Family-friendly holiday rentals in Spring Valley

We are so grateful to have been able to stay at Gwynn's place, it is so peaceful and lovely. Like a secret garden getaway. We loved all the small touches, and beauty of the space. Gwynn made us feel very welcome and comfortable! The pool is amazing and the outdoor spaces are delightful. Can't wait to stay here again.

I really enjoyed my time spent there. Not only the scenery was nice, but it was also quiet and peaceful. I also especially appreciated Jeffery’s hospitality and kindness and I would definitely recommend going back!

Quiet location, exactly as pictured and described. Parking could be a challenge if you have a large vehicle but being able to park in the garage made it easier. Great communication!

The VIEWS!!! Absolutely breathtaking. We could’ve spent the entire trip just soaking in that ocean view—it was seriously next-level. From sunrise to sunset, it was pure magic. We absolutely loved Kate’s place and Kate herself! She was the best host we’ve ever had. The property was beautiful, peaceful, and had such a fun, quirky charm that made it feel like a hidden gem. The bed was insanely comfortable, the robes were perfectly cozy, and the coffee? Delicious. The art supplies and hot tub facing the ocean were truly to die for—I didn’t even want to leave to explore San Diego because I was so content right there. We slept with the back door open to hear the waves crash all night long and let the ocean breeze in. The neighborhood felt super safe and had such a great vibe. We already know we’ll be back to see Kate every year. No doubt about it.

We had an amazing stay at Nicklas’s place in San Diego! The condo is beautifully renovated and right on the waterfront—waking up to those ocean views was such a treat. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with everything we needed, making our stay super comfortable and convenient. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making the space feel like a true home away from home. We would absolutely love to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend!

We loved all the nature around the compound. The garden is beautifully kept. It was soothing to hear the gentle rain on the roof of our tent. it was The perfect setting for 3 friends to catch up with each others' lives.

The place is way better in person than the pictures. Every amenity you can think of and even things you don’t think of are properly labeled and organized. It truly is a vacation spot and made us feel like we were in a 5 star resort. The views of the bay from Tijuana to downtown were spectacular. Eating meals and having drinks by the pool while watching the sunset are some of the best we’ve seen in San Diego. There is so much to do we didn’t want to leave the place. Patrick made us feel like family and welcomed us personally and walked us through his home. This touch was very well received. He was responsive and very friendly. The place is pristine and it’s obvious they have put lots of love into the place. I wish I could give it more stars than the 5 stars. We definitely will be back and look forward to visiting this place soon.

This place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a great location! The photos and description were completely accurate, so there were no surprises when we arrived. The check-in process was smooth, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The space was well-stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to extra towels. We especially appreciated how quiet and peaceful it was, yet still close to shops and restaurants. We loved our stay at Rachel’s place. The apartment is beautiful, light and spacious. A lovely central location in a sweet neighbourhood with lots of fab Italian restaurants on the doorstep. Important to note the parking is not onsite but was easy to find with clear instructions and only 5 mins walk from the apartment. We would come back if we visit San Diego again!

David is exactly what the reviews said about his responsiveness. My family and I can say this was our best experience ever in San Diego. We felt at home and this experience made it easy for my wife and I to conclude that when traveling with our young kids, we would be better off reserving an airbnb with a great host like David. We had a wonderful stay at this cozy little cottage! The space was thoughtfully stocked with common personal care and household items—perfect for those little things you might forget while traveling. We also really appreciated the extra touches like snacks and coffee, which made us feel right at home. One of the best parts was how accommodating the hosts were to our fur babies—it’s always a relief to find a truly pet-friendly spot. We were very happy with our stay. Everything was nice, clean, and nicely decorated. Parking was easy and the area was nice and safe. Natalya was always responsive and friendly. Check in and check out was very easy.

