Family-friendly holiday rentals in Stinson Beach

This is my second time staying here and it’s always great!! The place is amazing and Bradley is an amazing host! Will be returning soon one day!

Love BayGlow cottage. I think this was our forth stay. Always peaceful and beautiful. Don’t want to recommend cause it is already always booked, but it was great!

We loved our two nights at Amy’s place with our two pups! I wish we would have planned to stay longer, there was a lot more to explore in the area! It was SO clean. We usually feel like we need to re-clean just to feel ok in Airbnb’s but Amy’s place felt like we were staying at a friend’s place that we trusted. The homemade delivered muffins were a treat and she gave us some awesome local recommendations. The bed was comfortable and it was super quiet!

Virginia and Rita’s place was absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect sanctuary for our stay in Napa with our family. Our baby and dog loved the backyard!

We loved the property and its proximity to the water and two large beaches. The house itself is thoughtfully decorated and has the furnishings and supplies just like it would if someone actually lived there rather than the typical Airbnb “shell” that only has the bare necessities (or less). We did have an unfortunate complication that occurred when we arrived. Things happen, but what matters more than anything is how a host handles an unexpected event. Jay was kind, understanding, and empathetic and did everything needed to make things right. We will absolutely be back.

We have stayed at Nathan’s cottage several times and each time is absolutely incredible! The cottage is so comfortable and beautifully decorated, the surroundings are stunning, and Nathan is so wonderful to communicate with. You just feel surrounded by the nature and beauty of the area. We spent so much time being outside on the lovely deck just soaking up the ambience of the outdoors. It’s such a treat to visit time after time.

Our stay was lovely! The beds and linens were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. The entire home was well stocked and it felt like a second personal home in terms of the quality of items - sharp knives, well stocked pantry for cooking basics, foil, etc. We brought two dogs and it was a paradise for them. The outdoor area is truly magical. The fire pit is great, the downstairs dog shower is handy, and the landscaping is sublime.

We really enjoyed our time here and extended for an extra night. Majestic views of tomales bay/dillon beach from all rooms/deck and 5 min drive down hill to dillon beach which is dog friendly. The dogs had a blast splashing around in the natural tide pools at low tide.

The Fox Lodge is a very spacious home, ideal for group gathering, optimally located near Point Reyes/ Inverness and outdoor activities. The master bedroom suite was gorgeous with an amazing view and comfortable bed. The kitchen was well stoked with state of the art appliances, although a bit dark for food prep and with limited pantry space. The family room was very comfortable and cozy with a beautiful and large L-shaped couch ideal for lounging and relaxing. There is a nice deck off the kitchen/living room for outdoor dining and lounging. We enjoyed are stay!!

No complaints! Location is around a 4-minute drive to the downtown area of Pt. Reyes Station. The cottage feels big -- there's a bedroom, kitchen/dining area, living room, and bathroom. The place is quiet and we had a nice weekend (and liked Jeri's homemade raspberry jam).

My husband and I (along with our 6 month old and our dog) enjoyed a perfect Fathers Day/Birthday weekend at Dennis's cottage! The location couldn't be better - so easy to grab provisions or a quick bite around the corner at the general store, and amazing to be able to walk to the beach in just a few minutes. The cottage is cozy - just the right size for two adults and a dog - with everything you need. Having a washing machine was extra convenient, and the balcony and fire place made for relaxing evenings. We love Dillon Beach and are so happy we found this place! Don't hesitate to book :)

Sue was great and proactive in her communication which made our stay very easy. We were able to find the place easy thanks to her instructions and she showed flexibility throughout as well.

My daughter and I were on a weekend get away. Upon our arrival, Camille greeted us warmly. Our place was located in a beautiful natural setting, among trees. There was also a small water view. It was a very peaceful setting. The bed was very comfortable. Camille was very responsive to any questions we had. My daughter and I had a wonderful time.

This was my second stay at Ewa's cottage. She is a wonderful host. Perfect location. We had planned to eat at a number of restaurants but the Tap Room , which was about 2 miles away, was so good we kept returning for their specials. I highly recommend this listing and look foward to my next stay.

This house was perfect for our family trip! We prepared all meals there and the kitchen had all the supplies and utensils we needed. Beds comfortable and the reclining sofas were great. Beach access right across the street! We also enjoyed the pool table. Weather sunny, which was a bonus. I thank you for the use of the house and definitely recommend it for a family or friends trip! Our stay at Lori and Mike’s place was absolutely fantastic, and Lori truly made it unforgettable. While Mike was away on a trip, Lori went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed—and more. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so welcome. She was warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in creating a comfortable, personalized experience. She checked in with us just enough to make sure we were all set and shared amazing local tips that really made our trip extra special. If you're looking for a quiet place to unwind and relax, we HIGHLY recommend Barrel Lounge. Whether you want to chill in the hot tub, lay in the pool, or lounge on the deck while grillin' out, this place has it all. Beyond the amenities, the hosts, Kathy and Jim are incredible. They were very accommodating, providing everything we could have needed. They are two of the most kind-hearted people. Every interaction with them was a delight. Top notch experience: 1000/100 as our son would say. Many thanks to Kathy and Jim for making our honeymoon one that we'll never forget.

Nancy was the nicest and most accommodating host we’ve had at a rental so far. We arrived late one evening when I realized I misplaced the dinner I’d packed to eat when we arrived and when I asked Nancy (who was greeting us when we first arrived) about pizza delivery options, she offered us a nice frozen cornbread pizza to cook in the rental. My hungry young son was so relieved. The backyard overlooks an incredibly green and peaceful hillside and we had such a relaxing time. Also downtown Fairfax is so close by and so adorable. Would love to come back!

The best in San Rafael, plenty of parking and a kayak . Gina is wonderful our guests arrived early so I was asking Gina for early check in Gina response yes right a way Thank you very much. If you have a chance to book one of Jenny's properties, I would encourage you to do so. Of all the hosts we have encountered, she is the best. The suite was spotless and thoughtfully appointed with everything someone could want during their stay. The grounds of her home were just beautiful, a welcomed retreat from the outside world. In addition, Jenny was an incredibly resposive host. She provided great recommendation and suggestions for our visit. She was also incredibly kind to my daughter. Thank you Jenny for your warmth in welcoming is to your home.

Eliza's place was wonderful for us (two parents and a 4 month old baby) for a weekend - we had everything we needed and it was incredibly easy to check in and out. Eliza and her family were there and great to spend time with, but we also felt we had space to ourselves to rest and relax. We will hopefully be back!

The most incredible home and location!! So far exceeded our expectations!! The setting was gorgeous and serene and perfectly located - short drive to amazing restaurants and vineyards!! We’re already searching for our next opportunity to visit this amazing property!! Couldn’t recommend it more!!!
