Mellon Haven - Island Cottage

This 1924 Beach Cottage was part of the original Mellon Estate located in Summer Haven. Literally steps from the Atlantic Ocean (one of the best surfing spots in St Augustine), it is the perfect hideaway to escape to an island! Equipped with WIFI, they will never know you are working remotely! It's quiet area to spend some time with your family with popular activities nearby. The home is updated, and features a screened porch that doubles the living space. The hardest part is going home.

One of a kind 1930s historic home, newly renovated and transformed into a beautiful secluded getaway. new luxury finishes, while holding its traditional charm. No Events allowed. If the ocean is calling, take a 2 min ride with the included 6 seater golf cart (must sign waiver) & drive right on to Crescent beach. Grab a surf or boogie board for some extra excitement!

This is a place for those who love Old Florida with an abundance of beautiful live oaks that provide a natural shady “Hammock”. Our space is a Bohemian paradise, a place to sit and relax or enjoy the many nearby adventures. Feel free to use the available bicycles and take a quick 5 minute ride to the beach. Ask us about the kayak or surf boards available for nearby water activities.