Michelle and Robyn’s place was such a wonderful place to stay and experience, my husband wanted me to note that he wishes we can give 5 billion stars for the bed alone, the entire place was well maintained clean and so comfortable. This place was very conveniently located near downtown San Diego, Coronado island, La Jolla coves, Petco Park, Balboa Park, little Italy and the marina. The home was quiet and very private with amenities that were useful. We were so pleased with our stay and would love to visit again, if you are unsure and reading reviews please take this as your sign to book here! :)

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was stunning, with ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves—it was the perfect place to relax after a day out. There were several great restaurants within walking distance, and we loved being able to grab snacks from the nearby Oxxo, just a short 5-minute walk away. The host was very accommodating, allowing us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Security at the front was helpful and friendly—they assigned us a parking space and made it easy to find the building. We did experience a couple of minor issues: the shower wasn’t draining properly, and on the third day, the door wouldn't lock. The host responded quickly to our messages, but unfortunately, no one showed up after we waited about an hour. However, the issue was resolved while we were out, so everything was fine when we returned. Despite those small hiccups, we had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again. This was my first AirB&B stay, and I was very pleased! The instructions were easy, and I felt at liberty to go in and out without disturbing anyone. The kitchen was great for cooking up basic meals and saved us on the eating out budget. Most things were well-stocked and the appliances were in working order. We had an issue with the TV, and the hosts were quick to check things out and found a very generous solution for us. Good thing, because we enjoyed ending our days with some movie time. You will not struggle with parking, and the outside patio is just wonderful! Some things to note: People are allowed to bring pets, so you'll probably find dog hairs on the outside furniture. The table inside is a bit small so we ate most of our meals outside. This worked great with the wonderful weather we had, but it might be less fun otherwise. You can also sometimes hear sounds through the shared wall, but nothing that disturbed our sleep. In summary, I would stay here again.

Overall our stay was great! The location is in a great spot, close to a lot of cute restaurants and coffee shops. Camila was very helpful. The only slight downside is parking is a bit tricky but that’s really all of San Diego. All in all we would totally stay here again.

This was the second time that my family stayed at this AirBnB, and we absolutely love the condo's proximity to the beach. The condo itself is clean with all the basic essentials that you need... boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, and cooking supplies. Both of the times that we've stayed here the condo has been very quiet; we've never heard noise from neighbors. The condo community has several pools, hot tubs, and a tennis court plus the spectacular clubhouse with panoramic ocean views. There are lots of little coffee shops and places to walk to near the condo community and it's very family friendly. The mattresses and pillows are dated, but aside from that this condo is truly a gem.

Anthony’s apartment was just what I needed for my adult son and me. 2 twin beds in the living room worked well as another bedroom without the cost of a 2 bedroom. The kitchen is small but had all we needed to make bfast in the mornings. Helpful to have a parking spot in back and washer dryer in unit. I really enjoyed the location next to an urban park, pretty neighborhood for walks, and short walk to restaurants and coffee shop. Anthony was super helpful when we arrived.

If you're currently looking for a place to stay in the San Diego area and have kids, stop looking. This is the place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carrie's property. Kids Paradise was ideal for our young ones, and thanks to Carrie’s thoughtful preparations, we had everything we needed for a comfortable experience. This made it possible for our children to have a wonderful vacation, while also allowing us parents to relax. I highly recommend this accommodation for families with children of all ages. We look forward to the possibility of staying at one of her other properties in the future.

The apartment is, well appointed, spacious & complete with everything you could want. The gardens are beyond beautiful, with lots of interesting trees and shrubbery and even a walking trail around the whole property. The pool is lovely and child safe. We felt very safe, there was an entry code for the front gate and another for our unit. The whole house is located in a beautiful, upscale area.

We had a lovely time celebrating graduation and Father’s Day at Teresa‘s AirBnb! It was very spacious, had a full kitchen, and all the amenities we needed for the perfect visit. The location is perfect, with plenty of places to dine & shop! And Teresa was very quick in responding to messages! We can’t thank her enough for being the perfect host!!
