Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Strömstad Municipality

The location, the location, the location. If you love nature and beautiful views, this is the place for you. Close to beautiful beaches, cliffs and nature, so it takes your breath away. But still close to Strömstad city with a good selection of grocery stores and activities if you do not just want to enjoy nature and hiking. The cottage has a large living room with a larger dining table. There is a lovely fireplace. Perfect for chilly evenings (or days). The kitchen is airy, fresh and very well equipped. The bedrooms have a wonderful cottage charm with well-preserved retro wallpaper (in 2 rooms). Here, it feels like the cottage is loved by those who own it. Many memories can be held at the same time, while it is stripped down enough for your own leisure to take place. Only pluses in our book! Hope to be able to return.🌼

We are super happy with our stay! The accommodation was just like in the pictures – clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed, and the host was very helpful and available throughout the stay. We felt really welcome and would definitely book again. Highly recommended!

Had a great stay in the cabin of Stian and the family. It suited us very well with small children who made all dinners at home until the weekend, the cabin had everything we needed and was cozy in addition. Spacious rooms and plenty of space for luggage. Recommended! Nice hiking areas, playgrounds, camping nearby, and a good starting point for trips along the coast.

As soon as we walked in the door, we felt at home, we were 4 children and 4 adults, there were boxes of toys around and it felt like a lived in friendly family house. no complaints, perhaps the bedrooms were a bit cramped and could have done with some more clothes storage space along with a window that opened in the double bedroom. Perfect place for children no cars / roads and we had a wonderful week.

We had a wonderful stay on Patrick and Åsa's place. The accommodation is perfectly located with a clear sight over the sea, and equipped with everything necessary for a pleasant time. We can clearly recommend !

Very nice, decent and neat house. From outside where it wasn't so spectacular out until you walked in, you almost got speechless. Very well-maintained and nice with a huge view of the harbor and the sea. Large nice rooms and very good beds. Nice large living room where could gather and have a strategy meeting and make activity plans.

A lovely apartment with good outdoor areas. Located in quiet neighborhood with walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Lots of great experiences/ hikes in the nearby area.

Had a brilliant stay with good summer weather. Nice with a pool in the garden to enjoy. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the harbor, made it not necessary to get in the car. The host's follow-up and help made us feel at home. Nice location with an hour drive to Gothenburg and an hour back to Norway. Would love to come back.

We were a family with grandmother and two sons, me and two children of 6 and 3 years, who visited the incredibly nice place and the house in Havstensund. The house was great, very homey and contained all the equipment we needed for the weekend. In addition, there were lots of activities for children and adults of games and toys both outside and inside. The kids especially enjoyed the little beautiful doll house in the garden😍 Short way to the beach with swimming area, short way to playground, a local incredibly nice bistro with very good seafood and an ice bar next door. Håkan and Lisen as hosts were very helpful both before, during and after we left our stay. Warmth and good people who responded quickly to what we were wondering about. Can really recommend both the house and these hosts, and should not ignore the fact that we will be back in the future. Many thanks for us❤️☺️

We are a family of four with two teenage boys. This was the third year in a row we spent a long weekend at Johan and Reina’s place. It is a spacious, well equipped house without being generic or over-done as so many AirBnbs tend to be. It is just authentic, lovable and personal - as are its host who are experienced, generous hosts in the best meaning of the word. We would definitely recommend the house to anyone who wants to experience Swedish skjärgård, its quiet and idyllic nature.

Very nice and well-equipped house, both regarding kitchen equipment and for activities (toys, games and more). An absolutely fantastic location with space to hang out both in the garden, on the porch, jetty and inside the home. We were a large family and were also able to invite friends to celebrate a holiday.

Great place and atmosphere. We arrived in the evening when it was dark and we felt very welcome when lights were lit in candlesticks and lanterns. Really nice. Really one place to recommend. I surprised my family by going here and everyone was absolutely blown away at how great it was. Jacuzzi with superstructure on the terrace was a highlight for us. We have already talked about that we want to go back and have recommended the place to friends. We wish there were a little better beds in 2 of the bedrooms ,but it wasn't one big issue.

My family from the USA had a lovely stay at Sanna's place on Hamburgo. The views were amazing and home was so comfortable, beautiful, spacious, and in an amazing location overlooking the water. Fun surprises included an apple tree in the yard and the cozy heated floor of the master bathroom. We would definitely stay here again!
