“This little studio garden apartment is perfect for 1-3 people (if the 3rd person sleeps on the couch). The listing is accurate. The A/C is on and works well, and the shades help keep the temperature perfect in the summer. Hot water in the sinks and showers. A nice little kitchen stocked with the pots, pans, and utensil you need (no microwave just yet though). The couple who owns it live next door and are very friendly, responsive, and helpful. I asked for a fan and a new sponge and they were happy to oblige, and I’m sure they’d do the same if you needed anything. Perfect location on Lee highway at the intersection of Main Street. Note some bugs came in (small spiders, a stinkbug, some other weird little critters) but they warn you in the listing and they’re pretty easy to keep out for the most part if you keep the door closed. I really enjoyed my stay and would return.”
A Quaint private building, originally built as a Blacksmith Shop. Conestoga wagons were made behind this building near the Thornton River.; now guest will enjoy a recently renovated and spacious one room 'suite' right off of Main Street. Queen bed with plush bedding. Private bathroom with shower. Kitchenette with hotplate, smoothie maker, coffee maker, and microwave. Private deck that overlooks the Thornton River. Outdoor shower.
“Jackie’s place was the perfect spot for a weekend away for myself and my husband. It was smack dab in the middle of the quaint town of Sperryville which offered easy access to coffee, sandwiches, pizza, and beer. We enjoyed a quick drive to hike Mary’s Rock and visited a couple nearby vineyards. It was a beautiful visit all around, and the cute, stylish cottage made a comfortable place to call home for 2 days. Check in and out was a breeze. I would definitely recommend this place. Thanks Jackie!”
Looking for a "Shack" experience? Spend time in the foothills of the Skyline Drive at our cozy cottage. Well behaved dogs are welcome. The driveway is long and home is very secluded. Set on 60 acres. Winter access will be subject to weather conditions. Driveway does not get plowed Cell service is spotty however the house has a landline and wifi.
“This place was a real gem! A real getaway from everything, but without sacrificing the amenities 😊 this was our first getaway as a family of 3 (we went with our 8 month old) and it was fabulous! She loved all the toys around the house and the wide open spaces to crawl on. Valerie was SUPER quick with replies and very lovely and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again. 👍🏻”
