We had the most amazing stay at Upton Borne Lodge for my best mates Hen. Nothing was too much trouble for the host and they came with so many recommendations of activities & food from the local area. The house was spotless and just as described with flexible options for sleeping arrangements. The hot tub, pools, sauna were perfect additions. We didn’t leave all weekend as we had everything we needed! Gill & George were so helpful with everything and it’s well worth the price!

We had a phenomenal time! The whole house was spotless and the kitchen was so well equipped. We cooked all meals at home and had lovely dinners outside. The garden is absolutely stunning and a dip in the pond was a great thing to do every morning. Thank you so much Ian, we hope to come back again!

I booked this wonderful property for my best friend's hen do. 10 of us stayed here and hired the property for the weekend. We paid for the garden games, escape room, wine tasting and bbq use for one day. We had the most amazing weekend, we had an entire packed itinerary for almost every hour of the whole weekend from everything available on site and had the best time, we almost didn't have enough time to enjoy every amenity. Not only was the property expansive and full of activities ,even if we didn't pay for extras, but the hosts were incredibly welcoming. From taking time out of their own weekends to check we had everything we needed to setting up games, awarding prizes and giving the bride keepsakes for her wedding they couldn't have made us felt more welcome. Waking up in the morning there were horses, sausage dogs and incredible views paired with a kareoke room and a swimming pool. A site that can accommodate a plethora of activities, we would definitely revisit.

We loved staying at the Coach house it was just as in the pictures, and clean/comfortable with many mod cons. The Cream tea provided was delicious and the milk from the Milkiosk was fun/special. Our spaniel loved the field to run round in, although he was a bit naughty on occasion straying with the excitement. The pool is heaven, especialy as it is timetabled per unit meaning we had it all to ourselves for our turns (what a great idea). Just a great location with some lovely beaches and walks along the coastline. We loved it so much we have already booked again for next year.

This was the best air b and b stay I’ve had! It was so peaceful and quiet. I booked it for my mums birthday and she was blown away by the property. If you are looking to get away and relax this is the place! Everything was such high quality and felt very homely. Thank you ☺️

Everything about Sarah’s place was terrific. The pool is amazing and worth the trip all by itself! Sarah met me and was incredibly welcoming. The bedrooms are comfortable and we spent a long time around the dining room table just having the best time. I imagine winter here would be amazing.

We booked a 3 night stay in the week. Harry’s place was fantastic. He supplied enough breakfast items to feed a few people, which was such a bonus . The house was lovely, really homely and comfortable. Our pooch was catered for too. Some really beautiful walks from the house into the woods, which we all enjoyed. The coast was about 30mins drive, which we did visit. One thing to note, some of the local restaurants/takeaways were not open until midweek which wasn’t a deal breaker but good to know. The Pig at Combe was a great place to visit and eat, dogs allowed in the Folly, highly recommend. Communication from Harry was great and we did get to meet him as they only live next door. We would definitely like to visit again.

Beautiful, quirky cottage in a great spot with lovely garden and stream. We had an amazing 3 night stay with 11yr old, 8yr old and our dog in this lovely cottage. Great walks from the door, an easy walk to the pub and lovely beaches a bit further afield. It's so peaceful and surpassed expectations, shame kids had to go back to school as we would have loved to stay longer. Hosts are super responsive and really helpful. Worth noting there are a lot of ticks on the moor so worth bringing spray and tick removers. Thanks and we hope to come back.

We've just finished our 2nd stay and everything is still just as perfect as the 1st. Liz is always friendly and helpful, happy to leave to your stay but there with a wave and a "good morning!" if you cross paths during your stay! There's also a really helpful welcome pack left for you upon arrival, with loads of recommendations for places to eat, visit etc. We've followed a few of these during our stays and haven't been disappointed! Regardless of the weather, the Cabin is a relaxing, calm, chilled out stay and one we'd recommend to anyone!

