Studio Historic Pekelpakhuis

Our unique 4-p studio is located on the second floor of a historic brine warehouse (1832) on the Menheerse Werf (1750), a working museum yard in Middelharnis, an old fishing village on the beautiful Haringvliet. We are happy to receive our guests personally. The studio has a private entrance and is completely self-sufficient. The monumental character also has drawbacks, such as low beams and a somewhat steep staircase to the sleeping floor, but the atmosphere and use of a boat more than make up for that.

In the old village school in the village of Nieuwendijk is our guesthouse. The room faces the garden and forest. The ferry to island Tiengemeten is within easy reach. In the Hoeksche Waard, it is nice to walk and cycle. There are several nature areas. The room has it ´ s own private shower and toilet. A lovely old (1935) Hen House is the basis of this little studio (Tiny House). It is self supporting and is situated in Geervliet, a lovely old little town, very near the beaches of Hellevoetsluis, Rockanje and Oostvoorne. Also the medieval city Brielle is very nearby. We also love to cook outside, and when you need a BBQ or even a wood oven to make your own pizza's!, it's there! Inside there is already different kinds of tea and filter coffee and a coffee machine ready to use.

Detached holiday home by the water.

Very luxuriously furnished holiday home directly on the water with a 13 meter long jetty for a sailboat or fishing boat (also for rent). Within a few minutes you can sail to the Volkerak. The water is also connected with the Haringvliet and the HD. The house is centrally located for a day in Grevelingenstrand 5 (min.) or the Noorzeestrand (20 min.). Cozy towns in Zeeland are also not too far away. The city of Rotterdam popular for tourists is only 25 minutes by car.
