Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Stankovići

We stayed at La Scuola di Anna for a couple of days, and it was absolutely amazing! The place is full of charm, history, and peaceful energy. The surroundings are stunning—lush nature, the calm sea nearby, and the authentic atmosphere of Mljet made it a perfect escape.

We enjoyed our two night stay at Carpe Diem very much. It’s a lovely place in a great location. Highly recommended!

Vi var to voksne i huset til Nikolina i syv dager. Huset er lite, men helt nydelig og autentisk. Med vakker utsikt over bukta. Huset ligger ikke like skjermet for innsyn som vi trodde, for det er to hus på hver side samt brygger ganske tett opptil Nikolina sitt hus og brygge, og det er en sti fra nabohusene som går rett ved siden av utedusjen. Men hvis du er ute etter et stille sted, så er dette perfekt. Rent og pent. Og et lite uthus med vaskemaskin. Da vi gikk tom for kaffekapsler til kaffemaskinen, sendte Nikolina kaffe med ferjen.

SHE House was as advertised. We quickly called her home feeling acclimated & comfortable. Our GPS sent us some terrible way initially but the locals were very friendly offering us assistance. Our host was patient & accommodating showing us how many ways to reach the house ("all roads lead to SHE House"). We really enjoyed how centrally located the home was to all things on Brac Island. We realized our visit was a bit early for the weather & the season when our original ferry from Makarska was cancelled due to bad weather but no worries we just had to go to Split. The wind was so strong it actually blew open the latched front door one afternoon. The soft throws in the basket were nice & cozy-really appreciated. Some of our favorite meals were at Pumparela Restaurant & Taverna Riva in Bol; Konoba Kopacina & Restaurant Ziza in Donji Humac; Gastro Diva in Makarska. Driving in Croatia is NOT for the faint of heart but if you happen to be on the D8 stop for coffee at Strada.

We loved staying at Dino's place (which he manages on behalf of his parents Marija & Dado who live immediately adjacent to the rental). The house was so cute and we loved sitting on the front porch under the kiwi arbor for morning coffee. Marija and Dado were such sweet, welcoming hosts that always made sure we never wanted for anything, providing fig cake and jam as well as homemade limoncello, and Dado was kind enough to drive us into Korcula town to see the sites and catch the ferry to Split. The location couldn't be better -- it's right next to Konoba Mada which had delicious food, the local convenience market is a 2-minute walk, and it's a 10-15 minute walk to gorgeous local beaches and wineries. We didn't want to leave and would love to come back and stay in Marija and Dado's beautiful home again!

My whole family was obsessed with this place. The adults loved the beautiful scenery and the peacefulness and the kids loved the hot tub and the swings. The house is adorable and very nice and the views were even better than the pictures. We loved meandering around Humac and being close to so many interesting small villages to explore. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat on the island of Hvar, you will be hard pressed to find something better than Mario’s place.

My wife and I stayed here with parents and family for the first time and we will be back for sure. The house is really unique, beach is basicly in front of house. Everything is so peacfull and place is brand new . Hosts were very welcoming , provided everything we needed !

Upravo smo se vratili s odmora u ovoj predivnoj vili i jednostavno moramo podijeliti svoje oduševljenje! Tražili smo smještaj koji nudi potpunu privatnost i opuštanje, a ova vila je nadmašila sva naša očekivanja. Smještena usred netaknute prirode, vila pruža nevjerojatan osjećaj mira i spokoja. Započinjanje dana uz cvrkut ptica i svjež zrak, daleko od gradske vreve, bio je pravi melem za dušu. Bazen je bio apsolutni hit! Prostran, čist i s dovoljno ležaljki za sve – idealan za jutarnje osvježenje ili popodnevno uživanje pod suncem. Posebno nam se svidjelo što je bazen potpuno privatan, što nam je omogućilo da se opustimo bez ikakvih smetnji. Vrt je priča za sebe. Prekrasno uređen, s obiljem zelenila i šarenog cvijeća, i mnoštvom povrća pravo je umjetničko djelo. Svaki kutak vrta odiše pažnjom i ljubavlju, pružajući savršen ambijent za večernja druženja ili jednostavno uživanje u tišini. Dijete je obožavalo istraživati svaki kutak! Ova vila nije samo smještaj, već jedinstveno iskustvo.

Marija and her mom Ksenja were fantastic hosts! Our unit had just been renovated (other than the bathroom which could use an update) and entire unit was spotless and bright! Ksenja welcomed us with wine, bread, cheese and grapes- what more could we ask for? Marija was quick and generous responding to our requests for certain items- thank you Marija! Beautiful view from balcony- we rented e-bikes to enjoy touring the area. Walkable to restaurants, wineries, grocery store and beaches. Great stay!

My parents and I really enjoyed our stay! The view from the terrace is amazing and a really special part of this rental, would recommend it based on this feature alone. Check in was easy with clear instructions on how to find it and we got awesome recommendations.

Marina our host picked us up from the port what service. Her apartment has views to die for literally can step from your front door into the water. Marina also stocked the fridge with some milk, beer, soft drinks and juice. The little touches like fresh strawberries and special Croatian biscuits delivered to us. Marina even washed and ironed our clothes. What a find this place is. Marina also gave us restaurant recommendations and growing up on this island she has lots of local knowledge. Thank you Marina.

