Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Surf Coast Shire

Our family were very happy with venue. Our 9 grandchildren had plenty of space to play in and they had plenty of activities there to occupy them. We adults had our own space for meals and catching up. The coffee machine was a great hit too. We highly recommend this house for families.

The home was great for an intergenerational holiday. The living space is compact, but well compensated with huge grassed, enclosed backyard for our 18 month and 31/2 year old grandchildren to have freedom to run around safely. Also a lovely huge out door space with large table and plenty of chairs, where we could enjoy the autumn sun. Also the kitchen was well stocked with cooking dishes and utensils for in home cooking. We were readily able to safely block off the bottom of stairs with an outdoor bench seat. Bonus was we could walk everywhere too, shops for coffee and yoga, along the river tracks and to the beach! Tim’s place is beautiful, the photos do not do it justice! Tim is easy to contact and responds quickly to messages. The location is great, 5min walk to the cliff tops and beach and 15min walk to the pub along the cliff tops. The place was beautiful and clean, would happily stay there again!

We loved our stay in Anglesea! Zara is a friendly, quick to reply and proactive host. Situated in a beautiful quiet, leafy street, short drive to main shops/beach. The house is cosy and the fire a good addition for a cold weekend. Beautiful clean bed linen and towels. If bringing babies in winter would suggest BYO oil heater/portable heaters for bedrooms, this was perfect and pre discussed with Zara. Would recommend and return! Thanks Zara :)

I had the most wonderful stay at this Airbnb – everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing (if not even better in person!). The attention to detail was impressive – from the cozy furnishings to the fully equipped kitchen and thoughtful little touches that made me feel right at home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had the best sleep during my stay. The bathroom was clean and modern, with great water pressure and all the amenities I needed. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was important for me since I needed to do some work during my trip. The location was also perfect – quiet and peaceful, yet close to everything. What an amazing spot. We booked last minute for a little getaway from Melbourne and it was exactly what we were looking for. John and Sacha were great hosts and they have such a lovely house. So close to the beach, so many balconies to enjoy. Our 6 year old daughter loved the tree house, the toys and the dvds. Moggs creek is one of our favourite spots on the great ocean road - and our stay here made it perfect!

Great place to stay for our family of 6. Great for day trips and having a comfy bed to come back to lie in. Bit far to walk anywhere but other than that I highly recommend this place to any family. Thank you for having us.

what a stay we just had at this awesome pad!! This is the second visit we have had here with our 2 kids for a weekend break away from fast paced life in Melbourne! The house is amazing; the layout, design and feel make for an unforgettable experience!. The walk into the property as soon as you open those white gates is truly spectacular! A tropical oasis in a secluded block awaits!! swings seats, and outdoor play area were a huge hit with the kids and we loved the pizza oven and fire! This place has the ability to give you a sense of home yet tropical hideaway at the same time in a quiet sanctuary. A great location close to the beach but still off the hustle and bustle of main strip Torquay. We had an amazing weekend and will forever remain one of our favourite places to come back to

Fleur’s place is stunning - thoughtfully and beautifully curated with so many special little touches…it was such an idyllic, peaceful, and luxe retreat. The bed is super-comfy, the amenities are luxurious, this is one of the loveliest spaces I have stayed in. Fleur was responsive, warm, and such a generous host. A hidden gem just outside Lorne where the only drama is deciding whether to have your wine in the hot tub or by the fire. Spoiler: we did both. Peaceful, cozy, and the perfect spot to live your best relaxed life.

Beautiful and peaceful location. Not far from the beach at all and you can connect with nature. Jess was great at communications and will definitely be looking into booking again soon. We had a great time staying at Jess’s property. ☺️

This was our second time here and we loved it just as much as the first. It's just great for pets: the enclosed yard is spacious so you can just let the doggo go outside and wander without worrying. The broader grounds are lovely. You feel like you are out in the country but if you forgot something, the Torquay shops are just a 10 min drive away. The animals, trampoline, pool, and ping pong are all great for the whole family. Terry is just lovely to chat with and very helpful if you need anything. Finally, check out the Great Ocean Road nursery and café just two doors down — delicious food and coffee and a very pleasant spot.

We had a lovely start at Wisteria cottage. Everything was as expected and more. We were traveling with a child and toddler and were very comfortable during the stay. The children thoroughly enjoyed their time at the farm. The biggest highlight being the tractor tour of the farm and interacting with the animals are close quarters. The cottage was perfect in all aspects and had a homely feel about it. We would highly recommend it to anyone especially if you are traveling with children.