We had a lovely time in this private secluded cottage with everything we needed for a great holiday. We were given detailed information for everything in a useful app. This is a nice little village with access to the coast and Exmoor so plenty to do. The cottage is spacious with a nice patio area and plenty of room. However the garden has been neglected which blocks the nice view over the valley, the grass was cut on Thursday though which helped as our dog suffers with grass seeds so before that we had to try and keep her away from it, which was a shame. The parking space is not far but is really an overgrown lay-by and only really suitable for one car although 2 small cars may be possible. But overall you’ll have a great time here.

Luke is a fabulous host! Not only is the cottage idyllic, peaceful and charming, but Luke left us some goodies for our arrival. These included a bottle of fizz, some delicious bread and eggs from the chickens he keeps on his small holding. There was loads of good recommendations for walks and activities within the cottage and Luke trod a wonderful balance between giving us our space and being there to offer advice and recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the countryside!

Always loved loved this part of the world so I knew what was coming. However, the place you stay on holiday can make a big difference. The studio is a really nice accommodation. Nicely decorated and kept very well - couldn't fault a thing. The Studio has absolutely beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed our time there and will be recommending it to our family and friends. I booked very last minute after another host cancelled. Deborah’s place was clean, well furnished, comfortable, warm and had all the things we needed. It’s a lovely setting down a private track with wonderful countryside views. The communication was quick and easy and I’m very happy to recommend. There were even some complimentary home made cakes which went down very well. I hope to come back again another time!

The house is well eqipped and exceptionally clean amd well presented. Joannas commincation was excellent. Ease of parking a bonus. Thank you. We will return.

We had a fantastic time here as a group of five. Claire had thought of everything, she was a kind and friendly host. We appreciated all the lovely touches from Claire as host. The studio exceeded expectations and looks even better in person than in the photos. We would 100% recommend this! Thank you.

William was a wonderful host and his place was lovely, great area for an Airbnb. We would recommend to our family and friends and would come back if we are ever back in this area again.

The cottage is in a lovely location with beautiful views. It is comfortable, clean and well equipped. Walkers can set out straight from the door. Our host was on hand if needed but not obtrusive. A very relaxing break.

Owlscombe exceeded our expectations. The setting, views & garden are stunning. The property is extremely well equipped & had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. There's a large paved patio overlooking the sea, lawned area perfect for garden games & an enchanting 'woodland' style garden. There is a plentiful supply of crockery, glassware & cutlery so we didn't run out of anything before the dishwasher was full (there are two - which helps keep the kitchen free of dirty dishes). We especially appreciated the generous supply of mugs & that there were large mugs (my partner always takes his own when we go away as so many places only have small ones!). The stairgates & high chair we requested were set up ready for our arrival. Our party included a young baby & an 87 year old, so it was important to us to stay somewhere it was a pleasure to spend time rather than just use as a base. Owlscombe was perfect & Stuart couldn't have been more helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Otterhead House! There were 10 of us in total, including kids, and the house was incredibly spacious and comfortable for everyone. The views from the property are stunning — a real highlight of the stay. The house was beautifully equipped with everything we needed, and the attention to detail was clear from the moment we arrived. George and Sarah are fantastic hosts — they left us a lovely welcome hamper with local produce and the best lemon drizzle cake we’ve ever had (which didn’t last long!). Their communication was excellent and very prompt, both before and during our stay. They even sent us a helpful video to guide us to the property and explain how to use the heating, hot tub, and sauna, which was a nice touch. We honestly couldn’t fault a single thing about the house or the hosts. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

A great place to stay. Very comfortable. Lots of crockery, cutlery and pots & pans. great friendly communication prior to our stay. Was the perfect location for us to see family over Christmas and the house was decorated beautifully.

Just had one of the most brilliant stays at "Little Spindles". A fantastic eco-built property situated down a quite lane with everything needed for a peaceful, relaxing time away. Inside, the property is just amazing; so clean and tidy, with top quality fixture and fittings and tastefully decorated. The garden area is mainly laid to lawn and is large and private, thanks to surrounding trees and shrubs. There's a little stream at the bottom of the garden and we were fortunate enough to see a kingfisher during our stay! It's close to the centre of Ashburton (lovely little place!) and ideally positioned for a wide variety of sightseeing and walking trips. Poppy is a great host and is always on hand to offer help when needed. We look forward to a return visit!
