we really liked the apartment very clean and had everything for a pleasant stay, the pool very nice and clean, the only detail I saw him was that in the living room and dining room he did not feel privacy since the blind did not cover completely. from there in out everything ok

Accommodation in a private residential subdivision, so there was always access control. Area close to places of interest in the city's northeastern sector. Very good service attitude from the host. Everything in the home was clean and working. I would stay there again or somewhere else this host administers.

My stay was excellent. The place is very comfortable, with everything you need to feel at home. It is super accessible, close to the stadium, and the atmosphere is quiet, ideal for resting. The host was attentive and kind. I would definitely come back.

Good value for money. Very nice accommodation. The neighborhood is quiet. Parking is outside the room but has a covered space, so it does provide security. Access is autonomous and easy. The amenities are basic and functional. Electric Pin Microwave Mini fridge The room is nice, it has curtains. The wifi works well with the TV and the shower is small but great. I would definitely come back if I came alone.

Family owned AirBnB and son Marcos was super quick and responsive. I stayed here for 5 weeks and he got me a microwave, place had yoga mats, and I loved the treated water. You can tell they know the needs of a traveler and have AirBnB filled with things like sufficient lighting, kitchen tools, extra cleaning supplies, extra blankets, heater, and etc. Don’t hesitate to reserve your stay. You will enjoy every minute of it.

We stayed for four nights at Katharine’s place and we absolutely loved it. The location is perfect right in the center of town but tucked above and behind the restaurants, which resulted in a quiet and peaceful environment. Everything we did was within walking distance. The home has amazing views of the surrounding area and we loved the skylights, especially when a storm rolled through. The house is equipped with all you need to cook and do laundry. That bathroom is stylish and had hot water. We were happy to see a filter hooked up to the kitchen sink for drinking water. The bakery and Indian restaurant below are delicious choices for food and snacks. I would not hesitate to return to this airbnb. It’s one of the best places I have stayed in on my journey through Mexico. Thank you, Katharine, for opening your home. It’s perfect.

Everything was wonderful. Extra blankets for cooler nights, large fridge, tea, coffee, sugar, 25 l water. Good gas stove, spices, dishes, etc. Plenty of space, great roof with 2 chairs overlooking the mountains

We stayed here for two months, April and May. The best thing about this apartment is the beautiful view of San Cristobal and the surrounding mountains from the terrace. The wonderful host, Luis, who lives on the premises, was educated and well-traveled, and we enjoyed talking with him about the different places we had both been in the world. He was also always immediately responsive to any issues we might have. We have lived all over the world since leaving the US 20 months ago, and the kitchen was quite large and, hands down, the best we have had anywhere. Also, we thought the beds were very comfortable. And the property also has its own washer and dryer. The house is divided into several Airbnb rentals. It is pretty walkable to El Centro and the Guadalupe Walking Street—about a 15 to 20-minute walk. In addition, there are restaurants, shops, a pharmacy and an OXXO close by. The park is about a half-block away, and it is easy and inexpensive to get a taxi from there to anywhere in San Cristobal. The downside would be the same as everywhere in Mexico that we have been—noise, although the internet (usually a problem) was actually pretty good here, and compared to other places we have been in Mexico, we really couldn’t complain much. The street has a fair amount of traffic, but we didn’t hear a lot of dogs barking, which is usually a big problem for us in Mexico; however, we did hear firecrackers—sometimes because of people celebrating a particular holiday. We never felt unsafe, especially walking at night, but we always stayed on the main streets in the main areas.

Johanna is very helpful, communicative and friendly. It was always extremely easy and quick to communicate with her. The house was impeccable, very similar to the photos, with lots of personality. Clean, comfortable and super well located. The only problem is the issue of water, which unfortunately is somewhat limited in the area of San Cristobal de las Casas. But this issue is totally understandable and Johanna was always very helpful and we never lacked water, both drinking water for consumption and for baths and flushing.
