allowed for us to easily spend time together with the kitchen open to the living room. Everything was tastefully done and was equipped with more than we needed. She has thought of everything to make your stay easy. Absolutely loved the makeup towels by the way! Nice touch! If we attend the festival next year, we’d stay here again in a heart beat. Walkable to a lot the town has to offer.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gettysburg Retreat! We loved that we were in walking distance to so many historical landmarks and sightseeing activities. The home was very cozy and perfect to relax in after a day of exploring! We highly recommend this home for a trip to Gettysburg!

The hosts were very through with instruction, very informative. I had no problems with them, communication during stay was admirable, also as stated in her information, if you need extra stuff you will have to get it. The kitchen was superior for our needs, the beds were comfortable and toiletries were well supplied. The area is very calming and beautiful, and I would go back there again.

Ron was great at communicating. The place looked just like the pictures and is a great place to stay . It is out in the middle of the country but very convenient to get to Carlisle or Gettysburg with a 15 to 30 minute drive. We really enjoyed being out in the country.

Had a very nice stay at Sona’s place, perfectly accommodated 9 people and had 2 very nice large gathering areas with big TVs. Everything in the house was very clearly marked and a bunch of amenities were provided. Worth the say!

We so enjoyed our stay at Stew's place! The neighborhood was very attractive with a tree-lined, paved road leading to the property. The driveway entry is lighted and is bordered by stone fencing. 'Cozy Retreat' was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped for our cooking needs. The front porch was very relaxing to talk or to read a good book. Stew was very responsive to our needs and communicated well. We highly recommend staying here on your next trip to PA!

Wanted quiet getaway for wife who lives nature to celebrate birthday. Enough space to house 6 people but felt intimate for her and I. Kitchen was expansive to my wife’s liking, cooked meals on site and made use of BBQ. NBA playoffs is ongoing so I made use of game room, oversized cushions were so comfy; felt like my personal man-cave. Loved open-concept: combining kitchen, dining and living space, covered by wood (non lacquered) paneled walls with high ceiling, gave a modern look to the old cabin theme.

What a GORGEOUS lake house! It exceeded our expectations. The windows are divine and the views out of them? Perfection. We felt right at home in our group of six. Everything was just as we'd hoped and better. Super, comfy, charming, magical space. Stay. Here. Now. (We'll be back!)

Apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable for our family of 4. Property owner was nearby and was friendly and helpful with around town tips. Would have loved if the weather had cooperated more and could have gotten more use of the lake and firepit. Great place to stay when attending a concert at Bethel Woods. Highly recommend

Highly recommended for a family get a way. Everything is up to date. You don’t have to go far to find loads of fun in less than five minutes.

The house is gorgeous and just like the pictures! Everything was clean, organized, well taken care of, and stocked with everything you could need. The view of the lake is beautiful! . RB was very proactive with check-in instructions and going over other important details with me, before our stay. She was very responsive during our stay as well, when we needed help allowing a delivery driver into the gated community. I would definitely stay here again, if I ever find myself back in The Poconos! 12/10 recommend!

Beautiful quiet, spacious and inviting. This clean well maintained and decorated properly has everything you need . We have stayed here twice and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The AC units in each room give quests better choices. The pool no matter what the weather is was enjoyed by all!!

My family and I had a great stay. The house was very spacious and cozy, easy to find, and extremely clean. Susan was very helpful and attentive to our needs. We went snow tubing at Plattekill Mountain which was only 15 mins away, which was perfect because we were able to get back quickly to warm up and enjoy the rest of our evening. I would recommend this house to anyone.
