Larissas garden is absolutely beautiful, the pool and hot tub were fantastic. My daughters and dog absolutely loved having so much space in the garden to run about. The barn is gorgeous, has all amenities and is with a couple of minutes walk from a great pub.

We had a wonderful week at Easter at Cooden Cottage. Ella was amazing and even helped us find a lost dog! The house is spotless, and beyond our expectations. The flow of the downstairs through to an amazing kitchen, conservatory and completely fenced garden was perfect for us and our two large dogs and we had several family get togethers in the garden, surrounded by greenery. The beds, bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent with plenty is space. We met Ella twice and it is clear that she is passionate about giving her guests a really special experience, from thoughtful touches to all rooms to a lovely welcome pack. While there, she wants her guests to feel that it is space and she completely achieved that. We felt at home and will definitely be back. Thank you!

We had a lovely week in Plantagenet and really cannot recommend it enough; the cottage really exceeded our expectations. The garden is phenomenal. It was a private and tranquil escape and our collie thoroughly enjoyed doing laps of the large garden despite the rainy weather. We loved it from the moment we arrived and didn't want to leave. The cottage is well equipped, has a great cosy ambiance with lots of indoor and outdoor game options no matter what the weather. The communication with Tim&Maite was friendly and responsive, we particularly appreciated the slightly late check out. We are hoping to book again soon with more of our family joining us.

A lovely modern cottage, exactly as described and photographed. It was well kitted out and essentials were provided. The bed was super comfortable but just a gentle note that if you have any mobility issues the apex of the roof means that you cannot stand up straight around the bed and the bed is low but this was not a problem on our stay. Helena and Philip were both really friendly and helpful. My personal favourite touch was when Philip invited me to pick some roses from the cottage garden to take inside. The hot tub was a real treat but please be mindful that you are in someone’s back garden so not completely secluded if they are enjoying their own space. Highly recommend, we would definitely go back.

What a beautiful cottage! Exactly like on the photos, very charming. Surroundings are stunning, hot tub was a treat. The kitchen is very well equipped with anything you might need. Beds were comfortable and cozy. The conservatory was great to just sit and play board games and have lovely meals, was nice and warm and toastie in there and the views!! Pauline’s communication and response times were excellent, very friendly and accommodating. All I would suggest, if possible is perhaps to think of some sort of covers/shelter from the cold/wind by the hot tub. It was very windy and we still wanted to enjoy the hot tub, but it got very cold whilst inside. Some sort of coverings will work a treat. Pauline suggested some great pubs and things to do in the area. All and all my friends and I had a lovely stay. Thanks Pauline!

Myself and daughter had a great weekend at Blackthorn. Beautiful, peaceful countryside location with pool and hot tub. Our stay was comfy and cosy with everything we needed. Had a great meal at a local pub too and only a short drive into rye. Peter was an excellent host.

From start to finish, this place is an absolute dream. So peaceful and relaxing, it was the perfect little weekend getaway. The house and surroundings were absolutely spotless, the ducks were adorable, and the attention to detail with providing extras needed for comfort was superb. Clare was a fantastic host. Always responsive but never intrusive. If you're looking for somewhere to stay for a few days or more with your partner - or just on your own - where you can recharge your batteries, this is it.

We stayed at Nina's in the Easter holiday with our two younger children. All of us were left enchanted by her beautiful home! we would love to revisit in the near future. The living room and open plan kitchen was perfect for our family. We enjoyed eating our meals with the garden doors wide open. I must say the garden stole the show with it's spacious hot tub! It's situated in such a mesmerising location where you look out to fields. Sheep can be heard constantly- something my three year old absolutely loved! We miss the serenity of the countryside and the beautiful views from the house! Definitely worth a visit! The surrounding areas are simply superb!

Such a tranquil, beautiful setting with views of the rolling countryside and woodland walks on the doorstep. Inside, Little House is akin to a boutique hotel with a standalone roll-top bath and lots of thoughtful touches such as flowers from the garden and local apple juice. I stayed at Little House as part of recovery from a major surgery and couldn’t have asked for anywhere more perfect!

A lovely, comfortable cottage. All mod cons with benefit of the old cottage vibe. Well maintained, private, great location for local pub/shop/days out. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Staying at Jo’s cottage was so pleasant and blissful. It was the perfect weekend away. I stayed with my pup and we were both comfortable and secure. I brought groceries with me to cook but the cottage had coffee, tea, olive oil, and a few bits of seasonings which I think was a really thoughtful touch and so useful. The kitchen has everything you need! The secure front garden was also ideal and perfect for letting the dog out and not being worried about him wandering off. It’s also a really beautiful spot to sit and read or enjoy some breakfast or lunch if the sun is out. The area itself is very quiet and peaceful. It’s the best location if you’re a single person looking for a place to stay and enjoy nature.

