Would highly recommend for a group of friends or family host was responsive and helped out in any request we had we enjoyed our stay and would be planning to go there soon

Amazing place. Great aesthetics. Sunita (the house care taker) was extremely warm and welcoming. Had a great time. Rooms are comfortable, AC worked well. Beautiful garden and pool. A small clarification that the jacuzzi is not heated. Location is great, a 15 minute walk from most restaurants, beaches and bars. The host is very responsive and caring. They had also provided a guide with restaurant recommendations and transport facilities. Happy with the price as well. Would recommend to those visiting Ahangama.

Our stay at Villa Tranquil Waters was absolutely unforgettable! The villa is immaculate, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. From the super cozy seating areas designed for ultimate relaxation to the countless books and cinema room filled with fascinating memorabilia, every corner of this house offers something to enjoy. The location is a dream – surrounded by lush trees, facing a serene lagoon, and complete with a private pool. The peaceful setting was the perfect backdrop for a much-needed disconnect. What truly made the experience exceptional were the hosts. They went above and beyond, ensuring every request was met without hesitation. Their warmth, friendliness, and the incredible food they prepared daily made us feel so welcome and cared for. The entire stay was breathtaking, from the scenery to the overall ambiance. The Palm Beach Villa was absolutely amazing! Piyal, the house manager, was waiting for us at the airport, and drove us to the Villa, even tho we arrived early in the morning. There was a wonderful breakfast waiting for us upon our arrival. Piyal and Sujami took such great care of us during the day, and Sumith was there all night, which made us feel very safe. We weren't expecting the high level of pampering we received from the 3 of them. It really made our stay truly relaxing. The Villa and grounds are beautiful! The dogs were an added surprise, and were definitely part of the experience :) The pool was heavenly! The beach was right there!!! and was so beautiful and virtually empty! Watching and helping with the morning fishermen was an experience we will never forget! The location is so private, but close enough to many of the island's attractions. Piyal was a gracious host, driver, and AMAZING cook!!! Sujami was so sweet and helpful. Sumith was great! Will def be back!

Beautiful house, located just on the beach. The swimming pool was amazing, clean and the perfect temperature for the hot outdoors! Martinez and Pradeep, the staff, were incredible. Easy and safe transfers from the airport, easy check in, amazing hospitality and Pradeep’s cooking was incredible! He prepared an amazing on the beach grill watching the sunset, incredible! This place is great for a relaxed, low key holiday!

Arrivée dans un petit coin de paradis chez Leo, à Kitesurfing Lanka. La maison est telle que décrite dans l'annonce, belle vue sur la mer, chambre vaste et bien équipée. Le plus, différentes ambiances du à plusieurs lieux communs. La villa se situe dans un camp de kite avec restaurant (buffet avec delicieux plats), bar et possibilité d'utiliser les kayak et paddle gratuitement. Le personnelle est au petit soin. La plage se situe à quelques metres. Se fut court mais intense, je reviendrai. Merci pour ces quelques jours.

Fabulous villa for our two families of 4 adults and 4 children (all under 5). The pool was the best we had during our time in Sri Lanka with a guard on duty to clean daily as well as being located in a lush garden where we had water monitors, mongoose and eagles fly above us. Jayantha is a true master in the kitchen. Please order his dinners if you stay as they taste delightful as well as cheaper than out at restaurants. The breakfast was even better with different options each day (egg hoppers, pancakes, omelette plus fresh fruit and toast). If we return we would not hesitate to stay again.

It is impossible to sum up just how welcome we were made to feel from the minute we arrived until departure. The villa was beautiful and the pool exquisite- large to relax and swim and spotlessly clean . The inside exactly as described. But the experience was made special due to the wonderful staff, Gihan and his team, who could not do more to make the stay so special. Beautiful breakfasts showcasing Sri Lankan specialities and home cooked food for dinner if wanted for a reasonable cost. He also drove willingly to nearby Hikkaduwa so able to eat out on as many nights as one wanted. However they also respected guests desire for privacy - a difficult balance to achieve. They went above and beyond anything we might have hoped for. The villa is a little remote but one knows that before booking and the tranquility more than made up for the inability to walk to restaurants. I would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

The place was lovely, right on the river front and absolutely peaceful. Its also very close to the beach and we would definitely recommend the place. Somehow the tuktuk price around the area were pretty outrageous, so if you have a rented or owned vehicle, it’ll make things a lot easier but that’s not on the host, they were absolutely amazing.

