We used the patio of this beautiful Airbnb for our wedding ceremony, and it was absolutely perfect! The space was charming, well-kept, and created the most intimate and romantic setting for our special day. I’m incredibly thankful to the host for honoring my request to have the grass cut before the event—it made the entire area look picture-perfect and ready for guests. The host was kind, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to help make our day smooth and memorable. The property is lovely with great views. The house is big with lots of space in the bedrooms, comfortable beds. Only 2 bedrooms had tvs, plus there's a larger tv in living area. All amenities mentioned were available. We enjoyed the game room with the pool table, ping pong, etc. You may need extra tennis rackets, but there were a couple in the house. Everything else is provided for all activities. We also love the basketball court that came with basketballs. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and very clean. We enjoyed the generous space and set up of the kitchen and the casual dining being near outdoor activities. If you're an active group, you won't be disappointed. It's very quiet and peaceful so if you're just trying to get away, this is your place to be in the Slidell area. Starbucks and groceries nearby were a hit with us too. Ferdinand could not have been more pleasant and helpful. You'll instantly feel like old friends with him, we certainly did. Thank you! We'll be back!

We stayed for 6 nights/5 days for Mardi Gras! We are more than impressed with our stay! From the location, cleanliness, responsive host, the list goes on! The home was even better than described and we could have easily stayed here another week! Absolutely beautiful home and outside deck! Being right on the bayou and the ability to enjoy the wildlife and nature was unmatched! Not a far drive from New Orleans and felt very safe and at home! We will stay here every time we head to NOLA!!! If we could give 10 stars we would!

This location was ideal for our family. We have young children and Robin and Lucy had a crib, a little newborn bath tub and toys for all the kids to play with. The property was peaceful and we felt right at home. This home was clean and inviting. The decor added to the wonderful experience as it truly was a home away from home for the holidays. I would recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway.

This little green house is small but so cozy and perfect for a weekend get away. It is set on a beautiful piece of property that is private, yet not isolated. We very much enjoyed both the amenities of the house itself as well as fishing in the pond, thanks to the very well equipped fishing supplies on site. The kitchen is perfect for cooking a small meal, the bedroom is cozy and comfortable, and the decor is very cute. We cannot wait to stay here again!

One of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at! Amazing views & so much room. We were there for the Taylor Swift concert & loved being far enough away from the traffic. We would love to go back one day!

This place was absolutely beautiful exactly what the host described it to be I would 100% book again with her, very responsive,very clean just a beautiful location and all . 10 stars all the way bout a half hour from Bourbon Street straight drive over the bridge actually. There was six of us and in accommodated everybody the pool was clean right on the river.

Shannon was easy to communicate with. Super easy to check in with clear instructions. House went beyond my expectations.. Shabby chic yet elegant, relaxing and comfortable. Will visit again. Thank you Shannon for opening your house for me to relax and enjoy!

Great location to visit Mandeville and the Lakefront (within 1 block of the lakefront). Easy to walk to multiple restaurants, bars, and shops. Bed was comfortable and host provides all the basics (towels, bathroom amenities, etc). Definitely recommend for a weekend gateway or anyone visiting the area!

We really enjoyed our stay at Madeline’s place. It is better in person than the photos- pristine clean, beautiful kitchen, and lovely screened in porch. We felt very comfortable and had everything we needed. It is super close (less than 4 min drive, 25 min easy walk) to downtown Covington where you’ll find cute restaurants and our favorite, Haven coffee shop. The area felt quiet and safe.

Nick was very responsive, friendly and accommodating. The home was cozy and clean. The property and bayou scenery was peaceful.

We had the best experience at this home! It’s a stunning location. Every window looks out at something beautiful since the house is overlooking water on both the front and back of the house. The host provides everything needed for fishing and a crab cage. We caught 3 crabs and 5 fish and spent very little time or effort trying. Plus there’s a bate shop very close by. The home is a pretty quick drive to the city of New Orleans and a couple other really nice towns. We would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a safe, peaceful, beautiful place to stay while visiting the area.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! The location was perfect for us being in between the busy city of New Orleans for fun stuff to do and the less busy city of Slidell for going to get groceries and etc. great place for fishing of the pier we caught several fish. The house accommodated our group of 7 very comfortable and everything was very nice and comfortable!

We had such a wonderful time at John and Karen’s place. They are wonderful people and great hosts. We had an amazing time with them as they took us around Madisonville, showing us a few great spots. Their place is so beautiful and relaxing. It’s magical. We came from California so staying here was an adventure, so different from what we are used to. We fell in love with Madisonville. Thank you John and Karen for being so attentive and welcoming. We can’t say enough and you guys and your beautiful property. Can’t wait to be back for a visit or maybe be neighbors. Great place to stay! The couple that own it are very nice. Very private and quiet.

Very nice place!! Clean and comfortable!! This is my second time leasing “ River Rat” and it was perfect! Amanda is great to work with!

This place was relaxing and peaceful. It was so big and spacious. We enjoyed the hot tub, grill, and games. Bradley was responsive, a great host, and even understanding. We went tubing down the bouge chitto and it is so close the tubing company picks you up and drops you back off at the house.

We loved David’s place!! It was as described and in a perfect location for us. It was immaculately clean, uncluttered, and very comfortable. There were snacks, condiments in the fridge, coffee and two ways to make it. Beds were very comfortable. We hope to stay there again when visiting family in the area.

This place was amazing! you literally only needed to bring food, clothes and yourself. The view was calming and gorgeous!

A lovely home right on the water. I was worried about stayng in a home on a “highway” with a dog but the road was quiet and we felt safe with the doggie outside (on a leash!) Fishing off the dock was not successful but we did a charter and had great luck! We loved our day trips into NOLA too! Loved it!

Elizabeth’s home was better than described! Had everything we needed and more! Perfect location, close to everything but peaceful and quiet. She responded immediately when we had questions. It was perfect for our stay! We’ll definitely be staying there in the future!
