Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Stranda

This was our first visit to the Norway; traveling from North Carolina, USA. Åshild's place was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful and clean. Perfect location for exploring the area. She was the perfect host, there if we needed her but not intrusive. We'd stay here again if we're ever back in the area. Highly recommend.

The accommodation is exactly as described – everything was clean and well prepared. The hostess was very nice and helpful. We felt completely comfortable and were very satisfied with our stay. Gladly again!

A fantastic property, exactly as described, with all needs taken care of. All major attractions within a 30 minute drivable distance and a grocery store that sells practically everything literally at your doorstep We really should have planned to stay for longer than 2 days.

Beautiful apartment with great ocean views and great location! We had one night in Alesund and it was the perfect place to walk from to see the town. The viewpoint walk is right nearby too. Nikolas was super friendly and responsive, offering help the whole way! Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to this charming town!

Our stay was very pleasant! The place is clean, spacious and very well equipped - it was easy to prepare food and to clean (ourselves and after ourselves!) The host made sure to make it extra welcoming, it truly felt like home for these few days. I definitely recommend 🙌

Lovely apartment in the center of Ålesund. Very easy access to the town swimming pool in centrum and also to the reasonable parking garage inside a mountain called Aksla. Having the washer/dryer and full kitchen was very helpful to us. Views of the town and water and islands were remarkable. There is no lift in the building so be prepared to climb 3 flights up to the apartment. Incredibly quiet for such an old building. The lighting is sophisticated by a little funky but the host will brief you.

5* doesnt do this place justice. An absolute gem, the best place we've stayed in our two weeks in Norway. The house itself is wonderful, nestled in the trees with views to Hornelen its very well equipped with everything you need and spotlessly clean. Siri, Asle and their family were wonderful hosts, Siri provided so many suggestions for things to do and tailored these to the weather and our young child. They werent intrusive but made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay, best airbnb hosts we've ever stayed with!

We had a fantastic stay at Lars' house! The views from the modern jacuzzi were absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The house itself is spacious and beautifully designed, with a large, well-equipped kitchen that made cooking a pleasure. We especially appreciated the use of the nearby boat for a bit of adventure on the water, and the charming hiking cabin up on the mountain was a cosy retreat to warm up in if needed. Don’t miss the nearby Likholefossen waterfall—it's definitely worth a visit! Lars was a friendly and generous host who made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

Beyond beautiful! The stunning location is something our family (kids 12 & 15) will remember always. Waking up and looking out at the view was almost surreal. We especially loved meals on the deck and a short walk down to the water to swim. The cabin had everything we needed and is super cute and clean. Tons to explore a short distance away. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return! The home was clean, and well equipped. We spent all of our evenings on the deck enjoying the fresh air and gorgeous view (there was even a heat lamp to keep us warm). The home was a short drive from many hiking and biking opportunities.

Feeling like home as soon as you open the main door, that is the feeling we had the very first moment we stepped in. Very clean, cozy and decorated with absolute taste. It is one of the most equipped places I have ever been... there is everything you can imagine and that you might need. And everything is perfectly organized and clean that it makes it easy to use and put it back where it belongs. 10 minutes drive from the house you have a 24/7 small super market open where you can get anything you need. The house deserves the absolutely maximum possible star rating and so does the host. Smart advice: do follow the instructions of the host to find it... google maps does not help. This place was perfect for our needs. Group of six. Came in for one night. Able to make a great dinner the kitchen. Great nights sleep. Easy access to the via feratta. Would stay agin! Great place.

Vibeke's apartment is superbly equipped, very clean and very cozy. It also has a nice little balcony to relax and everything is very modern. In the kitchen you will find everything you need. The location is particularly good - you can walk to the city in five minutes and to the Aksla overlook in a quarter of an hour. The location is really perfect.

Janne provided a very friendly welcome and her flat has a fantastic view across Selje, out to sea and islands. It was lovely to sit on the sheltered patio and watch the view with the changing weather and light. The flat provided everything we needed - very comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, great shower and access to a washing machine and dryer. There is very easy access to some walking trails behind the house which take you up to some great viewpoints and mountain scenery beyond. The beach was sandy and the sea looked enticing but we never quite plucked up enough courage to take the plunge - it was cold! Overall, a great base for exploring this stretch of coastline.

A comfortable night between longer stops, the house was comfortable and modern. The house belongs to a family who normally live there but we were able to use it fully. The price is excellent partly because you are expected to make up the beds and clean the flat yourself, which makes a nice change from exorbitant and arbitrary cleaning fees that some properties charge. The town itself didn’t really impress us but it was very good as a stopover.

We only spent one night at Pawel's apartment but enjoyed our stay. The apartment is rather small but still offers more than enough space for two people. It is located between Aksla and the city in a rather quiet neighborhood. You can enjoy nice views from the terrace and are still in the city center within 10 minutes by car. Communication with Pawel was always friendly and seamless.