We had a fantastic 10-day break at this beautiful villa. The setting is amazing, overlooking the infinity of the Indian Ocean, with the calming sound of the crashing waves. The sea was too rough for a swim but the beach was perfect for a walk. The garden is lovely, the pool is a welcome escape from the heat and the house itself is spacious enough for everyone not to be in each other's way. We had so much fun during our stay - massages in the garden, wandering the neighbourhood and meeting the locals, visiting nearby beaches (Dickwella beach was our favourite, especially with young kids), safari, releasing baby turtles in the sea, boat trips, etc.... Last but certainly not least - the lovely staff. The hospitality offered by Suneetha, Ajith and Ari was truly special. They are all lovely and looked after us so well. Apart from the delicious food they prepared daily, they arranged our trips, transport, etc. It was hard to leave and tears were shed at the end. We'll be back, for sure!

The Villa is stunning, even more beautiful than the pictures! The outlook from poolside was beautiful, we watched the monkeys playing in the trees while enjoying a lovely breakfast and throughout the day were visited by peacocks, iguanas and many different birdlife. What made this holiday an amazing experience was the excellent services of Chadima. Chadima is highly intuitive of what level of attention you prefer and always highly respectful of privacy and would always check before coming in the kitchen. Chadima prepared breakfast every day, asking for our preferences the night before. We also enjoyed some dinners and a lunch prepared by Chadima which were all excellent. Chadima is super proud of using the highest quality ingredients and would be at the fish markets in the early hours of the morning to get the catch of the day if fish was our choice for dinner. We also enjoyed a great fun cookery lesson with Chadima. Excellent & professional hospitality service - highly recommend.

Wir wurden von Anfang an herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort wohl. Die Villa liegt in einer ruhigen Umgebung, der grüne Garten gibt einem das Gefühl, komplett für sich zu sein, die Atmosphäre ist super schön. Man ist ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht (AC, Wifi, Waschmaschine, usw.). Wenn wir etwas gebraucht haben, wurde uns sofort geholfen. Ein weiterer hilfreicher Pluspunkt ist zudem die Möglichkeit, sich einen (sehr guten) Scooter zu leihen, um die unzähligen schönen Strände, Cafés, Restaurants, etc. der Umgebung einfach und flexibel zu erreichen. Wir hatten außerdem noch das Glück, das leckere und umfangreiche Frühstück zu probieren - absolute Empfehlung! Sollten wir einmal wieder Sri Lanka bereisen, würden wir definitiv wiederkommen 😊

One of our all-time favourite accomodations, from over 40 countries visited. What we loved: - falling asleep with the sound of waves, which was perfect (not too loud, not too low) - our mornings and sunsets on the terrace of the building - the location inside the forest, and on top of the cliffs - nature all around us, with nice fauna (varan, monkeys, peacocks, small birds) visiting us. Don’t worry, there is nothing dangerous, they avoid people - The access to the cliff which is just a couple of steps away from the villas. Very good place for sunsets and meditation after - The pool is really nice for relaxing swimming at the end of the day - Near 2 beaches : Jungle beach (amaaaazing place) and Unawatuna beach, also very nice - Small cozy restaurants just outside the villas - A lot of space inside, very comfortable beds & pillows - The host and personnel are top-notch. Hospitality at next level. It was my wife’s 25th birthday and they helped us make it memorable. Great experience!

- We stayed with my whole family, total of 7 adults and a child. As soon as we arrived, the staff was very welcoming and kind. The place is beautiful, decor of the house is well thought through and so nice! 😍 - We also booked a cooking class for dinner time and breakfast! There was a little misunderstanding about breakfast, because you can choose between a few options but the staff again went above and beyond to make sure we were happy (which we were anyway 🙂). - Cooking class was interesting, they explained everything thoroughly and food so delicious! We also booked a private bartender who made cocktails while we enjoyed the cooking class, which was very good as well and between the group, great value for money! - swimming pool is nice and refreshing, and view from the top floor terrace is stunning! - overall I would highly recommend this place - it’s perfect for a group but it’s really the staff that makes it extra great!

Die Unterkunft ist sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und liegt inmitten einer traumhaften Landschaft mit Blick auf die Teeplantagen – einfach wunderschön und sehr entspannend. Der Gastgeber war äußerst hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, wenn man etwas brauchte. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und gut betreut. Ein perfekter Ort zum Abschalten und Genießen der Natur. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!
