The open fire uses kiln dried logs or similar giving a wonderful homely feel to snuggle up. Upstairs You’ll find a sumptuous double bed, wardrobe with drawers, hairdryer and iron & mini-board. we stayed overnight in the riverside cabin. It was a lovely peaceful spot hidden not far from the main road into Matlock. The cabin was clean and cosy. It had all the basic requirements for a pleasant stay.The hosts left bottled water, butter, jam, crumpets, fruit and cookies which was a pleasant surprise. Good communication from the hosts too! The best air b n b we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in a lot of places. I would recommend this over and over again and have done already and we have only been home a few hours!
