Holiday rentals with beach access in Sunset Cliffs, San Diego

Had a birthday getaway trip for my fiancés birthday and this place was perfect! It’s a great location for walking and easy access to the boardwalk we used the free bike rentals daily it was awesome. Thank you so much highly recommended this spot ✨

Tamaras listing was exactly like her pictures for a first timer In san diego the location was so beautiful and peaceful right off the beach exactly what I needed for a mini vacation I loved that it had its own little cozy balcony, and rooftop grill/ fire pit overlooking the view of imperial Beach there was so much to do in walking distance you couldn't beat the price for this place would definitely recommend and the host was very helpful and accommodating to any questions we had no matter the time if day thank you for making my stay worth it !

It was a wonderful stay! Exactly as described with all amenities! We utilized the bikes a lot to get around the beaches! It was lovely and I will certainly remember the spot if we’re in the area again and recommend to friends! Thank you again Rex!!!

This place was an absolute gem. Waking up to the sound of the waves and being able to walk everywhere made our stay so relaxing. It's the kind of spot where the beach feels like your backyard and adventure is always just around the corner. Falling asleep to the ocean breeze was pure magic. All in all, a fantastic escape — we’d recommend it in a heartbeat.

Pretty much perfect. Location is just stupid perfect. Walk right over to the Del Coronado, right to the beach, right to coffee. The place is perfect for a couples romantic stay. I plan on going back each year. I would suggest using their parking at the B of A right next door. Totally worth it. I really have zero bad things to say. Value A+. Easy A+ Clean A+. Safety A+++++. Lobster rolls across the street A+. Buzzed coffee around the corner A++++. I’ll be back.

We had a fantastic stay at this Ocean Beach home. The location is absolutely perfect, just a couple of blocks from the beach and within easy walking distance to great restaurants, coffee shops, and local shopping. We loved being able to explore the area on foot. Parking was super easy, which is a big plus in this neighborhood. The house itself was clean, comfortable, quiet, and just right for the two of us. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Aaron was a wonderful host, very welcoming and a great communicator throughout. We’d definitely stay here again.

Amazing place to stay with the family. Great beaches nearby. Tanya is an excellent host who goes above and beyond for her guests. She bought a mobile crib for our infant for our 3 day trip so he could sleep well, very few hosts would do that. Would absolutely recommend to stay at her place.

This was the perfect location for our stay in San Diego! The house was very clean, cute, amazing amenities, and close to anything you may need/want. Less than a couple blocks from some amazing restaurants, shopping, and the beach! Joshua was more than accommodating, extremely responsive, and very kind. There was no construction noise that we experienced. Even being so close to the hustle and bustle, it was very quiet, never heard our neighbors or people walking by. Highly recommend!

We had the best time at the Spanish beach cottage! The home was so charming and the backyard was very secure and perfect for pets. It was so close to both dog Beach and the local restaurants. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic week in La Jolla! John’s place was charming, spotless, and perfect for our family. The home was well-stocked with thoughtful amenities—including beach gear—and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The location is unbeatable: a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood within a few minutes walking distance to the beach, great restaurants, coffee shops, and more. John was a friendly and responsive host who made everything easy from start to finish. Honestly could not have asked for a better host. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing, convenient stay in La Jolla. We’d love to come back!

Our family was very comfortable and enjoyed our stay! Loved the location, layout, walkability, garage parking, private entrances, comfy beds, and the high quality appliances. We didn’t cook but could have easily prepared meals. We enjoyed the separate floors - I was able to work remotely in the dining area while kids played. Filtered water in the fridge was an added bonus. The garage is very tight, only a few inches of space on each side of my mid-size SUV, but worth having enclosed parking in that location.

The location is unbeatable!! Neighbors were friendly and we felt so safe! We loved the upstairs perch and the common area that was outside!

Elizabeth was a great host and responded to all my messages in a timely manner. The property is in a peaceful neighborhood but close to all the activities we wanted to do. The property was also clean and had ample amount of space. I would stay here again if I was in SD with a large group! Thank you Elizabeth!

The kids and I really liked the house. Great neighborhood and location! I really appreciate that the hosts sent us check-in information well ahead of our stay; it's way less stressful than waiting until an hour before check-in like some hosts do.

Stayed for a weekend and wished it was longer! The location was absolutely fantastic. A short walk to the beach, amazing restaurants, and some fun shops. Very quick drive to SD Zoo, Balboa Park, Sea World. The parking was a little tricky and if you have anything larger than a sedan it would be difficult to navigate, but there seemed to be street parking available often and we didn't end up moving the car much since the neighborhood was so walkable! House was just as cute as the photos and the couch was super comfortable!

Loved the location of this home! It also was very clean and comfortable. We had a 9-month old with us and it was really nice to see a high chair for us to use. There is also a closet full of beach items! But unfortunately it was a little too chilly for us to go to the beach which is steps away from the house. There’s also lots of restaurants walking distance which was very convenient. Only one parking spot but we were able to park our second car on the street, just watch the signs for parking restrictions. We loved this home and hope to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was stunning, with ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves—it was the perfect place to relax after a day out. There were several great restaurants within walking distance, and we loved being able to grab snacks from the nearby Oxxo, just a short 5-minute walk away. The host was very accommodating, allowing us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Security at the front was helpful and friendly—they assigned us a parking space and made it easy to find the building. We did experience a couple of minor issues: the shower wasn’t draining properly, and on the third day, the door wouldn't lock. The host responded quickly to our messages, but unfortunately, no one showed up after we waited about an hour. However, the issue was resolved while we were out, so everything was fine when we returned. Despite those small hiccups, we had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again. Great location on Mission Beach. Emmy's book of local suggestions was great for finding good food in the area. Centrally located to all different San Diego attractions which was great. Loved the beach being right outside the door as well as the ability to walk all around Mission Beach. My family and I even walked to Pacific beach. Emmy was wonderful with checking in on my family. I would definitely recommend.

the kitchen was stocked with appliances, utensils, condiments and everything you need to cook a meal. Each room had a fan so it helped cool down the rooms quick. The place is located within 10min from ocean and neighborhood restaurant. Our host was attentive and hospitable. We liked the self check-in and check out method

This is a beautiful little place perfect for my wife and I! We loved our stay and everything was very clean and tidy. The location is great with tons to do around the area and walking distance from a ton of fun activities! The only downside is the parking is very tight. But this is made clear by the hosts. If you have a small car though it will fit. The hosts are very efficient communicators and helped us immediately when we had anything pop up!
