Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Surrey

A truly beautiful and wonderful house. We enjoyed our stay so much and we were very sorry to leave. The bedrooms and the family space were perfect, as was the kitchen with every amenity possible. We can’t recommend this place enough.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this beautiful home! The house is on a pretty street in the quiet, leafy area of Barnes. It's an easy & quick to walk to the overground station and to all the lovely cafes and restaurants nearby. The garden is pretty and a great retreat for a wine or breakfast & feels quite private - a rarity in London. The house has been refurbished & designed beautifully, it's a treat to return to after a day out in London. Sarah has thought of everything you may need & can even organise a parking permit if you have a car - we got a space right outside each day. If you're thinking about a stay around SW London I'd choose this one. We look forward to staying again.

This is an amazing and beautiful eco property. Ivana and John have spent a lot of time carefully considering so many aspects of their beautiful home. The location is so peaceful. The beautiful aspect across their garden meant you could see wildlife and bunnies and beautiful sunrises. 🌅 All beds were super comfy. The wood burner was cozy. The sofa was great for a family and their TV stereo set up was brilliant. There are ALOT of lights etched to get used to, that create mood lighting in each room and Ivana manages the heating of the property remotely.

We stayed at The Cottage for a friend’s wedding and it accommodated 7 adults and one 6-week baby with ease. The place was so homely with lots of room to relax and chat together. The facilities were great including a really big fridge which was ideal! It feels like a very well-loved home and fitted us perfectly. The cottage felt really private, off the road. Ryan was really quick at responding to messages and really accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay at Coombeswell Cottage. The descent to the vally is adventurous at first, but you get used to it quickly. It only underlines the charm and countryside feel of the place. Secluded in a valley next to the Devil's Punchbowl, Coombeswell Cottage has it all: peace and quiet, lovely views, walks and hikes nearby, and the charming town of Haslemere a stone's throw away. The house itself is cosy and packed with books, antiques and curiosities. The perfect place to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate after a day's walk. To top it all, the easy train connection to London makes Haslemere ideal for country stays combined with a city trip to Britain's capital. A must-do!

What an amazing stay we had ! Perfect distance to all our wedding functions and the family staying thoroughly enjoyed themselves with the space and amenities. Very responsive host & will thoroughly recommend to any friends and family travelling from near or far.

We had an extremely pleasant time during our stay. While booking I didn’t realize that there was no cooking range at the accomodation . We wanted some eggs for breakfast, Miles was extremely helpful. He made some mouth watering scrambled eggs for us. Thank you Miles for that.. really appreciate it . The surrounding place is extremely peaceful and scenic. What a wonderful home Trissie and her family have created! She has such an eye for detail and her pride in the house shines through. We have had an amazing stay, we have not wanted for anything - even the dog was looked after! Nothing short of fabulous and we will be coming again if Trissie will have us!

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at The Old Cooks House. It was cosy, clean and comfortable. The beds were great and we both slept well on all nights. Jackie had left a plethora of goodies for us for breakfast and snacking and she was really helpful in guiding us to places to eat out. It was a lovely break.

This place is so great. We had such a lovely stay recently and were chuffed to have it as our base. Such nice attention to detail both in the house itself and in the communication throughout. Grace made lots of effort to make us feel welcome and at home too which is just what you want. The house is cosey, the garden's beautiful - all of it is great. I fully recommend :)

I had an amazing stay at Nesli and James's place! I genuinely enjoyed my experience. Everything went seamlessly during my short visit. The hosts were incredibly responsive and friendly, making the stay even more pleasant. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the house itself was cozy, tidy, well-equipped, and absolutely spotless. The location was perfect—how could it get better than this? I truly appreciate everything and highly recommend this wonderful place!

The house is comfortable, beautiful and in a quiet area with good connection to central London. Gitana has been aware that all was good. I would definitely recommend it.

Check-in was very easy and the place was great. Peter was an awesome host and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was exactly as advertised and my family really enjoyed staying there.

This is a lovely and comfortable place to stay set in superb countryside. The gardens and facilities are great, and my son and I particularly enjoyed playing on the pool table. It’s definitely a place to revisit and we would recommend it 100 percent.

Such a peaceful stay, it really doesn't feel like you're in London! The accommodation was beautifully decorated and finished to a high standard. I suspect my host may be an interior designer. Absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a little peaceful get away whilst in the heart of London.

Recommended. Four of us spent Christmas, near to family, at this flat. It's a cosy, quiet place a minute's walk from Cobham and Stoke D'Abernon station, with everything we needed. And we were well looked after by Wes.

we were lucky to stumble across this gem due to a last minute cancellation. it was exactly what we were hoping for and more. the location, the cabin, the surroundings were magical and the break from reality we so needed. thank you so much Clare for all your help and for allowing us to see your part of the world in such a perfect way. We had a fabulous time!! Ian and Saundra were wonderful hosts! Very friendly, forthcoming, generous and helpful. The cottage was everything we wanted and had everything we needed for our 2-night stay. There is a great pub a 1-minute walk away and the cute village of Shere is just a 15-min walk away. We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely time at nick’s place, walkable to the East Putney + Putney stations. The room was comfortable for a short stay and nick + his cats were friendly and welcoming to us 🐈🐈‍⬛🐈.Hope to stay here again ☺️

We had such a wonderful stay at the Cabin and couldn't recommend it more. The cabin itself is so cosy and relaxing with thoughtful extras such as homemade cake and granola. The view from the cabin is beautiful looking out onto a field with horses which was especially special to wake up to and felt very secluded. We especially loved the outdoor bath and enjoying a glass of wine around the fire in the evening. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely beautiful cabin, surroundings and location. The cabin had everything you could need, kettle, tea,fresh coffee, candles, little table ,marshmallows for toasting on the fire pit... outside fairy lights, outdoor table n log chairs were awesome ..soft towels, super comfy large bed, heater, ..waking up and hearing the birds singing and ducks on the lake was so Therapeutic and serene. Our large chill deerhound was so comfy on his bed in the cabin. Clean toilets and lovely shower, great cafe where we ate both mornings vegan and veggie breakfasts ... delicious 😋 Highly recommend and I'm sure we will return again one day. Jonny was lovely and we wish him all the best with his Airbnb adventures ✌️✨🙏

Here's a possible review based on your experience: We recently stayed at Firesyde and had an amazing time. The location was perfect, and the accommodation was exactly what we were looking for - ideal for a couple’s weekend getaway. We loved the sauna and cold plunge - a fantastic way to relax. The little fireplace was a lovely touch, keeping us warm on chilly evenings and allowing us to cook our own food, including the eggs that were kindly gifted to spare us the trip to the supermarket. The suggested hikes in the area were spot on, offering beautiful scenery and great exercise. Highly recommend!

We stayed in Jennifer's cabin and had a lovely few days. The cabin is fantastic, and was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 teenage boys. Everything we needed and we had so much outdoor space including the badminton and bbq areas we used regulary. lovely and private as well. Jennifer met us and was very welcoming. it was perfect for us to explore lots of walks and cycling tracks in the area. would definitely stay again.