We loved our stay here! One of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve visited. Anya was super helpful and included lots of tiny details that made the stay extra smooth, particularly as we were visiting with our 5 month old. Thanks for having us and we’d love to come stay again.

Amazing place and beautiful location. So quiet and picturesque. The homemade apple juice was a lovely addition and the freshly cut flowers were a nice treat and the recommendation for the local walks was great. We all enjoyed the table tennis and table football, it got very competitive!!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. Highlights were: amazing location right on the quiet beach, lovely garden with shade for hot days plus sunny spots too, large comfortable open plan living space, the coffee machine (complete with supply of pods), welcome basket, great position between Rye and Hastings - great for cafes and mooching round interesting shops - and variety of local walks on beaches and in countryside. And the wonderful hot weather we had! Mark was great at communication and checked in with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend and hope to return.

Nettle Fields exceeded our (already high) expectations. The barn design, is very cool. Windows and magnificent glass doors in every room allow the beauty of the outside to blend with the clean lines and calmness inside. It’s an incredible space which felt both tranquil and homely. The interior was immaculate, stylish, creative and high quality throughout. Our hosts, Michael and Toby were excellent and attentive. They were available promptly and were so kind and considerate. This is the best place we’ve stayed in and I cannot recommend it enough. I would give 6 stars if available.

My wife and I stayed for a few nights as a peaceful getaway, and the property was amazing and perfect. Roz was very proactive in sending us instructions prior to our visit, and was very responsive to any questions or queries we had. She is based on-site and so was easily contactable when we needed. She is a very flexible and accommodating host who resolved any questions or issues we ran into during our stay (including running out of tea!), and directed us to nice places to eat. The property is a quaint cottage-like place that is super cosy and has all the amenities we needed, including a space to park right outside. The place was very clean and organised, and had a really nice atmosphere especially when the sun was shining. The dogs Coco and Molly were also so friendly and adorable! Molly came round one evening for a pets and scratches session. Highly recommended and will definitely be trying to come back again.

Wonderful little house, beautifully renovated, in a corner of heaven. the garden is idyllic, the horse and chickens have been the great attraction of our kids and the home produced honey was a treat! My husband is very tall and managed not to hit his head, he had to avoid the kitchen ;). Beds were comfortable and the shower perfect. ann was extremely responsive and accommodating. We loved staying in a place where the host lives, cares about it and can talk to us. It's a perfect place to visit Seven sisters and many other attractions.

I had a brilliant stay at Terrie's place during my time in Newhaven attending a course for work. It was clean, spacious, a lovely kitchen to prep my food in, and a lovely message left on the wall. I will definitely try to book again when im next due in Newhaven for courses & work.

Very clean and tidy house, well organised with lots of information and suggestions from the owner. Beautiful windows on every side of the house overlooking the garden and the nature around. We would definitely come back. P.S. Loved Lynda’s lemon cake! :)

Was an amazing cabin. Really beautiful and typical English countryside. We loved the area and nearby walks on public footpaths and other parks close by. We had great communication, however download everything and direction before coming close to the cabin, there is no cell reception there so we rang the door of one of the houses on the estate to ask direction to the stables. The owners recently moved but the new owner was very nice to help us in the right direction. Perfect place and lovely cottages, there is one small downside but it’s a bit common for the area. Don’t expect too much water pressure for the shower.

Staying with Eve was truly wonderful. From the moment I reached out, she was incredibly responsive and kind, always ready to answer my questions and make sure I felt comfortable. She went above and beyond to accommodate my evening check-in, and just made me feel at ease from the start. But what made my stay so special was Eve herself. She is a wise, compassionate, and genuinely caring soul. I was going through a tough time during my trip, and she offered such heartfelt support and gentle encouragement that it honestly gave me a renewed sense of hope. Her presence is calming, and her words are filled with insight — I found myself truly uplifted just by being around her. Eve isn’t just a wonderful host; she’s the kind of person who leaves a lasting impression. I can’t recommend staying with her enough. If you're considering booking — don’t hesitate. You’ll be in the best hands.

We had such a lovely time here. It’s a really beautiful place to stay, the grounds are magical, the house is very clean and beautifully decorated. The area is stunning with so much nature. Such good value for money as well. Christopher was an exceptionally welcoming and kind host. Highly recommend. We will be back!
