There are no cameras in the house or on the property. We are 5 minutes from Carolina's Treetop challenge. Charlotte is 1 hour away. Fifteen minutes to Morrow Mountain, Lake Tillery- Badin Lake, and Uwharrie recreational area. 8 miles to Dennis Vineyards. Asheboro Zoo is one hour. Each guest over one is an additional $15 per day per person—kids under 2 N/C. $10 per day per animal. PETS MUST BE CRATED WHEN HOME ALONE. Airbnb cannot add the correct pet fee; we will request it after booking.

This cozy home with two distinct living areas overlooks a wide expanse of water on Badin Lake. Enjoy exploring the lake by kayaking (kayaks provided) or by hiking the many trails in nearby Uwharrie Forest. A public boat launch is nearby so bring your boat or other water vehicles. Transport yourself back to a more peaceful era in this retro brick ranch on a wooded lot! Two large bedrooms share a hall bath. *Bathroom just renovated in 2025.* Period furniture was made in NC for that local touch. Mamaw’s kitchen has been stocked so you can do takeout or make a meal. Drink your coffee on the side porch looking out over the peaceful yard. Parking is a breeze since you have a two-car carport and driveway too. :)

**Our house is old and not well insulated, so it can be chilly in winter and warm in summer. Think of it as an indoor glamping experience! Please keep this in mind before booking. Step back in time in our vintage farmhouse, built in 1915. This charming and quaint retreat offers a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere—perfect for those looking to unplug and unwind. While we don’t have a TV, we do offer WiFi in case you need to check in.

Nestled on top of Woodsong, a 15-acre Nature Reserve. Started 25 years ago to protect the native plants and wildlife in our area. A cozy stay for couples and adults to relax and reconnect in nature. The studio apartment is fully equipped to give you a vacation feel. Grill out under the hanging nite lights. Unwind at the fire pit. Cuddle up with epic sunsets! Stargaze!
