Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sunset Beach, Huntington Beach

Great place! Clean and cozy. Lots of space to spread out. Loved the upstairs! We rented this last minute and it was ready for us within just a few hours. Quick drive to the beach and close to lots of restaurants. If we head back to the area, we will rent again.

Our family had an excellent stay. The view from the property is amazing, as is the accessibility to the beach. We would definitely rebook this property in the future.

I’m extremely satisfied with John’s beautiful house, and I can say this is the best place I’ve ever stayed in LA among all of my 17 LA trips. My parents were so obsessed with John’s place and they said they wanna stay here forever. John’s place was so clean, bright, and prestige, which was exactly matched with the pictures. John was also being very responsive and friendly (always reply less than 10 mins). Nice place and totally worthy!

We sure enjoyed our stay. Very clean and lots of places to relax and enjoy, both inside and outside. Beautiful home. Great location. We loved everything!! We walked everywhere. The house is pristine and the hosts are great. Would stay here again for sure.

Honest review…this location is beautiful, it’s the perfect place to take young kids because the beach is less busy w/ no waves. The house furniture is very used, stained from kids. The couch is very uncomfortable & hard to get in & out of but the location makes up for the outdated house. The stairs were a little scary, hard tile so be careful w/ small children/elderly. I did see a baby gate so you just have to take your time as it’s three flights & each room is on a different level. We did have a problem with ants showing up, you can’t leave any food on the counter at all. The best I can describe it is it was like camping at the beach. The house is very loved but you can tell they raised their family here. There is still a lot of kids clothing/toys left behind and if you have kids I’m sure they will love playing with them. Master bedroom tv wouldn’t turn on but did last day so batteries could be low, easy fix. We had a hard time getting all the locks to work & the sliding door fell off

The host was friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. The area was nice, with plenty of things to see and do.

Thank you, Johnny, for sharing your slice of paradise with our family. The location could not be better. The house was well stocked with necessities and conveniences. We had a perfect weekend. There was a little noise from upstairs, but not bad or intrusive at all. We did not even see them at all. I would suggest reading the house rules before booking, as I overlooked that. I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay, although we ended up ubering to Disneyland because it wasn’t quite as walkable as we had hoped. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We did get cold at night and there wasn’t enough extra blankets, but maybe they were stored somewhere else that we couldn’t locate. It was really clean and perfect for our Disneyland trip! We were too busy to use the pool but it was a short walk from the unit.

Great stay! There is everything you could possibly need for a beach stay. Pam was so helpful and had lots of good suggestions. The location was perfect. Just a block and a half from the beach and the neighborhood was quiet. Bed was super comfy and the space was perfect. Didn’t use the patio much but that also was a nice addition. Will def be staying again!!

I was super lucky to find this place and it be available . I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs and this one is by far is the best! Location, upgrades throughout, comfortable but not too soft beds, instruction left for every gadget and the quality of the cookware, Gwen thought of every kitchen tool one would want and I have Lenox butterfly, so I felt right at home.

Such a cute place ! The private patio area was really nice. It was also great having a garage to park in. Long Beach is infamous for parking so having a guaranteed spot is such a plus. There's also so many great places to eat near by. I highly recommend Jesse's place if you are going to Long Beach.

I went to celebrate my 50th birthday and this location was exactly what I needed. Walkable location to restaurants, beauty spots and most importantly for me the beach…..since that’s the main reason I came. 🏝️The host gave a special touch to my visit since I was celebrating my special day. I would recommend this place for it checks all the boxes when it comes to location, restaurants, things to do and much more. Even the Uber driver was impressed with the neighborhood/beach location and mentioned they have to come out this way to enjoy Redondo Beach. Thank you again for making my stay extra special.

Wonderful spot. Quiet and peaceful. Easy access to highways/amusement parks. Walking distance to restaurants and beaches. Would highly recommend if you are planning to stay in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay! The apartment was spacious and comfortable and immaculate. High quality appliances and basically everything in the house was top notch. Very close to the shops and restaurants. The village couldn’t be cuter. Would 100% recommend!

Such a beautiful home. Celebrated my moms 60th birthday at the beach and got to relax and unwind in the balcony & in the cozy living room. All the rooms were clean and comfortable. We look forward to visiting again!

House was as expected. The host was extremely accommodating for our big group. Checkin was easy and seamless. The only issue we had was that WiFi didn’t work well in downstairs master. Other than that, this house was everything we needed and more. Irene was fantastic! I wish all hosts were like her.

I appreciated Liza checking in on us to make sure we were comfortable, and her readiness to recommend great places to eat and fun things to do in the area. If I had a question, she answered within minutes. The house is beautiful! It is clean, comfortable, and in a quiet neighborhood. This was my first time using Airbnb, and I could not have asked for a better experience!

We had a wonderful stay here! The hosts were warm, friendly, and easy to chat with, which made us feel right at home. The place itself was charming and well-kept, with the highlight being our own private pool and jacuzzi – such a treat! The ambience is fantastic, with a serene countryside design that blends beautifully with nature. A gentle breeze flows through the property, and we even spotted some small animals from time to time, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. We actually ended up changing our travel plans just to spend more time here – that’s how much we enjoyed it. If you’re looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating getaway, this place is perfect. Mark was a wonderful host. He was easy to contact and replied very quickly. The house was beautiful and well equipped. The property was only a .50 mile from our granddaughter’s home. The heated pool was great entertainment for our great grandkids and they loved staying over and sleeping in the bunk beds. We are looking forward to returning.

We had an amazing stay at Susan’s place. We would definitely recommend her place and stay again. Susan was also a fantastic host, always quick to respond and accommodating.
