Townhome holiday rentals in St Andrews

A perfect location if you are visiting a student at the University. In town, but on a street with no parking and little traffic close to shops and restaurants. John was immediately reachable when we had an issue with the internet and the thermostat, both of which he immediately resolved by popping over within the hour. Entry was simple, the flat had lovely bedrooms and modern bathrooms. We did not make use of the outdoor space but it looked comfortable on a nice day. Kitchen was small with all the amenities one needs and lots of outlets for adaptors if you are coming from out of the country. Living area was small but we didn't spend a lot of time in the flat as we were moving our child into school. Overall the owners of this flat do a great job with their property and communication and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the University.

We have rented the property multiple times as it is so impressive, great location and has everything that a golfing group requires. Well appointed rooms, lovely bathrooms and the perfect spacious living areas. A short stroll from shops, restaurants, bars, golf courses and the St Andrews sights.

I booked this stay for my colleagues working in the area and they loved it. Highly recommend. Thank you for hosting us.

This place was even nicer than the photos! Nicola left a thoughtful guide book to the space, as well as a list of recommendations for coffee, food, etc. often those guides are really out of date but this felt really thoughtful and current! The home feels like an art gallery, with historic details and gorgeous design elements. I would recommend it to any kind of traveller! Located right in the Main Street and close to the 43 bus into Edinburgh. A perfect stay!

The place was in a 200 year old Georgian townhouse. It was the best place we stayed on our trip & one of the best Air B&B we have ever stayed. Emily was an amazing host. We loved coming back to a quiet place after the craziness of Old Town. Emily’s recommendations were spot on.

Fiona & Finlay’s house is spacious & had an ideal layout for our extended all adult family & friends group. The seven bedrooms, 6 shower rooms & 2 lounges were a huge bonus. Everything Crail has to offer visitors was a few minutes away from the front door. The spacious dining room let us relax enjoy the locally sourced food & catch up on our holiday experiences. Will definitely recommend & plan to return to Caiplie House.

Chris's place was the perfect location and size for our family as we visited for a wedding. Rooms were good size and well maintained, albeit for one of the rooms curtain had not to be put up right. This did absolutely have no bearing on the stay and I know this will be something easily rectified for future guests. The location as mentioned was perfect and overall Chris's place made for a really great base for us to get around from. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone looking to visit St Andrews!

Very nice place, just as shown in the pictures. Very quiet with comfortable beds. One of my favorite AirBnbs that I have stayed in. I hope it's available the next time I come to Edinburgh!

The house was very comfortable and well equipped, very convenient for the town with shops, hotel and bus two minutes away.

Had a lovely stay at this flat. We were in town for a wedding and it was a great location and so close to the 1st & 18th tees at St. Andrew’s! Would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Our time in Edinburgh could not have been any better and that had a lot to do with Roberta's AirBnB. It was steps away from the tram line and easy walking distance to most of the sites we planned on visiting. Roberta's house is well situated, clean, well stocked and effortless to enjoy. She is a thoughtful host, carefully curating a guest experience; by anticipating what might be needed to make her home, your home. There are an amazing variety of good restaurants within short radius of the home, which we appreciated. When we come back to Edinburgh, we hope to be able to stay here again.

Emma's place was fantastic. As beautiful as it looks in the photos and so comfortable and welcoming we could have just moved in and felt completely at home. It's a quiet, private spot in an upscale neighborhood but also just steps away from wonderful restaurants and shops and a short walk to the heart of Edinburgh. Emma offered a great list of recommendations that enhanced our stay. She communicated well and check-in was easy and accommodating. Would love to return on my next visit to the city.

Laurie and Chris have been amazing hosts! Very quick to respond and Pat welcomes you to the home with a quick tour around the flat, super kind and incredibly helpful. The flat is incredibly homely and only 30mins from Edinburgh, it’s absolutely ideal! Super clean and has everything you need for a stay away from home!

This place was amazing! Clean and beautiful and plenty of space for our group, and right near shops and restaurants. Seems newly renovated with beautiful kitchen and bathrooms and living room. Walking distance to the harbour, Fife Coastal Trail and even to the wedding venue (The amazing Cow Shed). Our only issue was finding the place. Google maps took us to the other end of St. Andrews Rd. The correct location is near the corner of St. Andrews and High Street, near the Golf Hotel. If your maps take you to the other location, you may meet a lovely, kind woman who is a bit tired of having people at her door.

We had an awesome stay at this beautiful new home in St Andrews. The property was immaculate, tastefully decorated, fully stocked, and provided a cozy retreat after our daily adventures. The host was responsive, made the booking process easy, and ensured we felt welcome at check-in and throughout our stay. There’s private parking at the property, though everything is walkable. The location is ideal for both golfers and tourists, just a short walk to the Old Course and the center of town. Highlights for us beyond the golf included exploring the cathedral ruins, and walking the beautiful beaches and coastal paths. We loved having pre-dinner drinks in the private garden! We would love to stay again, and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting St Andrews.

Katrina and David were super friendly and helpful hosts. Everything was as described. Comfy beds and whole house clean. Felt like home. Would not hesitate to recommend and would return if ever in this area again.

What a great place to come back to each day for our group of 6. Lots of space and having an extra bathroom was nice. Well appointed and comfortable. Would definitely stay here agai.

Liane and Frederick were great hosts. Good communication beforehand and really easy to get in and settle down. The house is really well put together, a great place to spend a few days with a whole bunch of spots to relax. The decoration and styling has been done really well and looks great. We had a bit of a hiccup with a broken washing machine but the guys were great, offering to take everything and do it themselves which is testament to their hosting. Plus we left a little something behind and they were kind enough to facilitate posting back to us. All in all a great experience 👍
