Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Steinheim

We wanted absolute peace and a retreat just for us. We found all this in the beautiful forest edge house. It is really in a completely secluded location, the nearest houses are several hundred meters away. Rarely do people walk along a forest path about 100m next to the house, then you can sometimes hear human voices or horses and dogs, sometimes tractors drive or you can hear forest work. 90% to 95% of the time we spent there, however, it was really quiet and we could enjoy this wonderful peace that we longed for. The house is furnished with great attention to detail, very clean and you can feel right at home there. The furnishings are of very high quality overall and nothing is missing. We especially liked the tiled stove in the living room, which you can cuddle up to in the evening. The house has a wonderful view of the fields to the rear. It is an absolute dream house! We will be happy to come back.

Very lovingly and tastefully furnished cottage that was sparkling clean. We didn't miss anything. Everyone, big or small, was taken care of. The fireplace and especially the sauna and massage chair made the stay perfect. The location of the cottage is ideal to take beautiful hikes and/and to relax in peace (wonderful this silence!). Andrea is a warm host, was always available and very helpful. We will be happy to come back.

We spent a weekend climbing in the Ith. Ria's accommodation is perfect for this. Everything was as described and in the morning there were fresh eggs for breakfast. The property is large and beautiful and quiet. You can barbecue, splash in the pool and use the entire garden. What else could you ask for? We will be happy to come back. 😀

We had a very nice family holiday at the hideaway and it met our expectations one hundred percent. The house is very beautifully located from there, from there you can take many hikes or even start further distant sights by car. The house is very cozily furnished and we felt totally comfortable. The communication with Andreas was great. We would love to come again :-)

Such a cool space! Perfect combo of historic and modern. The kids loved the loft bedroom. We took a train to Hameln and grabbed a taxi to the house (only $10 euros). Once there, we walked everywhere. You’re a few blocks from the Main Street and square. House was clean and beds comfortable. My only regret is we didn’t stay an hour extra day to relax in the garden/patio.

A very well-equipped house with plenty of space for 8 people and two dogs. We really enjoyed the large kitchen and extensive kitchen equipment. The play facilities were also extensively used. Only the many steps to the entrance of the house were a bit problematic for my old dog. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Beautiful stylish house with great property located on a stream. No unnecessary bells and whistles, but everything you need. We felt very comfortable. However, you should inquire whether an event is planned at the neighboring community square. The Schützenfest on the last evening is only a stone's throw away, but you won't be able to sleep before 3:00 in the morning.

Beautiful, modern accommodation with very good facilities - an additional highlight are the running ducks in the garden :)

A great place to stay, close to local shops and a perfect location for traveling around the area. Accommodation was very clean and it was like being at home, everything we need was there. Highly recommend.

We spent a very nice long weekend in the Alte Forsthaus and were very enthusiastic about the apartment, in which nothing was missing (especially in the kitchen) and everything is visually so beautifully coordinated that you could only feel comfortable. We also particularly liked the garden and the location on the edge of the forest. You can start a hike directly, e.g. to the Dalheim Monastery or on the forest adventure trail. Helen's mother welcomed us very warmly and quickly answered and supported us with small questions. We will definitely come back when we are back in the area, it is a very relaxing place. Thank you very much!

It felt like an Ibiza vacation. The outdoor area can really not be exceeded and everything is very stylishly furnished inside. Thomas was super friendly and if you had a concern, you could always write to him. Oven and dishwasher would have been optional quite practical but definitely does not affect our review, because otherwise everything was a 10/10. We will definitely be back!

Everything was clean and perfect

A very nice apartment on 2 floors. With two dining rooms and 2 living rooms, there is plenty of space to stay in the apartment. Everything can be cooked there thanks to a very well-equipped kitchen. Manuela is quick to reach and has many tips for the area. The house itself is in a very quiet location with adjacent fields so that hikes can be started from there. Definitely recommend this accommodation, especially if you are traveling with several people.

The stay was short, but absolutely comfortable. The location of the accommodation is great and the atmosphere inviting - the winter garden in the evening is a highlight; even more so when the sky is clear. The check-in was super easy and the apartment clean and cozy. I can only recommend a booking :-)

We thought Holger's apartment was great. The view from the conservatory was beautiful...the foot, the ships. In the evening, we liked to spend cozy hours there and enjoy the unique view. The apartment was tastefully decorated and very clean. I found the contact with Holger very nice and uncomplicated from the beginning. Thank you for everything!!!! 4 days vacation in the beautiful house. Everyone is thrilled

The stay was super nice! The house has really been a dream. We felt super comfortable and had a great time as a group. The fireplace and great decor were definitely our highlights. We would always come back to the super clean accommodation!

We were there with 12 adults, 3 children and 3 dogs. It was just gorgeous. The property offers many activity options. So no one got bored.

We were allowed to spend very nice pleasantly quiet days in this house. The location is mega beautiful, secluded.. idyllic. Amenities are very consistent. Check-in and check-out was contactless. The house is exactly as described. What my previous writer wrote, regarding noisy... I can only confirm. It's really very noisy. But overall: mega nice. Thank you.
