Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Strömstad

We felt welcome in the house of the host Lars. Had a cozy long weekend and got to use the beautiful garden. Will be happy to come back!

Incredibly shared and large summerhouse with 3 good bedrooms. Felt very homey and cozy. Many personal decor items, such as carpets, delivering plants, lights. It felt very cozy and like being at home. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped. Great knives and lots of service! Also for kids. Large utility room with washing machine, dryer, drying rack and our large twin stroller. The bathroom is a little special with the two toilets and two sinks, but in practice, with smaller children, it turned out to work perfectly. Great with both a tub and shower. Very lovely outdoor area, large terrace with great views! We sat one night on the terrace with blankets and could hear music from the nearby campsite - it was very cozy. There is an additional dining table in the kitchen with a stroke bench. For us, it worked well as a crea/play table for the kids all day long.

Everything was as described and expected. Very flexibel, inconvenient and easy. Andreas showed up after check in for a personal chat. We felt very welcomed and comfortable.

Beautiful house with many windows, giving you a beautiful view and lots of light. Anything you need is present. Then he welcomed us and gave us tips for walks. The island is beautiful and quiet. We saw deer and foxes every day during our walks. The seafood restaurant is nearby and recommended. Don't forget to bring some groceries because there is no shop on the island.

We were a group of 10 friends from different countries and came for a long weekend together. We had a great time at Annika and Jonas’ place. Their house is beautiful and well arranged, modern but still with the vibes from its history. The house and its surroundings have many amenities (hot tub, sauna, kayaks, …) and it was great to be so close to the water and nature. It’s also easy to do groceries in the nearby town. Going by public transportation may be possible but a car would be recommended. I can only highly recommend this house for a group of friends or with a family. We loved it!!

We were very lucky to stay at the Villa Lillebo for 2 weeks. First of all, it was fantastic. When you drive onto the property, the glittering lake immediately catches your eye and you immediately feel like you are in another world. The house is equipped with everything you need and it is furnished with a lot of love down to the last detail. This of course also applies to the very well-kept outdoor area, the newly built terrace with a comfortable whirlpool and the sauna house with its own small sun terrace. We spent many beautiful hours at the barbecue area where you can enjoy the sunset over the lake by a campfire. The jetty invites you to explore the lake by boat or canoe. Checking in and out worked without any problems and communication with the lovely hosts went smoothly. Villa Lillebo is a place of tranquility, peace and harmony with nature. This is a really excellent place. The apartment was really nice, clean, and cosy. The host had made excellent descriptions, and they were really nice. The surroundings were also really nice and quiet. There were many places to walk, a lot of nature. There are only positive things to say about this place :)

Very pleasant stay at a very nice place. Everything was clean and we could park our bikes directly in front of the house.

Perfect accommodation for two. Everything you need is there and the balcony with afternoon and evening sun is really lovely. Although the accommodation is in a smaller residential area, it feels very secluded and private. No transparency. It is also a good starting point if you want to discover the west coast. The accommodation is fresh with comfortable beds and a comfortable sofa.

Nice little basement apartment that my mother-in-law lived in! Had everything you needed and was well taken care of. Great location. It was a bit difficult to climb the stairs for an elderly woman, but it went well when we helped. Would recommend to others!

The place and location was as described.- We liked it and we felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, there were some cleaning issues and you might want to consider whether cleaning by holiday guests is the best solution.

Highly recommended: Take the free ferry to the center of Fredrikstad or to Gamle By from the ferry pier about 400 m away

We recently spent a few days in Emma’s charming house and had a delightful experience. The house is spacious yet cozy, impeccably clean, and equipped with all the essentials. The dining area is beautifully designed and adds a lovely touch to the space. We appreciated the convenience of having private parking. The surroundings are peaceful, with a supermarket nearby, and stunning stone formations just a five-minute drive away. Emma is an outstanding host—responsive, hospitable, and always ready to assist. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful and comfortable retreat.

Accommodation was great for us for a few days' stay on the west coast. It is just far enough from central Kungshamn that you will not be disturbed by nightlife, but at the same time an okay walking distance to restaurants and taxi boats over to Smögen. There is also a swimming area right next to the accommodation to be able to take a dip. The apartment's kitchen has everything you need to cook lighter meals and overall a well-equipped accommodation. We also received a very good and pleasant reception from Karin. Both when we had questions, but also that she asked us to let her know if there was anything. We were very pleased with the accommodation, which suited our needs well. 🌸☀️
