If I could give Leigh-Anne a 10 star review, I absolutely would. My husband and I were traveling from the states on our honeymoon, never having visited the Netherlands and not really being travelers, period. We honestly had no idea what we were doing - Leigh-Anne jumped in and was so kind and helpful. She was so clear in describing where the Airbnb is, not leaving out any important details of how it was on an island, needing to travel to and from by ferry, how often the ferry ran, etc. Luckily we are not big nightlife people and booked the cottage for peaceful refuge and that is just what we got. My husband and I are animal/nature lovers, so the fact there are goats and a rooster were icing on the cake. There are endless fields with wildlife, flowers, cows that you can see from the bedroom window when you wake up and a nice set up outside that is perfect for enjoying some coffee with the goats and birds. De Woude is so cute and quaint. THANK YOU for sharing your space, Leigh-Anne! 🫶🏼

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

We enjoyed our stay at Wendela's. We were warmly welcomed. The "Rosenhäuschen" was exactly what we had imagined. It was our home away from home. And we'll be back for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay in Hendrika's tiny house. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed, including fine tips for nice places nearby. It was wonderful to stay in the beautiful green garden, and a visit to the calves on the farm made it extra special. An absolute must for those who want to relax in a cozy cottage where you immediately feel at home.

I love the caravan! And I felt right at home. There are also several nice seating areas outside the caravan in the garden where you can sit with plenty of privacy. Back to basics. The environment is also super, you can walk to the village and beach. I will definitely remember the place for when I am back on Texel. :)

Top spot to stay overnight in full peace. Cozy tiny house with wellness facilities. Very satisfied with our stay and always had good contact with the hostess and host. Highly recommendable!

The nature literally next to you, curtains open and yes a nice view. ** The small space Ot was finished to the last detail, even in October it was nice, the heating was needed. Kitchen in order, bed small but slept very well! *** In the area are forests and areas for walking. In addition, the Pantropica in Luttelgeest, in 10 min. by car. **** At the reception you can find a lot of information and books. All in all, a wonderful vacation!

Arrive and feel comfortable: warm welcome, short briefing and tips. Private retreat with nice terrace and small garden at the back out to the water. Surrounded by water, great nature. Individual since you have to take the ferry to get there ( 2 min)- uncomplicated. We used the house as a couple and found everything we need for a nice getaway. Recommended

Absolutely brilliant houseboat. Super nicely decorated - very modern - equipped with everything you need. It was sparkling clean and cozy. We felt completely comfortable and enjoyed the life on the houseboat very much (a great experience). The boat includes a sup, which we tried despite the season. In and around the boat is very quiet and yet you are almost in the middle of it - it is only a few meters to the actual place. Really great: the supermarket is right across the street. Anita and Diedert are great and very attentive hosts, whom we did not meet in person but the communication with them was excellent. We would love to come again.

The cottage is cozy and welcoming The materials in the kitchen are beautifully complete, even different herbs on a shelf. Maybe a guest book is a nice addition, so you can leave a message. We were also curious about the history of the cottage. There is a lot to do in the area, the instructions Astrid gives here are clear and there is also a folder with a lot of information. If we come to the region again, we would love to come back! André and Jantien

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy chalet in Holland! The place was very clean, modernly furnished and equipped with everything you might need – from the fully equipped kitchen to relax. The location was perfect: quiet, surrounded by nature and yet close to shopping and attractions. We especially enjoyed the hosts who were always helpful and friendly. Overall it was a fantastic stay

Fantastic host, fantastic accommodation. Extremely clean and spacious. Perfect if alone, a couple or even 3 people. Rebecca was very friendly and responded very quickly, met me in person for check in, she even messaged me after my first night to make sure I was happy with the guesthouse. There was lots of information provided about surrounding restaurants etc all in a folder, everything you need for your stay. It was a 10 min walk from Hoorn train station and a 3 min walk to a food shop. Lovely quiet neighbourhood. I would absolutely stay there again and I would highly recommend it. 10/10

An absolutely lovely cottage in a beautiful area of Holland. SUPER clean, SUPER private, and SUPER quiet! (except for the beautiful birdsong) Has a great very private outdoor seating area with umbrella, for outdoor meals in the garden. Very well equipped kitchen for those who like to make their own meals. Very cozy and comfortable and every day felt like coming ‘home’. Communication with owners was excellent. Owners really interested in making sure you are enjoying your time in their cottage. Very easy/open communication. If you are looking to relax/re-charge in a quiet, relaxing environment, this is it ! While there are still plenty of things to do nearby. Beautiful villages to explore, long walks on the beach or thru the dunes. If you enjoy all those things, I highly recommend you rent this cottage, you will be so very glad you did !

We had a nice and special weekend in the Mammaloe gypsy wagon. The facility was exactly as described and as shown in the pictures. We used both the whirlpool and the e-bikes. The communication was great and Mammaloe took good care of us when needed. The mattress was a bit too soft for our standards, and in May, it felt a bit too cold in the car. Although there is a heater, it takes quite a long time to get pleasantly warm. I can only recommend this accommodation, we will be happy to come back, but then rather in the summer :)

The chalet is great and very new. All cooking utensils were also available in the kitchen. We felt very comfortable and also the campsite was perfect for us (with a 5-year-old child). The communication with Dirk was super nice and straightforward. We would love to come back!

Very cozy, clean caravan in a quiet, natural environment with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is very well equipped. The entire facility (showers, pool,...) is also very clean and well maintained. We had the heating on at night, everything worked out great. The reception staff were also very friendly. Communication with Stefan was very good. Questions were answered helpfully and quickly. The WLAN connection in the caravan was not always available, but with the available games, bicycles and the cozy evenings on the beautiful terrace, this was not a problem for us. The WiFi connection at the front of the reception/pool was very good. It's a perfect place to switch off.

The houseboat is beautiful and much larger than you'd expect. Located in a very nice small harbor, here you can watch boats docking and departing, the water, ducks, fish.... There are some restaurants (very tasty) & cafes in the area. We felt very comfortable from the first second to the last second and will definitely come back.

Lovely accommodation with all the amenities you need. We felt very comfortable. Everything was clean, tidy and the amenities in very good condition 😊 Communication was super straightforward and we got a quick response to everything. The area offers a lot to explore and the campsite is a good starting point for excursions

We had a super stay. Everything is well arranged and quick and easy contact with Caroline. Super clean, nice bed, more than enough amenities in the kitchen. We just had to look for the right way to get a hot shower. And Caroline and her partner were very quickly willing to watch and advise! We would recommend this place!
