We had an absolutely amazing weekend staying at The Dairy! The farm is set in a beautifully tranquil location a few steps from a trail leading up to Black Down. Louise was a great host, very friendly and responsive, and makes a great homemade granola! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Bronwen is a fantastic host and a warm and friendly person who offers a perfect mix of helpfulness and respect for privacy. The accommodation was ideal for my needs working nearby. It was very quiet and peaceful, full of birdsong, and I felt extremely safe and secure.

This was our second stay at the Barn. We felt even more at home than the first time. It is very private and safe at the same time. Cristina responds to messages through the Airbnb app within minutes. We forgot things at both our stays but Cristina held on to them for us for months until we returned.

We absolutely loved our week at Benny’s place :-)! Amazing views, super peaceful and surrounded by wonderful old oak trees! Also a super comfy and large bed (super king)! Benny and her husband were really friendly, helpful and welcoming, we’d definitely recommend staying here :-)

If you looking for a tranquil, peaceful and country getaway...then this is the perfect place! The entire property is very homely and just simply beautiful. The hosts are wonderful and are on the property if you need them. You have all the privacy you need. I stayed here for 9 nights and could have stayed for another 9!

What a beautiful cabin/shepherds hut and location. I booked a solo weekend getaway and travelled by train from London, getting a taxi from Woking. All easy. Hosts came to say hello and were super friendly and welcoming. I went on a couple of nice walks but could have easily hung around the cabin all weekend. Perfect for solo getaway or as a couple. Kay's place was even better than the pictures (if you can believe it). I booked it for a quiet hen do and it had all the amenities we could think of - most importantly cocktail and champagne glasses! We were able to have barbeque and you can do fun activities nearby such as archery and go to a SPA near Guildford. I will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at short notice. The host Fay couldn’t do enough to help us and gave us plenty of great recommendations. The property was easy to find with great amenities. Looking forward to the next stay

Our stay at Kim's place was excellent. If you are after some peace and quiet, then this place is for you. Kim met us upon arrival, was friendly and very helpful. We couldn't have asked for more and no doubt we will definitely be returning! Raj and Judit

We had a fantastic stay at the Windmill Cabin. As mentioned before the photos really do not do this place justice. The attention to detail, time and quality that has gone into the renovation and decoration of the cabin is commendable. I’m not sure where to start but little things like good quality crockery, a fantastic bathroom and the wooden theme throughout really stood out. Sitting on the terrace, which really is a sun trap from the early afternoon, was just wonderful and of the course the fish fantastic as well. We can’t wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay in the barn — the surroundings were gorgeous, and the barn itself was beautifully appointed and absolutely spotless! Ingela and Nick were amazing, friendly hosts, and nothing was too much trouble. They provided plenty of great recommendations, and as we were attending a wedding nearby, they even helped us arrange an amazing dog-sitter! The space and surroundings where extremely relaxing... it's a pity we only stayed for 3 nights. We will definitely look at booking again if we are in the area.

The Bungalow is a spacious and comfortable home from home in a peaceful yet accessible location. It is extremely well equipped with everything you might need for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended and we would definitely book here again if we were in this area. Thank you, Julie.

Thank you for a really fantastic stay! Guy’s Airbnb is truly exceptional - wonderful garden, beautifully furnished and fully equipped space, set right next to the magnificent Black Down. A great base for walks and enjoying a break from the city. Communication was straightforward and some essentials in the fridge and cake left for guests on arrival were a very thoughtful touch. We are already looking forward to coming back!

We rented the property over Christmas as we had family travelling over from Australia and we all wanted to be together. The property lived up to our expectations and was incredibly spacious. There is also a park over the road which is handy if you have young children. My only comment would be as it was a Christmas let it would have been nice to have a few more decorations because although there was a large Christmas tree in the dining room we had to go out and buy another tree and more decorations for the sitting room as that was where we were going to be spending the majority of Christmas day. However, we loved the property, had an amazing Christmas and in a similar situation we wouldn’t hesitate in booking the property again!

We had a fantastic stay at this remote cabin! If you're looking to disconnect from the noise and recharge in nature, this is the perfect spot. The views were breathtaking and we loved sitting by the fire pit under the stars, with the peaceful silence of the surrounding woods. Our host was responsive and the directions were clear, and check-in was smooth and thank you for the flexibility on the check-out! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful retreat away from it all! Thank you!

Stunning stay at South Lodge. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and sufficiently equipped, as well as being as described. The hosts were very responsive to all queries before and during the stay. The wine and cheese tasting at the Vineyard was a great activity that we thoroughly enjoyed, and the surroundings were stunning. It is right off a country road (albeit cars do go by quite fast), but it was surprisingly quiet and wasn't noticeable.

We had a lovely time here. The annexe was really everything we needed for a long weekend. So many thoughful touches. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could need. The radio was playing gently when we got there and some biscuits had been left for our arrival. Sheets to cover the sofa were provided so we didn't have to worry about our black furry dog ruining anything. We usually bring our own but it was all thought of. My dog was made most welcome which is really important to us. He loved playing with Martha and exploring in the woods. Such a tranquil place. We barely heard a woof out of him he was so relaxed. We look forward to returning one day.

I booked this for my family visiting from Australia so that they were local to us. They loved the peaceful surroundings and being able to walk to the village. The cottage is beautifully decorated, spacious, clean and comfortable. Instructions for check-in were clear and easy. Would definitely recommend.

Clair and Chris were very friendly and accommodating. Their property is set in a picturesque surround, very quiet and peaceful, exactly what we needed to relax. Several pubs are a 10 minute walk away, and there's plenty more walking to do in the surrounding area. The piggery itself is very well equipped with a washing machine, fridge, freezer, cooker, oven, pots pans you name it. Clair also provided an unexpected basket of goodies on arrival too which was very welcome and made it easy to settle and unwind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for some R&R.

This is probably the best property we have stayed in. It was a beautiful barn, everything we needed, lovely walks from the doorstep, also having private access to Staffhurst wood, where the bluebells were amazing! Very easy access into central London from the local station, 5 minutes away, and a great pub within walking distance! The hosts were very obliging and friendly, we will definitely return. Thank you!

The home was lovely with plenty of room for our large family to spread out. It was superbly well equipped and really comfortable. The trampoline and pool were big hits with the grandkids. The hosts were super welcoming and communicative. And the resident cats were a bonus!

We had a great stay at Bulmer Farm. A really great base to explore the Surrey Hills, and the cottage had everything we could have needed. Sue was extremely responsive and very helpful throughout our stay. Thank you!
