Holiday rentals with beach access in Stone Town

Mussa was very kind and flexible. We had a health emergency, which made our plans changed. Mussa was very accommodating of the different needs we had through out all the time we stayed in the airbnb. We had really good communication with Mussa. The apartment looks like the photographs, is spacious, clean and quiet. Quite comfortable for a couple of days in Stonetown. We weren’t able to explore much the neighborhood. The beach is close, but not super close. Downtown is close, but not super close. Probably easier to move by car/taxi if you consider staying here.

Racheal is the ideal host, every time we had a question she responded very quickly. Her apartment is lovely with a fantastic view of the sunset. She was very flexible with us and aloud us to delay our checkout by four hours. All in all we had a lovely time, thank you Racheal! Andy

Superbe appartement à Fumba ! L’appartement est non seulement propre, mais aussi très bien agencé, ce qui le rend particulièrement agréable à vivre. Un grand merci à Larissa pour son accueil chaleureux, sa disponibilité et ses précieux conseils tout au long de mon séjour. Elle a également organisé plusieurs activités pour moi, ce qui a vraiment enrichi mon expérience sur place. Je recommande vivement cet hébergement à tous ceux qui souhaitent passer un excellent séjour à Fumba !

Charles/ Paul ist super nett und hilfsbereit, einfach ein ganz freundlicher Mensch. Zurvorkommend, auch wenn die Unterhaltungen auf Englisch manchmal etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig waren, er hat immer geholfen, alles gemacht wie besprochen. Sehr respektvoll hilfsbereit. Danke für die Hilfe beim Umzug. einzig allein, der Pool war nicht begehbar, das war etwas schade für die Kinder. Ansonsten top für das Geld.

We had a great few weeks in the apartment. There are guards at the gate to the apartments, which makes you feel very safe. We had good communication with Khalid throughout our stay. We also organized a lovely trip to Mikumi National Park through the host. The apartment is nicer than in the pictures! We are very happy with our stay, and would consider coming back at a later time! Highly recommended!

Moza was great communicated well and provided a great place to stay. The location has a lot of stuff within walking distance so it was very convenient and safe.

Our 5 day stay at Zuhura’s Airbnb was outstanding! From the start, Zuhura was incredibly kind, friendly, and always quick to respond to any questions. The place itself was immaculate and wonderful. It’s central location was perfect, putting us within easy walking distance of many beautiful spots, malls and restaurants making the area convenient and enjoyable. The stay with Kurtis was incredible. The place was absolutely beautiful (a real paradise). We truly felt at home. Kurtis was extremely responsive to everything we needed. We stayed for a month and worked remotely from the home with no problems at all. A great getaway for the digital nomad or someone wanting to disconnect from it all. 6 stars if I could give that. Thank you Kurtis!

We stayed at Eta's Airbnb last year and came back again because we liked it so much!!! The A/C in the bedrooms is great, I love the location, the decor and little extras are thoughtful and we love that the suite is on the main floor. The only downside this year was, the neighbours upstairs were louder than last year with a screaming toddler who was often up by 5:00 am. The master bedroom had windows facing the courtyard and it was very loud. I would still stay at this suite again though!!! Thanks Romain and Eta... see you next year!!!

Stayed 9 nights with my husband (June 2025). Great communication. Got collected at the airport by Suileman (sorry if spelling is wrong!)..we had a hire car so husband followed us behind..would be very hard to find otherwise. We were greeted by Said and Josephine with fresh coconuts... the house is just like the photos. Absolutely stunning. Beautiful gardens and clean pool with incredible views. Incredibly clean..bedrooms were gorgeous as was the bathrooms. Everything you may need was included. Staff were so helpful. Said took my husband out to show us where to buy bread. There are 2 local supermarkets...very expensive and mostly sold UK products! Air-conditioning upstairs but not down..I was incredibly hot. There are fans but still humid and hot. All in all..a fantastic holiday. The beach by villa isn't the best..very rocky..but beautiful views from patio area. Watch out for bugs and lizards.. but that's Africa! A truly memorable holiday. We will return one day. Easy 5 stars.

Khalid was an excellent host. He was always responsive and answered all of our questions in advance. He are arranged an in house chef for our group at a reasonable rate. We enjoyed the pool and beautiful setting. The hospitality was good. Rooms were up to standard. The chef was sociable and ready to offer a helping hand. Host could monitor security by setting up Closed -Circuit Television (CCTV) around the facility.

Fantastic location on the ocean, with fabulous views from all terraces and especially from the upper outside deck. Great open plan living space with views and spacious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms . The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind and discreet, always there to greet and assist. The property and gardens are really well designed and have a great flow. Superb walks to the reefs at low tide. The remote location provides great privacy and relaxation, highly recommended. We will be back!

The host is exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure every need is met. Her warmth, attention to detail, and local tips made the experience unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone looking for luxury, tranquility, and a touch of magic in Zanzibar

A beautiful Airbnb and amazing host! The hospitality was great and the surprised breakfast being included was a plus. It was a bit hard to find, but once we did we didn’t want to leave! Wished we stayed at this Airbnb longer!

Incredible, serene and homely place in a quite neighbourhood with good security. Neat home, great furniture. I really enjoyed making breakfast in that kitchen, it had all the utensils we needed. And for the first time after a long while l got to eat breakfast made by my little brother, imagine. What an experience we had. Abdalrahman is a great host, always willing to assist and promptly responded to us. He even gave us good recommendations. Not only was Abdalrahman a great host, what made it even more special was that he partnered us with a great and reliable driver. We were picked up from the airport and that was the start of a memorable week. Yussuf (driver) took us to all the remarkable places and was also so helpful in breaching the language gap when we had to deal with other locals, he even taught us a bit of Swahili. We're definitely coming back!!!

The stay at Mars place was excellent. The place looked exactly like the images. It was very clean as well which I liked. Mars was a very responsive and helpful host and would highly recommend this place. It is a bit of a distance to get to stone town but if you are in no rush theres several available taxis and tuk tuks you can hire. Thanks Mars.

I had a wonderful stay at Riz’s Airbnb apartment in Zanzibar. The space was classic, immaculately clean, and well-maintained. Riz was an excellent host, making the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Zanzibar and look forward to staying here again on my next trip!
