The Lodge is only accessible by boat. Hopedale Marina is full service and app. 10 minutes by boat. Pip's back down is $10 dollars on lock box and app. 3 blocks away.

We loved staying here for our fishing adventures. The space is comfortable with new well decorated furnishings, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, vast screened in porch and paved parking pad. There is not a spec of dust in the entire property, not even on the parking pad below. It is SO clean. Gisele was easy to communicate with and made my husband's 50th birthday extra special with decor and welcome notes. We will be back!

The location was perfect for us being in between the busy city of New Orleans for fun stuff to do and the less busy city of Slidell for going to get groceries and etc. great place for fishing of the pier we caught several fish. The house accommodated our group of 7 very comfortable and everything was very nice and comfortable!

The neighborhood was great. It was quite & the neighbors were friendly. It was a 15/20 minute ride to all the places we visited French Quarter, Ceasars Suoerdome, Jamaican Jerk House, Morrow's etc etc. The house was exactly as described. My friends & I will/would definitely stay here again on our next visit if the house is available.

I travel frequently and this is one of the best places I have stayed at. Extremely clean, well put together home, very spacious. The back yard is fenced in and very relaxing, I felt safe staying there. Home is also owned by a Marine(Go Navy) so you can’t really go wrong, you know you will be in good hands during your stay. Highly recommend this home for anyone visiting the area.

Very sweet hostess! She was knowledgeable about the area and local shops. Everything was clean and easy to find. The bed was VERY soft and comfortable, and the couch was loaded with comfy throw pillows. The location was perfect as it was a quick Uber ride to the center of the quarter but far enough out of the action to be peaceful.
