Come out and enjoy nature and look at the stars at the Ponderosa. Lake Sam Rayburn is 35 min., Steinhagen Reservoir is 10 min. away and Big Thicket National Game preserve is minutes away. The Longhorn Guest Cabin

This is a newly renovated guest cabin located on a 70 acre ranch with access to walking trails, the Theuvinin creek for fishing and three miles from the start of the National Park Service Turkey Creek trail and the Pitcher Plant Trail. During summer months the park service has night hikes, canoeing, star gazing and free fishing days. Microwave oven available. Cabin accommodates 4 guest with a minimum of a four night stay. Cabin is nonsmoking.
