Shore cottage steps away from warm sandy feet

Strathmere is amazing and the last place on the shore with a quiet laid back beach scene with great neighbors, spacious beaches and a chill attitude. If you're looking for the super nice brand new squeaky clean sterile beach house stacked on top of another overcrowded condo (more focused on AC and amenities), I don't think you should rent this house. People become upset when they realize that my place is an old beach cottage with a great deck and backyard and a minute walk to the beach.

Beautiful first floor, 1 bedroom/1.5 bath beach block OCNJ condo. There is a second story deck over looking the ocean. The condo was completely renovated. Large master bedroom with full bathroom. There is an updated kitchen, large refrigerator, Wifi, two HDTVs , DVD player, Central AC and a washer/dryer. There is Sac O Subs, Mallon's Bakery and A la Mode ice cream within walking minutes from the condo. One mile from Corson's inlet for boating and kayaking. We rent all year.

this place was a diamond in the rough. the pictures don’t do it justice! so nice and clean and had tons of amenities. it actually has FOUR full bathrooms because there is a bathroom in the downstairs storage area that has a toilet sink AND shower. the location is just steps from the beach and on the quiet/nice end of OCNJ. Michelle was lovely, kind, and responsive! We want to book for next year!

Absolutely incredible stay! The location couldn’t have been better — literally steps from the boardwalk, which made everything so easy and fun. The space itself was beautifully designed with so much thought and care put into every little detail — it felt like staying in a boutique hotel but even better. On top of that, the host was beyond amazing — friendly, incredibly responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect trip. Truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had — can’t wait to come back!

Ocean & Marsh Views Penthouse - Spacious 1900sqft!

The condo was beautiful with plenty of space for 7 of us. The kitchen was great with lots of pots and pans, plates, bowls, silverware, with a wine fridge and plenty of glasses and coffee mugs (you'd be surprised at the lack of enough plates and drinking vessels in Airbnbs we've come across). The covered porch and the rooftop deck were an added bonus. The beach is lovely, and although you need to drive to the downtown shops and most restaurants, it is not a deterrent because the area the condo is in is quiet and worth being a little further out. We enjoyed the condo very much- although the weather was cool for June, we did use the air conditioner upstairs and they worked great. Each room has air conditioning and a ceiling fan, so you have options for your comfort level. The fireplace is a nice feature and we used it a couple of nights (just for ambiance, not heat). We would definitely book this condo again!

Craig’s home was extremely clean, thoughtfully arranged, and clearly well cared for. Every room felt fresh and inviting, with everything in its place. The highlight, without a doubt, was the view of the bay. Whether you were relaxing indoors or enjoying the rooftop, the scenery was breathtaking. The rooftop space, in particular, offered a perfect spot to unwind, with panoramic views that were especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset. The location is another major plus. This specific street along the bay is peaceful and open, giving it a much more relaxed and private feel compared to some of the busier, more tightly packed nearby areas. It truly felt like a hidden gem—quiet, serene, and ideal for a calm getaway.

Mark was a great host. The property had plenty of space and all the ammenties we needed. It was great having 3 1/2 baths- gave us lots of privacy. Needed to drive to the board walk but the beach was less crowded.
