Apartment holiday rentals in Stalida

very nice clean modern apartment equipped with everything, air conditioning, equipped kitchen, washing machine, comfortable bed, only flaw is the lack of a dishwasher. around the house there were several cats and also 4 adorable dogs that live in that area, but don't be afraid they are very sweet and harmless, we fed them throughout our stay and they always made us happy, if you can please do the same, in Crete there is no real concept of pets and even less of stray dogs abandoned to themselves, a small gesture can make a difference, thank you very much.

Overall, we are satisfied with our stay. Particularly noteworthy is the extremely professional and friendly manner of the hosts - great praise to both of them! We found the apartment in a good and above all very clean condition. New condition, modernly furnished, air-conditioned, windows incl. mosquito nets, comfortable beds and equipped with all necessary utensils. In addition, the apartment has an outdoor shower (separate room that can be entered from the outside) and a small laundry room with a washing machine. In addition, we were able to enjoy some welcome gifts (water, beer, cocktails, nuts, etc.). It is also possible to use the pools in the hotel opposite free of charge. The only negative point is the non-optimal location of the apartment. Since the property is quite noisy and the terrace is facing the street, you get quite a lot of traffic (especially the many coaches were heard).

New apartment clean and full of comfort by the sea, great and quiet location

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment – it was our second time here, and once again, everything was perfect. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures: beautifully decorated, very clean, and super comfortable. It’s located in a quiet area and has a private back terrace that is wonderfully sunny and peaceful – we loved spending time there. We slept very well, the kitchen is well equipped, and we had everything we needed for a relaxed stay. The beach is only about an 8-minute walk away, and the next supermarket is less than 5 minutes on foot – super convenient. We also enjoyed using the lovely barbecue area outside – it’s a great space to relax and eat. The host was amazing: always available and very helpful whenever we had a question. We can fully recommend staying here and would definitely come back again. Thank you for everything!

This place is IMMACULATE! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The apartment is so lovely and the balcony view is stunning! We enjoy sitting in the evenings with a glass of wine and watching the sunset. The location is perfect, it’s 5 min walking distance from the Lion Fountain Square where they have the best bougatsa at Kirkor!!! There is a pay parking right across the street. We are definitely coming back! Hosts are amazing and responsive! We already miss Crete!

We had a wonderful stay at Izabela’s apartment! The accommodation was exactly as described clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring both the town and the island. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was Izabela herself. She was incredibly kind and welcoming, always available with a smile and happy to help with anything I needed. Her knowledge of Crete and the local area was invaluable. She gave us fantastic recommendations for the best beaches, authentic tavernas, and cultural spots I would have otherwise missed. Her hospitality made us feel like more than just a guest; it felt like staying with a local friend. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island. Our stay in this apartment was really nice. The apartment was very clean, tidy, nothing to say about that! View from the apartment is really amazing. Plus with the pool we were in heaven, very quiet place! We were hosted in a very pleasant way. She was extremely nice and accommodating! We'll be back next year for sure! A great pleasure.

I was solo & it suited me fine. If you are a couple & don’t intend spending much time at home it’s perfect. It is clean. The shower is good. The location is good. A very civilised area. The bed is comfortable. The neighbours were polite. I couldn’t fault this small apartment.

Our stay was perfect. The place was exactly as described, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location was ideal, very quiet and close to the beach. Despina was very welcoming and always available if we needed anything. Highly recommend this place and we'll be back with pleasure!

Manos & Eve’s place looked just like their pictures if not better. Manos met me at the Airbnb to let me in and show me around my place. Plus he helped carried my luggage up to my unit. They even stocked my refrigerator with food and drink along with creating me a welcome sign. They were GREAT host. They were very responsive when I reached out and provided me recommendations from hair salons to rental car places. The beach is about a block away, very walkable. There restaurants and markets near by that you can also walk to. I really enjoyed my stay there. I wished I could have stayed longer. I hope to come back.

This location is perfect. It's on the main street, just metres from the beach. You can take your pick for restaurants and cafes. We would order a drink across the road and spend the day swimming and lounging on the beach chairs. We loved Stalida and the options. Great coffee, drinks, pastries, and food around. There are supermarkets within walking distance. We had a toddler so Pella thoughtfully installed a baby gate at the top of the stairs for us. Pella had great communication and she even left a toy cat for our toddler. Thank you for hosting us!

Probably the best accommodation we stayed in. It was exactly like the pictures, very beautiful property, nice and quiet, a big jard and swimming pool, loads of toys for our toddler to play with. We were welcomed by Manos who gave us a brief tour of the property and answered our questions. They even had some groceries for us so we could have breakfast in the morning without having to go shopping first. We also received tips for the area. The house was cleaned during our stay which was also nice. Would recommend everyone to stay here!

Clean, spacious place. Very nice hosts who were very quick to respond to any questions we had. Very friendly people who went out of their way to make sure we had a nice stay. Short walk to the beach and also into the mountains. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone else looking for a great deal.

The place was conveniently located in walking distance from the port of entry for the ferries and about 5 to 10 minutes away from the airport. It was close to great restaurants and the waterfront and the main shopping areas are all within 5 to 10 minutes walk. It was easy for tours to pick us up 2 to 3 minutes walk from the place. Are a host or extremely helpful very responsive on all communications all through the process in the checkout. We would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Crete.

We had a really great time in Lygaria! The Arrival was easy and we met Nikos and his wife, they were very friendly and helpful! Nikos always replied very quick and also gave some recommendations for restaurants and taverns (we really liked Sirocco and Anatoli!) The appartment was clean, felt modern and cozy. The outside section next to it was really nice to hang out at in the evenings and the whirlpool was a big bonus, we loved it! We also had deck chairs for our use at the front of the building - from which you are able to get to the beach in just a few footsteps! All in all we were really happy to have booked this airbnb and would recommend it to everyone!

Although we booked for 3 people and it was only prepared for 2, the host was very quick and helpful in solving the problem! Very good room and conditions :)

My boyfriend and I spent five nights here for my 22nd birthday and it did not disappoint. The photos on here do not do the place justice and the local area is just the right amount of quiet busy also with an abundance of restaurants and bars. We didn’t get a hire car as we managed with the local buses as they are so much cheaper and we were able to get to beaches such as Saridari and Paralia Psaromoura, which we would recommend. We also would highly recommend a boat tour to Dia island if you are able too. Restaurant wise in Gournes we cannot recommend Nami Restaurant enough and it is a must! The beach opposite is a lovely shallow beach but we aware it can be quite windy hence why we explored other beaches - would advise if u go to these beaches you leave early (especially if u want a sun lounger)! We had an amazing stay. The location was perfect, with tons of walkable restaurants and bars nearby. There was so much going on in the area, and the lively atmosphere made it really fun to explore. One of our favorite parts was the hot tub on the balcony. It was the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. The homemade wine was a really nice touch and absolutely delicious. We’d definitely come back.
