Family-friendly holiday rentals in Spittal an der Drau District

Booked last minute and available by chance. Beautiful villa with all comforts, underfloor heating in the living/dining room, wonderful sauna and spacious jacuzzi, good beds, near the slopes and a 12-minute drive from Katschberg Höhe. With 8 adults and a child of 7, more than enough space. Also recommended in the spring, summer or autumn season. In any case, we'd love to come back again.

An excellent apartment for young families: great large eating and living area. Large beds and bedrooms, and sofa beds. The hotel had an excellent swimming pool area, playground and generally extremely child friendly.

Very helpful host. Location was good, and amenities were great. Easy check in / out. We had access to swimming pools and saunas, which was great after a days activities in the mountains. You can reach the ski lift with in 10 minutes walk. Kitchen had everything what we needed for the duration of our stay. Will recommend this place to my friends and probably will be using Xenia’s place again if I’ll be in the area.

An absolutely fantastic stay in the mountains! The alpine hut in the Lesachtal exceeded all our expectations - surrounded by beautiful nature, with hiking trails right outside the door and numerous birds of prey, alpine jackdaws, alpine swifts and even vultures that we could observe. The hut itself is authentic, cozy and very clean - equipped with everything you need on an alpine pasture: a gas kitchen, a wood-burning stove and a very special flair. The jacuzzi at 1600 m altitude was a unique experience! Barbecuing with a view of the mountains was also unforgettable. Friendly cows grazed in the area and the fresh mountain spring water directly at the house rounded off the natural experience. Madlyn was very friendly and explained everything we needed to know for our stay. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. A clear recommendation for all those who seek peace, nature and originality!

great place to stay!!! We stayed for 7 days with 6 or for 3 days with 8 adults and dog, there was enough room for everyone. We were over Christmas and the whole house inside and out was extraordinarily great and lovingly decorated, even with Christmas tree for us, the whole family of Nina was very helpful, there were no problems at all! We felt super comfortable! I would recommend the place to anyone at any time! We will be happy to come back.

Super nice contact, answers came very quickly and in detail. Very cozy house, looks original better and bigger than in the photos. Everything clean and beautiful clock yet modern. I only heated and cooked with wood, that was awesome. Super great area where you can experience great tours (we in winter with lots of snow). We made beautiful snowshoe tours and everything in the immediate vicinity. Very nice neighbors who are there to help you, where we were also invited to Christmas Eve, such a thing is not self-evident. Thank you for these wonderful quiet beautiful days in the house. The house and walking is highly recommended.

The connection to a hotel, with all the associated amenities, is already something special. If you have such good luck with the weather, you can feel really lucky 😀

We stayed in a spacious and very cozy apartment equipped with everything we needed. The access to the lake is great, there are two trampolines for children, stand up paddles and even a pedal boat to rent. Anton and Margot are two extremely gracious hosts who care a lot and have made a lot of things possible. We felt very comfortable in Haus Bichel and will definitely return. The next vacation is already booked. Thanks again to Margot and Anton!

Great place if you're looking for a quiet and secluded space with beautiful views. The bungalow was ready for us in every aspect: clean, plenty coffee pods, burning wood ready, BBQ with charcoal available, clear instructions how to use the pellet burner. There was even a lovely welcoming gift. Such a small gesture but makes such a difference! The owner was helpful and responsive. Gave us some recommendations which we were happy to explore. The only things we were missing where some basic kitchen stuff, such as salt, pepper, tea bags. There was no shower gel or shampoo available and towels were very small. Overall, the place was well prepared for us and the owner looks after his guests. And these views! Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed the few days here! Above all, the quiet location and the diverse possibilities in the area made this stay an unforgettable experience. Not to forget, of course, is the beautiful cabin, where you can find everything you need for a short vacation!

Very good location. Close to lifts, the railway station and buses. At this home, you don't have to steep slopes to the lift.

Helena welcomed us with a smile and is kind and helpful. The apartment is perfect, with everything we needed. It's also in a superb location and interesting to find. With beautiful walks from the door. The snow was sparse when we visited so the adjoining ski centre was closed. With good snow you could literally ski in and out. The area is a fantastic place to explore. We had a great time.

Very nice host for a wonderful place to stay. We spent 11 days skiing over New Year’s - Martin was super responsive and friendly and supplied us with lots of useful infos on dining and skiing arrangements.

Alfred was an incredibly kind and attentive host who picked us up from the train station upon arrival. The appartement was clean and comfortable. The location in Amlach is calm, quiet, and only one short bus stop away form Lienz.

It was very nice to stay at Maria's place again. The location is really perfect. It is less than 5 minutes to the ski bus and everything else is within walking distance. Maria is a very kind and open hostess. We'll be back.

Absolutely amazing mountain hut in stunning scenery. Teresa and Stefan have put in loads of work so that you can get back to basics, slow down and live it up in natural luxury! Thoroughly recommend Danke schon!

What a fantastic place at Peter and Andrea's! We were 6 (4 adults and 2 babies) and a dog. We were kindly received with homemade cake and given a short tour of the grounds. The accommodation is very nice! Two spacious bedrooms, a nice kitchen and bathroom and a beautiful terrace! The grounds of the accommodation are large and beautiful, we could even pick oregano, chives and thyme for dinner! Peter makes his own berry vodka, vinegar and jam and we got some to try. The area is also beautiful: many hiking opportunities, nice huts with beautiful views and wonderfully quiet. We greatly appreciate the hospitality of Peter and Andrea! They are incredibly nice, hospitable and helpful. We'd love to come back!

It's a nice cabin in the woods, a bit uphill from the Reisach. 17 min drive to Tropolach (ski). Very cozy, clean and well maintained. Has everything you need... although not so easy to find (drive to the bottom of the camping site). Hos is just across the house, very responsive and kind.

Probably one of the most beautiful apartments in the apartment building. Very lovingly and practically furnished, with plenty of space and storage. Since everything is available (including Basic spices, staples, laundry detergent, etc.), the holiday can start practically immediately and you simply replace what you use up. The fact that the residents among us liked and needed a lot was a bit of bad luck. The price would be nice if the tourist tax and, if possible, the Weissensee Card were already included. Otherwise full recommendation!

We were happy. Cozy, clean, well-equipped. When we needed something, they were willing to accommodate us. We struggled a bit to find the front desk. The 4 beds were comfortable, the fifth bed (bed type) not much. Overall rating: 90%
