Great place. Cool host.

From the time I first got in touch with May and being assisted by Mariani, the stay was simply awesome. My mom who is 75 was worried that the say wouldn't be as good as being at home but she was proven wrong with all the elderly friendly setup and the ease of having kids around. All in May and her lovely home was well thought out to cater for all walks of life. Kudos!

I stayed a week with Kwailitis and his family and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was really nice spending time with such a lovely family and Ibu’s cooking is awesome (I paid 100rp/day for 3 meals). If you’d like a really authentic Indonesian experience this is it.

Thai Soon (Host) is super friendly and we felt like visiting a relative. Served us coffee and chat with us like family. The place is a farm in a city. Do not expect luxury setup but back to nature. Highly recommend this experience.

overall a lovely experience and great value. Ruby and Vasantha (the people that manage the place) were fantastic. Beautiful flora and fauna, interesting layout, and friendly helpful staff, who went beyond our expectations to make sure we had a good experience. if anything it seems like they could use some help with the upkeep (only two people manage the whole place!), cooking, farming, administration, housekeeping etc. The WiFi reception was was weak, but plenty of nature to keep you entertained

Hidden gems in Lojing!

Our family really enjoyed the stay at this beautiful, relaxing place! The location was quite central and on walking distance from nice things to see and do. However, there is no need to leave as the room, garden and friendliness of the staff made you feel at home very quickly. Although we didn't meet Natascha ourselves, our stay was great! They prepared food as a welcome and we enjoyed the pool the next day until check-out. We can really recommend this fantastic place!

Definitely a hidden gem of Penang. Well kept and nicely design villas and landscape. Lilian and Carl are both very great host. The place is very well maintain.

A big thank you to Zayid and his family for their very warm welcome. We were able to share a wonderful dinner with them, and chat for hours! This is exactly what we look for when we stay in a local's home. In addition, we benefited from a room + spacious than expected, with an en-suite bathroom (instead of shared). Thank you for everything!

Love that the host is so kind, warm and friendly. The place was cozy too. Breakfast such as tea and crackers are provided as well. I loved reading a good book at the balcony at night because it was cold and airy. Would totally recommend

The location is very strategic, malls and hospitals is only minutes away. The host is very friendly and helpful. House was clean and cozy, a suitable place for a staycation. Would recommend everyone about this place.

A really comfy hostel to stay in)) Good facilities, amazing kitchen where you can cook just about anything) The design is really unique, loads of nice photospots, because the hostel is also an art space)) Jomy is a very friendly owner, gives loads of tips and inside info about Klang. We absolutely had a blast staying here. Definitely recommended to travellers from all over the world!)

Amazing stay with Cunn and her daughter. They really helped us. Everything was perfect, meal, room, bike rental.. cunn didn't hesitate to bring my son to the Hospital( he needed care). Beautiful people I can only recommend this beautiful property without a second thought

Arnaz and Saliza are quite the perfect dictionary's definition of the term "hospitable". From answering my tedious and relentless questions for weeks on end prior to and after making my booking, to being extremely accommodating by offering me alternative choices when the initial ones are no longer available, their patience already gained plenty of respect and trust from me. When my check-in time became severely delayed due to issues with my mode of transport, Arnaz, Saliza and their father, Yusoff, contacted me out of concern - through the middle of the night - even though they could have easily just brushed it off as an incident of normal delays. Upon arrival, I realised just how special of a home this was, even to patrons. Uncle Yusoff, Aunt Naz and the whole extended family indeed does treat everyone like their own, as per the reviews you see from all the others. Airbnb does not require hosts to prepare meals for their guests but nonetheless, Aunt Naz made breakfast every single morning through my 3 days of stay. Not only that, she is extremely mindful of their guests dietary habits and will accommodate her cooking to suit their needs, and I definitely encourage future guests to give her omelettes a go! On the final night of my stay, the aforementioned extended family gathered with an Australian couple who was also staying over at the same time as I was and prepared a wonderful feast for all of us. Arnaz and Saliza even went so far as to entertain us with several songs during our dinner, before sitting down and speaking about our lives prior to our final night of sleep there. Indeed, the entire family is really friendly and seeks common topics to interact about with their guests, but at the same time, they do understand and respect the importance of their guests' privacy when the time calls for it. This possibly boils down to the plentiful life experiences that everyone within the family has undergone, and they have my absolute utmost respect for it. To be entirely honest, I was rather sceptical of all the perfect 5-star reviews when checking out the booking as I found it rather unbelievable for all guests to be satisfied. Nonetheless, having experienced it for myself, I now completely understand the circumstances as to how they have garnered such praise from all guests. This is something that I kept mentioning to Arnaz myself throughout my stay, but he is adamant that everyone is merely exaggerating. (Newsflash: We aren't!) Even upon arrival at home, Uncle Yusoff dropped me a final text to ensure that I was safe before giving me his well wishes. With the above said and done, there is nothing much else I have to add except for a massive thank you to the whole family for such an amazingly pleasant experience.

An incredible place, the staff are friendly and very helpful, the scenic is great. Anybody who loves nature will love it here. don't expect hot water or a/c, and those don't matter on this island.

Wong’s & Titirat’s home was a peaceful and idyllic home during our visit to Lumut. The house is situated strategically - with a short drive away from the gas station & local eateries (Wong & Titirat shared some amazing recommendations for fresh seafood restaurants close by!) The house is well-ventilated, with all the amenities necessary for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The kitchen, bathrooms & just about every space in the house is spotless. I particularly enjoyed reading while on the rocking chair by the window (in the common area). The house overlooks the water, and right next to it is a gazebo where we had a delicious breakfast so generously prepared by Titirat and Wong. Best of all was Titirat’s and Wong’s hospitality - they welcomed us with much care, warmth & generosity. Our only regret was our short stay - we would love to have spent more time at the house! So we hope to return soon, & to stay even longer! Thank you Titirat & Wong for one of our best Airbnb stays!

My stay at Villa Onu was the perfect week! Surfing, fishing, diving and exploring! We woke up each day to incredible food and friendly staff in one of the best locations on the planet! I couldn’t recommend Villa Onu enough for your next trip away! Despite the long haul journey it’s worth every second! It won’t be my last time staying there! A special thanks to Vincent and Wella, the lovely hosts, who made sure everything was taken care of each step of the way!

Great stay

I wish I could give more than five stars! Widy has operated this surf camp for years but only just put it on Airbnb and we were glad to find it this way. Check out the amazing reviews on Google! The room is simple but very spacious, clean and comfortable. We slept very well and had everything we needed. The biggest draws though are the location and Widy's hospitality. We stayed for 1 week over Christmas. The camp is big, on the most stunning beach with coral reef, and with lots of spaces to hang out and take in the views. The staff and Widy's family are so lovely and helpful. We ate all of our meals at the camp and it was delicious. The camp is right on Ujung Bocur surf break. We rented scooters from Widy and were a lovely 15min ride to Mandiri beach break and another 15min to Krui's left. Ask Widy about her guesthouse near Jenny's too, it's amazing! Wanto next door has surfboards to rent and can take you out to a break for a lesson. Highly recommend!
