Holiday rentals with a kayak in St. Bernard Parish

We had the best time experiencing the natural and urban cultures in the bayou! Henry’s place is amazing, clean, comfortable, spacious, tastefully decorated and fun! Crabbing, fishing, hot tubbing, cooking and relaxing in…and venturing into NOLA was so easy with so much to explore …and a day beach trip to Bay St. Louis was a nice surprise with gorgeous and clean white sandy beaches for miles and a cute seaside town. What a gem of a spot! A perfect blend of relaxation and exploration! The perfect family adventure!

Host was very responsive. all questions answered plus extra helpful information on surrounding areas.

The Purple Purch is extremely comfy with everything you need. The lake views are priceless and go on forever. We slept so good! Shannon & Aamie could not have been better hosts. So kind, thoughtful and flexible. Very attentive & responsive when we had a question. If you are looking for peace & serenity on the water away from hustle of downtown N’Orleans then this is your place. Morning coffee outside on screened deck overlooking the lake was everyone’s favorite. The huge sectional allowed all 6 of us space to chill out for a movie night! Absolutely recommend staying at this soul calming place on Lake Catherine! Just what we needed…..😍👏🙌

Can't say enough about Pelican Pier Beach House. Spotless, beautifully decorated home with serene views of Lake Catherine. Owner provides many of the necessities and complimentary coffee pods and supplies. We are repeat visitors and would never consider anyplace else because we love it. Great fishing and crabbing. We highly recommend and we will be back.

A lovely home right on the water. I was worried about stayng in a home on a “highway” with a dog but the road was quiet and we felt safe with the doggie outside (on a leash!) Fishing off the dock was not successful but we did a charter and had great luck! We loved our day trips into NOLA too! Loved it!

Very happy with our stay. The house was very nice, clean, and peaceful. We were there for a fishing trip which was very convenient. New Orleans and Slidell are close by and easy to get to both. The house had everything we need to cook and enjoy. The beds were comfortable and clean. No complaints with this house.

Laurie's vacation home is very clean and cozy. We loved the surrounding deck, which allows the outside sitting in the shades at any time. The view at the sunrise and sunset is stunning! Our family enjoyed the private dock/pier and spent a lot of time out there fishing. We caught lots of bass, catfish and crab! There are good restaurants around going either directions. Just be watchful for the mosquitoes and deerflies outside near grass, and make sure you are quick in case you have to get out there when it is dark.
