Holiday rentals with a fire pit in St. Joseph Island

House was as described and the host put lots of thought into the little things. Very well stocked and very clean. Beds were comfortable. Centrally located for day trips. Sandy beach very close. Had a great time and would stay here again.

We had to cancel our trip last minute due to health concerns and heavy smoke from Canada. Jake was very responsive to messages and understanding of our health concerns. They were supportive and very professional in all communication and I hope to visit their listing later in the year. I have never had to cancel a reservation and deeply appreciate their understanding and respectful communication during our decision.

Julia's home was great! Will be looking for this place again when I'm back in the area!

I have stayed at alot of air bnb’s since I travel for work and I can truly say this was one of my favourite places if not my favourite place! The house is beautiful and has everything that you could ever need while staying out of town. They covered and thought of everything. I will be back to the area and this will be my first choice if available.

I've been coming to Howard's cabin with friends for 5 years now. The place is always great and Howard is very helpful! We hope to be back again next year!

Second year in a row I've stayed at Steve's place. Best AirBNB in the area for me to fish the Les Chenneaux Islands and Raber area. Plenty of room to park my truck and boat. House is super clean. Has all the amenities. Quite and peaceful. Goetzville Tavern is a 5 minute walk up the road. Steve recommended it. Just opened. Has Great Food! Steve is a great host. Quick to respond if any issures arise. Will be booking there next year too

We had another stay booked that didn’t meet expectations. Found Allen’s place and it was perfect. This place has everything anyone staying would need. They have everything you can think of extras of everything you cannot think of. Great stay and wonderful hospitality.

Natalie’s place is a great spot in Hilton beach, amazing views and a comfortable stay. Close to all the ‘action’. Natalie is a great communicator and host.

We stayed at Albert's place for one night during a trip to Deer Trail Route. We were only planning to use for sleeping and freshening up. We arrived in the afternoon when Albert was outside but he left clear instructions and made it easy to enter. We went out again and came back late, met Albert in person. We had very little interaction as it was late at night but Albert was very polite and friendly, offered us his available breakfast goods too. The room and washroom were clean with listed amenities. It was perfect for our short stay for the price we paid. The double bed was fine with us. The best thing about this location is that there is a very beautiful Lakeside Beach just within 10 minutes of walking, we had our breakfast there in stunning views. We felt very welcomed and at home during our stay and would definitely keep this in our list for future trips. Thank you Albert.

Our stay was comfortable. During the night, there was an unexpected accident—my child had a nosebleed (a first for us) on the bed. I reached out to Ryan, and he responded with such kindness and understanding. He assured us not to worry and mentioned that he already planned to replace the queen bedding, which we had found to be very clean and new. We really appreciated his thoughtful and supportive response—it made a stressful moment much easier to handle. Thank you, Ryan, for being such a considerate host!

My son, daughter in law and I stayed at Cabin 3 in the Lorelei Cabins in Hessel, MI from May 15-19, 2025. The cabin is clean, cozy and looks exactly like the photos. We especially enjoyed the second floor with the large window overlooking Hessel Bay. The kitchen is well stocked, although we ate most meals out since it is walking distance to restaurants. A real plus was having two bathrooms (one full with shower and one half bath next to the main bedroom). I would say the only thing I didn’t enjoy was the water quality - I’m just not used to well water. Just buy bottled water to drink & for coffee and tea - problem solved! The location was perfect for our plans - kayaking and hiking. If we return to the eastern UP in the future we will definitely stay here again.

Charming and Cozy in an amazing location! I plan to return in the summer and enjoy the beach, fire pit, rockhounding, watching the freighters and exploring. The location is a great launching point for many day trips within an hour or two of the cabin. And the beach access really is steps away from the door! We played outside all day and then played Catan and Uno at night. The kitchenette had everything we needed to prepare meals. There is an entertainment center set up with Roku and a dvd player with movies and some games. The beds were both very comfortable with quality linens and blankets and great pillows. The porch is darling, birdfeeders all around and lanterns and lights for night. Kelly was the perfect host, very quick to respond, knowledgeable of the area, and a pleasure to communicate with! I highly recommend this cabin for one or two people. Perfect for a cozy getaway, beach fun and day trips. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Karin, Opie (our dog), and I had a very nice stay at Mackinac Vista. The house was comfortable, with peaceful surroundings just beyond the back deck. We were able to watch a quiet sunset over Lake Huron, which made for a pleasant evening. The beach behind the yard is rocky and secluded—perfect for a quiet retreat. Be sure to bring your rock painting supplies, as the cabin features a collection of painted rocks left by past guests. Although we didn't take advantage of it, the fire pit and outdoor furniture made it easy to enjoy the peaceful outdoor setting. I also took advantage of the many mountain and road biking opportunities in the area. The grocery store in nearby Cedarville was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay.

Cabin in the Cedars was exceptional. Comfortable and cozy. We loved watching the freighters and a couple tugboats go by. It was perfect for my good friend and I to hang out and catch up. So quiet! We slept very well in the comfortable beds and we had everything we needed in the kitchen! We explored all of the island and the cabin was a great starting and ending point. We already are planning to return in the spring/summer

Had a great relaxing girls weekend. Would definitely come back in the future!

Ryan’s cottage was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The cottage had everything you needed for a weekend or longer getaway! The cottage has a full kitchen and a full bathroom. Everything is updated and the furnishings are comfortable and attractive! The cottage is so clean and organized. The view from the cottage is just lovely. Loved our stay there!
