Lake house holiday rentals in Stockport

Terrific home, really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful, very relaxing, close to amenities, lovely view from the living room and porch that brought a serene vibe to the whole place; we had a ball! Would definitely book again!

Love this place 'perfect in every way 😄 .House lovely with every room stylish & modern ' beds so comfortable- plenty of space all around ' river outside the door lovely for walks / fishing / 😀 Take aways & superstore few minutes away. IVe rented property's around manchester city center for about 9 months now every week for myself and work lads and this beats them all hands down 😄 Location / comfort / cleanliness / Definitely will be booking this again whenever i can 😄

Diana was an amazing host. She ensured that our check in was easy and self explanatory. Her home is absolutely stunning, it’s a spacious beautiful new build with a spacious garden. The home was absolutely clean and we had no issues at all with anything. The home is located in an amazing area and was easy for us to get around Manchester. There was a lot of local shops in the area. She provided us with a descriptive video explaining how use the essentials in the home such as the heater , checking in etc. She had very good communication throughout our stay and was so lovely. Diana even gave us a complimentary bottle of Prosecco Rose which perfectly fitted the theme as me and my two friends were staying for my graduation celebration. Overall, we had an amazing time and will 100% be staying there again!

Amazing five bedroom house beautifully situated on the edge of Lymm village over looking the lake. Steve is a fantastic host, excellent communication, video on how to find the key box and code. The property is immaculate and well set out. There was ample bedding and towels. pots and pans etc, you want for nothing. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

Jade was a very helpful host. The area is traditional for the area, lovely nature reserve on back of rear garden for walks. The cottage is just lovely. Warm and cosy. We will definitely return here.

This place was perfect for what we needed and perfect for our dog, right out the back there’s a nice forested area for walking dogs and it’s situated close to shops :) would recommend!

**Absolutely Perfect Stay!** My two friends and I, along with our 3 young children, had an incredible experience at this homestay. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The place was spotless—cleanliness was clearly a top priority, and it made the stay feel even more comfortable and relaxing with the lovely addition of the hottub! The location couldn’t have been better. It was conveniently situated close to everything we needed within a short drive or nice walk, but still peaceful enough to feel like a retreat. The space itself was very cozy and well-furnished, with all the comforts of home. Natasha was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always just a message away if we needed anything! Messages were responded to promptly and smoothly which made everything so easy. Checking in and out was effortless! Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I highly recommend it and would absolutely return in a heartbeat! Thank you!

Laura is an exceptional host. Absolutely brilliant in that she has been flexible and accommodating in more ways than one after having to cancel a stay weeks ago then booking at last minute. Her home is easily accessible, very clean and tidy. Perfect for a two night stay with my son who she also put up in a spare room. Can't fault this experience. Don't hesitate to book again when in the area

Natalie and Tony are the nicest couple ever, very open, friendly and welcoming, definitely recommend staying at the schoolhouse, nice comfy bed and a peaceful nights sleep.

Great stay, great location for working in Manchester. Host was fantastic, helpful and fast responses especially when I locked myself out he was round within the hour to get us back in

We really enjoyed staying at Jan’s property. We stayed here whilst visiting family and friends but wanted our own space with our two small children and it was absolutely perfect. We felt right at home and very comfortable. Jan is an amazing host we even walked in to a homemade banana bread which was a lovely touch. Everything felt very easy and straightforward. Jan had left a house manual with everything you needed and more. We will definitely be staying again when we next come up to see family :)

Enjoyable stay in an ideal base for Bury and the wider area. Gemma is very responsive and has taken care of lots of the small details that make a good location a great one. Highly recommended.

This place, wow, really wow. Stunning location, beautiful grounds and the cottage flows beautifully. Clean, clutter free and stylishly decorated with everything you would need for a super and relaxing home from home staycation. The host, Freeda, gave a lovely warm welcome, and was super helpful throughout our stay. She was informative with clear directions of how to get there and whats in the area. Freeda and her husband went above and beyond with a lovely surprise gift as we were celebrating our 25th anniversary to the help with a flat tyre on our first morning. We came for a planned overnight but stayed an extra day, simply didn't want to leave. 10 out of 10 for cottage and host.

Lovely little cottage as described. Had everything we needed for a perfect weekend. Host was very responsive, with easy check in. Private, clean and Very comfortable. Would definitely consider staying again. Canal view was a highlight.
