Located in a very calm and tranquil part of Mysore with easy connectivity to all the tourist destinations in Mysore. This property offers the top floor of the house with 2 bedrooms a living area and a private roof top bonsai garden with a sit out.
“The place looks exactly as described. A floral mansion. The place is filled with different varieties of plants and vegetables. I stayed there during Dec 2019 with my family: wife, mother-in-law and children (ages 11y and 4y). The place felt like being at home. Coming to the location, its a little outskirts of Mysore. There aren’t any major shops or things-to-do by walk nearby. For food, either you should look at ordering via Uber Eats or similar. There’s a road-side Fast Food at the end of the road near the school that serves idly, dosa or vada in the morning. Not for the hygiene buffs though. If you cross the road across the school, then you will come across 1 veg restaurant as well as 2 small bakeries (Cream bun was great). No other supermarkets are available. If you have your own or rented car, there’s plenty of space to park on the street. The rooms were well maintained. Basically you stay in the upper floor of the house and Abraham’s family stays downstairs . Access to the upper floor is inside the house through the living room of the lower floor. There were 1 living room with TV and Treadmill Bicycle. There’s also kitchen utensils and a electric stove in the Living room that you can use. Basic amenities such as towels, bedsheets and toiletries have been provided. There are 2 bedrooms, both well-maintained and a common toilet. Abraham’s mother takes care of the place. She’s a down-to-earth and kind person. She served us with morning coffee and evening tea during our stay. She also shared home-made snacks with us (Kerala Banana chips). You feel a warmth when you interact with her. Throughout the stay, Abraham was connecting with me to see if i needed anything during the stay. As some of the other reviews pointed out, water pressure in the shower and wifi strength is something that can be looked at. The place is quite near to the railway tracks. So you will hear few trains whizzing past (2-3 trains at night and early morning). My youngest got startled with the sound at early morning as the trains that pass usually sound a loud horn. There was a loud commotion next door on the day i stayed and i later found out that it was from the Labour Union office (Vikrant Tyres) that was right next to the property. I would think this may be a one-off incident. In evenings you will hear kids playing on the street in front of the house. So, for those seeking absolute quiet, all these may not suit. Most of us won’t bother these. Overall, it was a great stay. Really felt being at home. Peters are a great hosts. I’ll stay again if I return to Mysuru. Thumbs up to the place!”
The garden house has been built with positive energy in mind; the belief being that everyone who stays here adds to the energy.
“Tharaka and Dorna are superhosts in every sense, and make me so grateful to be part of the Airbnb community. I stayed with them for almost three weeks, and it was a an experience that I will treasure for a long time to come. I was welcomed by Tharaka with homemade kombucha tea after a late arrival, and immediately felt at home after about five minutes or so. If traveling to Mysore for yoga like me, this is a particularly ideal place to stay with several shalas within walking distance. The room is very quiet, spacious, clean and has solar powered hot water. The neighborhood is a pleasure to walk around in, with picturesque bungalows and gardens, delicious cafes and charming shops. A clean and refreshing salt water pool is a 15-min walk away. A supermarket and grocery store are just a 2-min walk. The kitchen in the room has all the essentials you need, though I didn't end up cooking much at all with several wonderful Swiggy options. Tharaka and Dorna invited me to eat with them almost every other day, and on others would leave a little thoughtful treat of some kind. Not only are they interesting, generous, kindhearted and great fun to talk to, the food that they made was absolutely delicious! I was blown away by their incredible generosity in all aspects of my stay. They even packed some homemade aubergine pickle for me, and gave me some culture to make my own Kombucha tea! I will definitely be back, and look forward to my next stay already. Many thanks to you again for all the good times!”

“Totally recommendable!! The best thing about this place is their hospitality. Nivya and her family are beautiful people :) They were always ready to help with tips and local advices, and also caring for our well-being. We were offered tea in the morning and that felt like being at home. Also they can provide homemade food for an extra charge which is worth to try, yummy yummy! The room is comfortable enough for two or one person, has a private toilet and private entrance, hot shower and water boiler available in the room. The neighborhood is a bit further from the city center but well connected by bus, plus there are plenty of markets around! We are very happy of having stayed there and we definitely recommend it! Thanks so much :)”
