10 out of 10! Chad and Michelle were wonderful hosts! They made us feel right at home. Chad even took us out on his boat to do a little fishing! We wished we had seen their place first and booked it for the entirety of our trip. We definitely plan to stay with them (if they’re not booked already) the next time we are back in town!

Nice secluded location. Very reasonably priced and spacious. The host, Dustin, was very nice unto my family and me. He was also very accommodating to us. What Dustin did for my family while we were there has no words. Thanks can never be enough. If you choose Dustin’s house then know that you have an excellent host and you chose a good place to stay.

Can't say enough about Pelican Pier Beach House. Spotless, beautifully decorated home with serene views of Lake Catherine. Owner provides many of the necessities and complimentary coffee pods and supplies. We are repeat visitors and would never consider anyplace else because we love it. Great fishing and crabbing. We highly recommend and we will be back.

This beautiful home was a perfect place for our family to have a get away weekend for Mother’s Day. 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms provided perfect sleeping quarters for our large family. And the GARDENS!! Unbelievably awesome! We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and by the pool. Plenty of spaces to visit and play games! Quality time spent this weekend!

The Cottage was absolutely fantastic! The place was incredibly clean and well-equipped, and the location was perfect. My kids loved the lake. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting!

This is our third time visiting Sunhillow. It's always been a relaxing and enjoyable stay to kick off the summer. Bill and Karen are welcoming and accommodating hosts who treat us like part of their family. We especially enjoy canoeing/kayaking, swimming, blueberry picking, fishing, and deer feeding/watching. The cabin is clean and well-maintained. The entire property exudes TLC.

We had an amazing visit. Very secluded and private. Cabin was clean, cute, and roomy, but also cozy. Outdoor areas were beautiful and relaxing.

Wonderful long weekend at the perfect home away from home! The house was beautiful inside and out! Fresh and clean with great bathrooms, big cozy beds and bedrooms and a kitchen/living area with a peaceful southern view! Outside had easy parking, lots of native trees and a big front porch to enjoy a cup of coffee on! Far enough away from town to have a quiet place to enjoy with your family. Close enough to several towns to enjoy some great restaurants, shopping and fishing for us! Will was an excellent host! He kept us updated with anything we needed to know and was always reachable! Fantastic place!

Staying at David's property is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to relax and enjoy time with family. Traveling from Brandon, Florida, to Bogalusa, Louisiana, is a big change, but it’s definitely worth it. The property is very family-friendly, with something for everyone—from toddlers to young adults—and plenty of room for adults to unwind, socialize, or even get some work done. I highly recommend David's place; both the staff and other guests are friendly, respectful, and helpful.
