Lake house holiday rentals in Sturgeon Lake

The only complaint I have is the lake is very busy on the weekends and there is houses being built all around during week. It was very noisy during the week. At the same time I loved it so much I didn’t want to leave.

My 3 daughters and I came for a quilting getaway. The house was spectacular and clean. So peaceful and private. The perfect place to recharge. We all enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning off the lake. There were a few boats to watch as they fished. The deck seating was ideal for having some meals

A great place to stay! Really enjoyed the comfortable accommodations and amenities! A very convenient place for us to stay while visting family in Big Lake. Hope we can book Anna's place again in the future!

Great find... we loved the home (comfortable, clean, spacious), we loved the outdoors (kayaking, bonfire, fishing), and we loved the family time it have us while celebrating my daughter's graduation from UW Superior. Proximity to Duluth was perfect!

We were all so happy as soon as we entered the house cause of how pretty it was. Everything was perfect and more than anything that we could have ever asked for. We made so many beautiful memories that we’ll cherish for lifetime. We DID NOT wanted to leave the house and even 2 days after we are reminiscing out stay through pictures counting days we can be back again. I wanted to share how appreciative I am of the efforts of keeping your property chemical and fragrance free! I was so impressed! We keep a non-toxic home as well and staying in rentals always give me a bit of anxiety with all the common cleaners used. I loved being able to bring my little ones here and be so comfortable and at peace. Thank you! I wish there were more properties out there that take a healthy environment as seriously as you guys.

The Refresh Cabin was wonderful! We stayed at the cabin while we were in town for a wedding and it was perfect. Beds were super comfy, lots of space to relax and a beautiful outdoor space for the kids to play. They loved the outdoor games and going out in the paddle boat. Joseph is a great host. His recommendations were spot on and very helpful for finding groceries and restaurants nearby. We would love to stay there again if we are ever back in Minnesota.

House was just the right size for our family. Lake was great and we enjoyed the kayaks. The fire pit was well stocked. Only downside was the road noise, but the view of the lake more than made up for it. Trevis is a wonderful host and responded to me promptly throughout our stay! Thank you for sharing your house with us!

This Airbnb met 100% of our needs. It was squeaky clean. It was easy to find with great directions. Joel is accommodation, friendly, and responsive. We will use this Airbnb again when we're in the area.

We had a great stay at the Island Lake Getaway. Fishing was great right off the dock. We were able to use kayaks and pedal boats, and they also had lots of sand toys and games for the kids to play outside. There isn’t anything that could have made this a better stay than it was! We were so impressed with the property, and all the family who came to visit was also blown away by how beautiful it was. We usually book a hotel when we stay in Duluth, but this was so much better for our family of 4.

We have been there for the third year in a row. We love this place and area. Will be returning!!!

Beautiful location! Had a great secluded yard we got to see lots of wild life including 2 bears right in the yard! House was beautiful, very accommodating and affordable! Loved being right on the lake with a short walk. We are looking forward to coming back in the future!! Thank you for having us!

Great home and location, clean and decorated nicely. The house was perfect for 3 couples. Plenty of space in the kitchen, living room and deck for us to congregate. We took advantage of the lake, trails, restaurants and the local casino. Host was quick to respond to our questions and very accommodating.

Booked a stay with some friends for a long weekend at the lake and Heidi’s place was absolutely perfect! She was always responsive, and well prepared with everything we needed from towels to basic kitchen utensils and everything in between. The hot tub was a huge perk and we also had fun taking the kayaks out on the lake. Definitely would recommend booking with Heidi for anyone looking for a relaxing escape near the twin cities!

We had a lovely long weekend at Krista’s place. We appreciated the all the cookware available in the kitchen, and the extra beach towels in the bathroom. The view of the lake was great and the property felt very private. We had a great stay!

This is the 2nd time we stayed here and we absolutely loved our time spent at the cabin. It is so peaceful and relaxing. Again my husband commented on how well he sleeps on the mattress in the main bedroom. Kara was responsive and helpful. We ate our anniversary dinner at Jack n Jim's Food and Liquor in Dueln/Foley. It was so delicious and we will definitely go there again. We always enjoy the Palmer House Bar and Grill and they never disappoint. We hope to book a time to go to the cabin in the summer and fall. We had a great time together with family. The home and surroundings were safe for our grandchildren and the large family table was big enough for the entire family to set together. Love the kitchen, everything we needed. Joe was very accommodating to my request. Thank you, Joe. As you know this was a very special weekend for me as a gift to my husband and your home did not disappoint.

This stay was absolutely fantastic for our multi family crew with kids! It’s well equipped and thoughtful in every way (pack and play, high chair, baby gate, life jackets, kids toys, firewood, chairs by fire pit, grill, kayaks, canoe, linens, indoor towels, beach towels, first aid kit, laundry machine, pots/pans, keurig, etc.) Everything was organized (labeled kitchen cabinets and drawers to find things easily) and clean. Beautiful property with private dock on a quiet lake with great fishing. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of sleeping spots for kids. The garage worked well for the kids to play in little cars, bags, ladder golf, etc. Having two fridges was helpful for our cooking for the group. Thorough welcome binder with info well outlined and responsive host! Our older kids enjoyed finding the Lego man. This was a perfect place to be able to pack light and show up to everything you’d need/want for a stay! Thanks so much Lisa!

We stayed at this house for a long weekend at the end of May. The weather was beautiful and we were able to enjoy time outside. The extra items inside the house were above and beyond (laundry soap, coffee beans, phone chargers connected in the bedrooms. The house was very clean and looked like the photos. There was also a double washer/dryer and lots of pool towels. Zach & Betsy were very responsive from the time we booked the rental until the time we checked out. We can’t wait to visit again and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in or around Chisago City.

Michelle & Jason were amazing hosts—proactive in communicating and immediately responsive to our questions. The house is beautiful with every thoughtful detail imaginable to make our stay comfortable and easy—from artfully created signage, clear instructions and a welcome basket of snacks to incredibly well stocked kitchen and bathrooms with high end appliances and quality dishes and drink ware. It truly felt like they anticipated our every need. The lakeside location with beautiful views from most rooms made it feel extra special. We definitely hope to return.

Our second visit was just as great as the first. Beautiful location on a small lake with lots of bird watching. Easy access to interstate to get to nearby cities with all the restaurants and activities. All the necessary amenities are available in the super clean house. The couple of times we needed help there were quick responses and solutions. We loved it so much we will be back for a third visit.

Our family has strong roots in the many towns in this area. This home provided the perfect anchor for us while we traveled to spend time with family and friends and celebrate my father’s life. The home was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the view of the lake. I would recommend staying there.

We loved every minute of our stay. The cabin and location were fantastic. Monica is an amazing host and we left with wonderful memories.