Betina and her place were wonderful! Betina kindly collected and took us to the ferry and gave us a tour of the apartment on arrival. The fruit bowl and water was appreciative very kind gesture ok arrival. Apartment was just as described, and the bed was so comfy!! Great location for a walk into Old Town and going the opposite direction to beautiful bays. Would fully recommend staying here.

The apartment was cosy and welcoming with a beautiful outlook over the promenade and a water view from the bedroom window. It was easy walking distance from the Port & numerous restaurants. Petar very kindly met us at the Port & walked us to the apartment. The kitchen was well equipped including all the larder essentials. We would happily stay in the apartment again!

Alloggio nuovo pulitissimo e molto comodo per il centro anche a piedi piano terra con parcheggio di fronte casa e tavolino su cui cenare all’esterno, consigliatissimo

We were so sad to leave this apartment! The location, cleanliness, and quiet area made our experience remarkable. Rafaela and Vicki were amazing hosts, and their attention to detail stood out to us. From the clear instructions, to the flexible check in, and the wonderful welcome gifts (cookies, local liqueurs). The apartment is just a few short steps to the lovely beach, offering the BEST views of old town Korcula and the surrounding mountains. The location just cannot be beat. We wish we had extended our stay a few days longer. We hope to return one day :)

We had wonderful stay:) The apartment was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Our host Luka went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. He was always available when needed.

We had a lovely stay in Marina’s place. A lovely 2 bedroom apartment with great sea views from the balcony. A 20 min walk from the old town with a quiet swimming spot just across the road. A few steps to climb, but that’s how you get the view😀

We were looked after by Dina's cousin Antea, who was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She looked out for us and made sure we had everything we needed. The accommodation was well equipped and spotlessly clean and comfortable. The view down to the harbour from the living room window and outside seating area was lovely. It was a five minute walk down to the harbour with its selection of restaurants and a supermarket - a few more minutes walking back up because you have a slope to climb, but that should not deter anyone who is averagely fit. We took a water taxi from Lumbarda harbour right to the edge of pedestrianised Korcula Old Town, which cost 15 euros return and ran every 30 minutes. This was nicer than going by road and not too unreasonable considering that parking anywhere near the town costs 5 euros an hour. The Old Town is beautiful and a more relaxing, less touristy and so more atmospheric version of Dubrovnik with lots of nice art studios.

Can’t fault the apartment, location or hosts. Could have happily stayed longer. Loved it.

A Slice of Paradise by the Sea Staying at Ms. Tonka’s beach house was nothing short of a dream. Nestled in a serene coastal setting, this house is truly a slice of paradise. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the ocean and the gentle sound of the waves The house itself is a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. Thoughtfully decorated with a coastal charm, it offered all the modern amenities we needed while still embracing the laid-back beach vibe. Every room was immaculate, and the large windows allowed the natural beauty of the surroundings to pour in, creating a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. Mornings spent on the spacious deck, sipping coffee while watching the sunrise, were a highlight of our stay. The beach was practically our backyard, making it easy to enjoy a day of sun and wind surf. Ms. Tonka is the perfect host—attentive, kind, and incredibly thoughtful. Arci a plus the sweetest dog ever♥️

Wir haben uns sehr wohl in Asja Apartment gefühlt. Alles war wie beschrieben. Strand sowie Ort Promenade sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir empfehlen Unterkunft.

We had a fantastic stay at Ivo’s apartment in Lumbarda. The location is perfect and the photos struggle to capture the beauty of view you get from the front terrace (there are two terraces!). Nothing separates you from the sea apart from the local road to the centre of town. There are a couple of very small sandy beaches in the town but 15 minutes walk to a beautiful large sandy beach. If you have a car we recommend Pupnatska Luka as our favourite beach - windy small road to get there but its worth it! Ivo and his wife were perfect hosts - lovely to deal with and very helpful. The apartment is bright open and spotless with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would love to come back in the future.

Tako lokacija kot apartma sta presegla naša pričakovanja. Apartma sodobno opremljen in izredno čist. Ima vso oziroma celo več opreme kot jo pričakuješ za robinzonske počitnice. Zasebna plaža in lokacija apartmaja nudita zasebnost in mir, da se lahko spočiješ. Cesta je res slabša vendar tako mora biti, saj drugače bi bila lokacija preveč obiskana in z veliko turistov s čemer bi izgubila svoj čar. Malden in Momir sta izredno prijazna in vedno priskočita na pomoč v kolikor kaj potrebuješ kakor tudi z nasveti. Imeli smo se noro lepo in škoda, da je vse tako hitro minilo 😄.

Vi är fyra tjejer från Sverige som haft en fantastisk vistelse i denna underbara lägenhet, som vi hyrde via Airbnb. Läget kunde inte varit bättre – bara ett stenkast från stranden, vilket gjorde det enkelt att njuta av sol och bad varje dag. Lägenheten var välutrustad, fräsch och mycket trivsam, vilket gjorde att vi verkligen kunde koppla av och känna oss som hemma. Det här var verkligen en toppenuthyrning som överträffade våra förväntningar, och vi är otroligt nöjda med hela upplevelsen. Vi kommer att komma tillbaka! 😊
