The Carpenter's Cabin in Hocking Hills was fantastic-- we spent a long weekend with another family (4 adults, 3 children ages 5-7) and there was plenty for everyone to be comfortable and entertained. The house's design is very cool. The kids had several areas to play in both indoors and outside, along with games and books. The kitchen is very functional. Several nice outdoor spaces to enjoy. Great location in terms of travel to many of the attractions in the area. Would recommend to anyone looking for a stylish and fun getaway in proximity to NE Ohio treasures.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we were at home. Sandrine's cabin was spotless, very well and tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture and pleasing decorations. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and be comfortable. The MBR bed was super comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed the front porch and back deck as well as the hot tub which was the largest, most powerful and cleanest we've experienced in our many Hocking Hills Airbnb trips. The place was private (in the summer) with thick tree lines on each sides separating us from the neighbors and no one in the back. We also enjoyed the hammocks. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.., We will return!

The Amber Hills Lodge is an amazing stay for any large groups who want to stay in and never be bored. The cabin is huge and very stylish. We spent most of our time in the theater room watching movies, but then would intersperse our movie watching time with pole barn time- playing basketball or using the golf sim. The place was clean, we had no issues with sleeping arrangements as there are 9 beds (10 if you count the pull out couch in the master) and there was always something to do! It’s close enough to Lancaster that we were even able to go there no issues when we wanted to. Our host, Amanda, was incredibly kind, and communication was quick and clear. The ONLY “bad” thing I have to say about the spot is that the driveway is very steep and because of the rain it had created quite the bumpy experience getting down into it, but it was not too bad. All in all, this is a place I would easily recommend to anyone looking for a stay with so much to do you’ll never be bored staying in!

The whole experience with Rosalie was amazing. Very responsive, very kind, and just overall a great transaction. The home exceeded expectations, it was a lot of small thoughtful things- bathroom amenities in case of forgotten items, coffee bar, notes and instructions were so clear. Wonderful property and host!

The settlers retreat was in a peaceful area with beautiful surroundings. Restaurants and other places were available only 15min away. The property had a bunch of land with which he had games like corn-hole to fill your time! We had 9 people fit comfortably!

This place was amazing! It’s a very cozy feel. The property is private and secluded. The pond has some fish in there so bring a pole! We had a great guys weekend and hiked Hocking Hill. 10/10 recommend this place wish we had more days there.

You have to stay at Camp Forever. My girlfriends and I spent a reading retreat weekend here and all walked away feeling like this was one of - if not the best airbnbs we have ever stayed at. The cabin is spacious, beds comfy, kitchen stocked and aesthetic, huge wrap around patio, amazing views, and such an amazing host. Grace was beyond responsive to any questions we had and the most responsive airbnb host i've ever had. Can't give this place enough stars and we are already planning our next stay at Camp Forever.

Margot and her husband John, and of course Jim the herd dog were all extremely welcoming! My husband and I felt like family! We wanted a peaceful, relaxing getaway for my husband's birthday/our wedding anniversary, and we were not disappointed at all! I am a big Highland cow fan, and John took us out to the pasture to get right with the cows! I got the most beautiful pictures to print and hang in my kitchen! Margot and John are such a warm, loving couple. You can just feel the warmth from their hearts! We will definitely be coming back, we want to bring our grandchildren next time.

We were in town for a wedding in Rockbridge and this location was perfect! 10 minutes from the highway and gas station yet secluded enough we felt we deep in the woods. There are 2 other adorable cabins next to us but still had lots of privacy! My sister stayed next door which was awesome! Inside offered all the things we needed for our weekend trip! Heated/cooled very nicely! Bed very comfy! Lots of great hiking nearby and the Hocking Hills Diner had some good food and yummy sweets!

This is our third visit to Mark’s accommodation. It’s the perfect getaway - it’s peaceful, relaxing, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need. Mark is a wonderful host - great communication, and we’ve always found him to be super helpful and friendly. This weekend was everything we needed - we’d highly recommend this place to friends, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit :)

Matt was quick to respond and super friendly. place was very clean and comfortable., great fishing, very clean. Great bird watching saw a couple pileated woodpeckers. Great lake view. The porch view was awesome. The kids loved it. We had a couple special requests and Matt fulfilled with great accomodations. Highly recommend for an inexpensive getaway!!!!!!!!

Lovely and serene cabin close to Hocking Hills State Park. Was even better than expected. Had all the essentials for a long weekend of hiking and visiting family in nearby Columbus.

The ivory buck is a terrific get away for two. Convenient to the outdoor adventure of Hocking Hills and the small town charm of Lancaster. Hot tub is a great way to end or start the day. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Cardinals Nest is in a beautiful setting and feels very homey. Nice cabin decor, comfortable beds, and clean modern bathrooms. Space to be together and have some quiet time apart. We listened to the birds on the screened porch and spent a fun evening in the hot tub. Hiked Old Man’s Cave just 20 min away. Would book again for sure!

Wow! We loved staying at the Rusty Horse Lodge. It truly felt like home and we were immediately comfortable. The game room was a hit with our three sons and they also loved the theater chairs with surround sound for gaming. The kitchen was very well-equipped and we cooked daily in it. One of our favorite parts of the house was the screened in porch off the back. I enjoyed waking up, making coffee, and sitting out there with a full view of nature. We also ate many of our meals out there. The hot tub was so easy to use and it was also a daily excitement for the whole family, especially after long days of hiking. Amit was very polite and easy to communicate with. He was proactive and made sure we were comfortable and shared helpful recommendations. The fire pit and sauna were also great addition, with the property truly being beautiful. Small touches were found throughout our stay like coffee supplies, hot chocolate, books, and board games. We highly recommend staying here!

We loved our stay at the Hummingbird Cabin. Our group of seven was more than comfortable. We had a blast in the private salt water pool. Playing volleyball with my nephews every night after hiking will always be a fun memory for us. The pool and hot tub were both clean and warm. We had rain our whole stay, so coming back after hiking in the rain to a warm pool and hot tub really saved our trip from being wet and boring. The cabin is close enough to all the trails, but also secluded enough to enjoy the tranquil nature of the cabin. The hosts were always kind leading up to our stay, and made sure we were always happy. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. We won’t hesitate to come back.

I’m almost speechless with regards to what to say about the space. The space was everything the pictures reflected and more when we actually arrived. This space gives Hocking Hills a new innovative vibe, very classy

Cabin was very private and peaceful. Located close enough to the Hocking Hills State Park for the hiking and shopping at the local stores. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking. Cabin was equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend staying at this cabin.
